Para 30 • 564 Verses

An-Naba - 1 Page 582
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ عَمَّ يَتَسَآءَلُونَ
EN About what are they asking one another?
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ عَمَّ يَتَسَاءَلُونَ UR
An-Naba - 2 Page 582
عَنِ ٱلنَّبَإِ ٱلْعَظِيمِ
EN About the great news -
عَنِ النَّبَإِ الْعَظِيمِ UR
An-Naba - 3 Page 582
ٱلَّذِى هُمْ فِيهِ مُخْتَلِفُونَ
EN That over which they are in disagreement.
الَّذِي هُمْ فِيهِ مُخْتَلِفُونَ UR
An-Naba - 4 Page 582
كَلَّا سَيَعْلَمُونَ
EN No! They are going to know.
كَلَّا سَيَعْلَمُونَ UR
An-Naba - 5 Page 582
ثُمَّ كَلَّا سَيَعْلَمُونَ
EN Then, no! They are going to know.
ثُمَّ كَلَّا سَيَعْلَمُونَ UR
An-Naba - 6 Page 582
أَلَمْ نَجْعَلِ ٱلْأَرْضَ مِهَٰدًۭا
EN Have We not made the earth a resting place?
أَلَمْ نَجْعَلِ الْأَرْضَ مِهَادًا UR
An-Naba - 7 Page 582
وَٱلْجِبَالَ أَوْتَادًۭا
EN And the mountains as stakes?
وَالْجِبَالَ أَوْتَادًا UR
An-Naba - 8 Page 582
وَخَلَقْنَٰكُمْ أَزْوَٰجًۭا
EN And We created you in pairs
وَخَلَقْنَاكُمْ أَزْوَاجًا UR
An-Naba - 9 Page 582
وَجَعَلْنَا نَوْمَكُمْ سُبَاتًۭا
EN And made your sleep [a means for] rest
وَجَعَلْنَا نَوْمَكُمْ سُبَاتًا UR
An-Naba - 10 Page 582
وَجَعَلْنَا ٱلَّيْلَ لِبَاسًۭا
EN And made the night as clothing
وَجَعَلْنَا اللَّيْلَ لِبَاسًا UR
An-Naba - 11 Page 582
وَجَعَلْنَا ٱلنَّهَارَ مَعَاشًۭا
EN And made the day for livelihood
وَجَعَلْنَا النَّهَارَ مَعَاشًا UR
An-Naba - 12 Page 582
وَبَنَيْنَا فَوْقَكُمْ سَبْعًۭا شِدَادًۭا
EN And constructed above you seven strong [heavens]
وَبَنَيْنَا فَوْقَكُمْ سَبْعًا شِدَادًا UR
An-Naba - 13 Page 582
وَجَعَلْنَا سِرَاجًۭا وَهَّاجًۭا
EN And made [therein] a burning lamp
وَجَعَلْنَا سِرَاجًا وَهَّاجًا UR
An-Naba - 14 Page 582
وَأَنزَلْنَا مِنَ ٱلْمُعْصِرَٰتِ مَآءًۭ ثَجَّاجًۭا
EN And sent down, from the rain clouds, pouring water
وَأَنْزَلْنَا مِنَ الْمُعْصِرَاتِ مَاءً ثَجَّاجًا UR
An-Naba - 15 Page 582
لِّنُخْرِجَ بِهِۦ حَبًّۭا وَنَبَاتًۭا
EN That We may bring forth thereby grain and vegetation
لِنُخْرِجَ بِهِ حَبًّا وَنَبَاتًا UR
An-Naba - 16 Page 582
وَجَنَّٰتٍ أَلْفَافًا
EN And gardens of entwined growth.
وَجَنَّاتٍ أَلْفَافًا UR
An-Naba - 17 Page 582
إِنَّ يَوْمَ ٱلْفَصْلِ كَانَ مِيقَٰتًۭا
EN Indeed, the Day of Judgement is an appointed time -
إِنَّ يَوْمَ الْفَصْلِ كَانَ مِيقَاتًا UR
An-Naba - 18 Page 582
يَوْمَ يُنفَخُ فِى ٱلصُّورِ فَتَأْتُونَ أَفْوَاجًۭا
EN The Day the Horn is blown and you will come forth in multitudes
يَوْمَ يُنْفَخُ فِي الصُّورِ فَتَأْتُونَ أَفْوَاجًا UR
An-Naba - 19 Page 582
وَفُتِحَتِ ٱلسَّمَآءُ فَكَانَتْ أَبْوَٰبًۭا
EN And the heaven is opened and will become gateways
وَفُتِحَتِ السَّمَاءُ فَكَانَتْ أَبْوَابًا UR
An-Naba - 20 Page 582
وَسُيِّرَتِ ٱلْجِبَالُ فَكَانَتْ سَرَابًا
EN And the mountains are removed and will be [but] a mirage.
