How to Teach Quran to Young Children at Home

Teaching our children the Quran is one of our greatest responsibilities as parents. However, forcing them to sit down for hours can create resistance. Here is how to make it a positive experience:

1. Lead by Example: Children mimic their parents. Let them see you reading the Quran daily. They will naturally want to follow you.

2. Make it Fun: Use stories of the Prophets, interactive apps, and reward charts. Celebrate their milestones, like completing a Surah or the Qaida.

3. Keep Sessions Short: For young children (ages 4-7), 15-20 minutes is plenty. Short, daily sessions are far better than one long weekly class.