وَسُيِّرَتِ الْجِبَالُ فَكَانَتْ سَرَابًا UR
An-Naba - 21 Page 582
إِنَّ جَهَنَّمَ كَانَتْ مِرْصَادًۭا
EN Indeed, Hell has been lying in wait
إِنَّ جَهَنَّمَ كَانَتْ مِرْصَادًا UR
An-Naba - 22 Page 582
لِّلطَّٰغِينَ مَـَٔابًۭا
EN For the transgressors, a place of return,
لِلطَّاغِينَ مَآبًا UR
An-Naba - 23 Page 582
لَّٰبِثِينَ فِيهَآ أَحْقَابًۭا
EN In which they will remain for ages [unending].
لَابِثِينَ فِيهَا أَحْقَابًا UR
An-Naba - 24 Page 582
لَّا يَذُوقُونَ فِيهَا بَرْدًۭا وَلَا شَرَابًا
EN They will not taste therein [any] coolness or drink
لَا يَذُوقُونَ فِيهَا بَرْدًا وَلَا شَرَابًا UR
An-Naba - 25 Page 582
إِلَّا حَمِيمًۭا وَغَسَّاقًۭا
EN Except scalding water and [foul] purulence -
إِلَّا حَمِيمًا وَغَسَّاقًا UR
An-Naba - 26 Page 582
جَزَآءًۭ وِفَاقًا
EN An appropriate recompense.
جَزَاءً وِفَاقًا UR
An-Naba - 27 Page 582
إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا۟ لَا يَرْجُونَ حِسَابًۭا
EN Indeed, they were not expecting an account
إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا لَا يَرْجُونَ حِسَابًا UR
An-Naba - 28 Page 582
وَكَذَّبُوا۟ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا كِذَّابًۭا
EN And denied Our verses with [emphatic] denial.
وَكَذَّبُوا بِآيَاتِنَا كِذَّابًا UR
An-Naba - 29 Page 582
وَكُلَّ شَىْءٍ أَحْصَيْنَٰهُ كِتَٰبًۭا
EN But all things We have enumerated in writing.
وَكُلَّ شَيْءٍ أَحْصَيْنَاهُ كِتَابًا UR
An-Naba - 30 Page 582
فَذُوقُوا۟ فَلَن نَّزِيدَكُمْ إِلَّا عَذَابًا
EN "So taste [the penalty], and never will We increase you except in torment."
فَذُوقُوا فَلَنْ نَزِيدَكُمْ إِلَّا عَذَابًا UR
An-Naba - 31 Page 583
إِنَّ لِلْمُتَّقِينَ مَفَازًا
EN Indeed, for the righteous is attainment -
إِنَّ لِلْمُتَّقِينَ مَفَازًا UR
An-Naba - 32 Page 583
حَدَآئِقَ وَأَعْنَٰبًۭا
EN Gardens and grapevines
حَدَائِقَ وَأَعْنَابًا UR
An-Naba - 33 Page 583
وَكَوَاعِبَ أَتْرَابًۭا
EN And full-breasted [companions] of equal age
وَكَوَاعِبَ أَتْرَابًا UR
An-Naba - 34 Page 583
وَكَأْسًۭا دِهَاقًۭا
EN And a full cup.
وَكَأْسًا دِهَاقًا UR
An-Naba - 35 Page 583
لَّا يَسْمَعُونَ فِيهَا لَغْوًۭا وَلَا كِذَّٰبًۭا
EN No ill speech will they hear therein or any falsehood -
لَا يَسْمَعُونَ فِيهَا لَغْوًا وَلَا كِذَّابًا UR
An-Naba - 36 Page 583
جَزَآءًۭ مِّن رَّبِّكَ عَطَآءً حِسَابًۭا
EN [As] reward from your Lord, [a generous] gift [made due by] account,
جَزَاءً مِنْ رَبِّكَ عَطَاءً حِسَابًا UR
An-Naba - 37 Page 583
رَّبِّ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ۖ لَا يَمْلِكُونَ مِنْهُ خِطَابًۭا
EN [From] the Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them, the Most Merciful. They possess not from Him [authority for] speech.
رَبِّ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا الرَّحْمَٰنِ ۖ لَا يَمْلِكُونَ مِنْهُ خِطَابًا UR
An-Naba - 38 Page 583
يَوْمَ يَقُومُ ٱلرُّوحُ وَٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ صَفًّۭا ۖ لَّا يَتَكَلَّمُونَ إِلَّا مَنْ أَذِنَ لَهُ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنُ وَقَالَ صَوَابًۭا
EN The Day that the Spirit and the angels will stand in rows, they will not speak except for one whom the Most Merciful permits, and he will say what is correct.
يَوْمَ يَقُومُ الرُّوحُ وَالْمَلَائِكَةُ صَفًّا ۖ لَا يَتَكَلَّمُونَ إِلَّا مَنْ أَذِنَ لَهُ الرَّحْمَٰنُ وَقَالَ صَوَابًا UR
An-Naba - 39 Page 583
ذَٰلِكَ ٱلْيَوْمُ ٱلْحَقُّ ۖ فَمَن شَآءَ ٱتَّخَذَ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِۦ مَـَٔابًا
EN That is the True Day; so he who wills may take to his Lord a [way of] return.
ذَٰلِكَ الْيَوْمُ الْحَقُّ ۖ فَمَنْ شَاءَ اتَّخَذَ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِ مَآبًا UR
An-Naba - 40 Page 583
إِنَّآ أَنذَرْنَٰكُمْ عَذَابًۭا قَرِيبًۭا يَوْمَ يَنظُرُ ٱلْمَرْءُ مَا قَدَّمَتْ يَدَاهُ وَيَقُولُ ٱلْكَافِرُ يَٰلَيْتَنِى كُنتُ تُرَٰبًۢا
EN Indeed, We have warned you of a near punishment on the Day when a man will observe what his hands have put forth and the disbeliever will say, "Oh, I wish that I were dust!"
إِنَّا أَنْذَرْنَاكُمْ عَذَابًا قَرِيبًا يَوْمَ يَنْظُرُ الْمَرْءُ مَا قَدَّمَتْ يَدَاهُ وَيَقُولُ الْكَافِرُ يَا لَيْتَنِي كُنْتُ تُرَابًا UR
An-Naazi'aat - 1 Page 583
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ وَٱلنَّٰزِعَٰتِ غَرْقًۭا
EN By those [angels] who extract with violence
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ وَالنَّازِعَاتِ غَرْقًا UR
An-Naazi'aat - 2 Page 583
وَٱلنَّٰشِطَٰتِ نَشْطًۭا
EN And [by] those who remove with ease
وَالنَّاشِطَاتِ نَشْطًا UR
An-Naazi'aat - 3 Page 583
وَٱلسَّٰبِحَٰتِ سَبْحًۭا
EN And [by] those who glide [as if] swimming
وَالسَّابِحَاتِ سَبْحًا UR
An-Naazi'aat - 4 Page 583
فَٱلسَّٰبِقَٰتِ سَبْقًۭا
EN And those who race each other in a race
فَالسَّابِقَاتِ سَبْقًا UR
An-Naazi'aat - 5 Page 583
فَٱلْمُدَبِّرَٰتِ أَمْرًۭا
EN And those who arrange [each] matter,
فَالْمُدَبِّرَاتِ أَمْرًا UR
An-Naazi'aat - 6 Page 583
يَوْمَ تَرْجُفُ ٱلرَّاجِفَةُ
EN On the Day the blast [of the Horn] will convulse [creation],
يَوْمَ تَرْجُفُ الرَّاجِفَةُ UR
An-Naazi'aat - 7 Page 583
تَتْبَعُهَا ٱلرَّادِفَةُ
EN There will follow it the subsequent [one].
تَتْبَعُهَا الرَّادِفَةُ UR
An-Naazi'aat - 8 Page 583
قُلُوبٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ وَاجِفَةٌ
EN Hearts, that Day, will tremble,
قُلُوبٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ وَاجِفَةٌ UR
An-Naazi'aat - 9 Page 583
أَبْصَٰرُهَا خَٰشِعَةٌۭ
EN Their eyes humbled.
أَبْصَارُهَا خَاشِعَةٌ UR
An-Naazi'aat - 10 Page 583
يَقُولُونَ أَءِنَّا لَمَرْدُودُونَ فِى ٱلْحَافِرَةِ
EN They are [presently] saying, "Will we indeed be returned to [our] former state [of life]?
يَقُولُونَ أَإِنَّا لَمَرْدُودُونَ فِي الْحَافِرَةِ UR
An-Naazi'aat - 11 Page 583
أَءِذَا كُنَّا عِظَٰمًۭا نَّخِرَةًۭ
EN Even if we should be decayed bones?
أَإِذَا كُنَّا عِظَامًا نَخِرَةً UR
An-Naazi'aat - 12 Page 583
قَالُوا۟ تِلْكَ إِذًۭا كَرَّةٌ خَاسِرَةٌۭ
EN They say, "That, then, would be a losing return."
قَالُوا تِلْكَ إِذًا كَرَّةٌ خَاسِرَةٌ UR
An-Naazi'aat - 13 Page 583
فَإِنَّمَا هِىَ زَجْرَةٌۭ وَٰحِدَةٌۭ
EN Indeed, it will be but one shout,
فَإِنَّمَا هِيَ زَجْرَةٌ وَاحِدَةٌ UR
An-Naazi'aat - 14 Page 583
فَإِذَا هُم بِٱلسَّاهِرَةِ
EN And suddenly they will be [alert] upon the earth's surface.
فَإِذَا هُمْ بِالسَّاهِرَةِ UR
An-Naazi'aat - 15 Page 583
هَلْ أَتَىٰكَ حَدِيثُ مُوسَىٰٓ
EN Has there reached you the story of Moses? -
هَلْ أَتَاكَ حَدِيثُ مُوسَىٰ UR
An-Naazi'aat - 16 Page 584
إِذْ نَادَىٰهُ رَبُّهُۥ بِٱلْوَادِ ٱلْمُقَدَّسِ طُوًى
EN When his Lord called to him in the sacred valley of Tuwa,
إِذْ نَادَاهُ رَبُّهُ بِالْوَادِ الْمُقَدَّسِ طُوًى UR
An-Naazi'aat - 17 Page 584
ٱذْهَبْ إِلَىٰ فِرْعَوْنَ إِنَّهُۥ طَغَىٰ
EN "Go to Pharaoh. Indeed, he has transgressed.
اذْهَبْ إِلَىٰ فِرْعَوْنَ إِنَّهُ طَغَىٰ UR
An-Naazi'aat - 18 Page 584
فَقُلْ هَل لَّكَ إِلَىٰٓ أَن تَزَكَّىٰ
EN And say to him, 'Would you [be willing to] purify yourself
فَقُلْ هَلْ لَكَ إِلَىٰ أَنْ تَزَكَّىٰ UR
An-Naazi'aat - 19 Page 584
وَأَهْدِيَكَ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ فَتَخْشَىٰ
EN And let me guide you to your Lord so you would fear [Him]?'"
وَأَهْدِيَكَ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ فَتَخْشَىٰ UR
An-Naazi'aat - 20 Page 584
فَأَرَىٰهُ ٱلْءَايَةَ ٱلْكُبْرَىٰ
EN And he showed him the greatest sign,
فَأَرَاهُ الْآيَةَ الْكُبْرَىٰ UR
An-Naazi'aat - 21 Page 584
فَكَذَّبَ وَعَصَىٰ
EN But Pharaoh denied and disobeyed.
فَكَذَّبَ وَعَصَىٰ UR
An-Naazi'aat - 22 Page 584
ثُمَّ أَدْبَرَ يَسْعَىٰ
EN Then he turned his back, striving.
ثُمَّ أَدْبَرَ يَسْعَىٰ UR
An-Naazi'aat - 23 Page 584
فَحَشَرَ فَنَادَىٰ
EN And he gathered [his people] and called out
فَحَشَرَ فَنَادَىٰ UR
An-Naazi'aat - 24 Page 584
فَقَالَ أَنَا۠ رَبُّكُمُ ٱلْأَعْلَىٰ
EN And said, "I am your most exalted lord."
فَقَالَ أَنَا رَبُّكُمُ الْأَعْلَىٰ UR
An-Naazi'aat - 25 Page 584
فَأَخَذَهُ ٱللَّهُ نَكَالَ ٱلْءَاخِرَةِ وَٱلْأُولَىٰٓ
EN So Allah seized him in exemplary punishment for the last and the first [transgression].
فَأَخَذَهُ اللَّهُ نَكَالَ الْآخِرَةِ وَالْأُولَىٰ UR
An-Naazi'aat - 26 Page 584
إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَعِبْرَةًۭ لِّمَن يَخْشَىٰٓ
EN Indeed in that is a warning for whoever would fear [Allah].
إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَعِبْرَةً لِمَنْ يَخْشَىٰ UR
An-Naazi'aat - 27 Page 584
ءَأَنتُمْ أَشَدُّ خَلْقًا أَمِ ٱلسَّمَآءُ ۚ بَنَىٰهَا
EN Are you a more difficult creation or is the heaven? Allah constructed it.
أَأَنْتُمْ أَشَدُّ خَلْقًا أَمِ السَّمَاءُ ۚ بَنَاهَا UR
An-Naazi'aat - 28 Page 584
رَفَعَ سَمْكَهَا فَسَوَّىٰهَا
EN He raised its ceiling and proportioned it.
رَفَعَ سَمْكَهَا فَسَوَّاهَا UR
An-Naazi'aat - 29 Page 584
وَأَغْطَشَ لَيْلَهَا وَأَخْرَجَ ضُحَىٰهَا
EN And He darkened its night and extracted its brightness.
وَأَغْطَشَ لَيْلَهَا وَأَخْرَجَ ضُحَاهَا UR
An-Naazi'aat - 30 Page 584
وَٱلْأَرْضَ بَعْدَ ذَٰلِكَ دَحَىٰهَآ
EN And after that He spread the earth.
وَالْأَرْضَ بَعْدَ ذَٰلِكَ دَحَاهَا UR
An-Naazi'aat - 31 Page 584
أَخْرَجَ مِنْهَا مَآءَهَا وَمَرْعَىٰهَا
EN He extracted from it its water and its pasture,
أَخْرَجَ مِنْهَا مَاءَهَا وَمَرْعَاهَا UR
An-Naazi'aat - 32 Page 584
وَٱلْجِبَالَ أَرْسَىٰهَا
EN And the mountains He set firmly
وَالْجِبَالَ أَرْسَاهَا UR
An-Naazi'aat - 33 Page 584
مَتَٰعًۭا لَّكُمْ وَلِأَنْعَٰمِكُمْ
EN As provision for you and your grazing livestock.
مَتَاعًا لَكُمْ وَلِأَنْعَامِكُمْ UR
An-Naazi'aat - 34 Page 584
فَإِذَا جَآءَتِ ٱلطَّآمَّةُ ٱلْكُبْرَىٰ
EN But when there comes the greatest Overwhelming Calamity -
فَإِذَا جَاءَتِ الطَّامَّةُ الْكُبْرَىٰ UR
An-Naazi'aat - 35 Page 584
يَوْمَ يَتَذَكَّرُ ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ مَا سَعَىٰ
EN The Day when man will remember that for which he strove,
يَوْمَ يَتَذَكَّرُ الْإِنْسَانُ مَا سَعَىٰ UR
An-Naazi'aat - 36 Page 584
وَبُرِّزَتِ ٱلْجَحِيمُ لِمَن يَرَىٰ
EN And Hellfire will be exposed for [all] those who see -
وَبُرِّزَتِ الْجَحِيمُ لِمَنْ يَرَىٰ UR
An-Naazi'aat - 37 Page 584
فَأَمَّا مَن طَغَىٰ
EN So as for he who transgressed
فَأَمَّا مَنْ طَغَىٰ UR
An-Naazi'aat - 38 Page 584
وَءَاثَرَ ٱلْحَيَوٰةَ ٱلدُّنْيَا
EN And preferred the life of the world,
وَآثَرَ الْحَيَاةَ الدُّنْيَا UR
An-Naazi'aat - 39 Page 584
فَإِنَّ ٱلْجَحِيمَ هِىَ ٱلْمَأْوَىٰ
EN Then indeed, Hellfire will be [his] refuge.
فَإِنَّ الْجَحِيمَ هِيَ الْمَأْوَىٰ UR
An-Naazi'aat - 40 Page 584
وَأَمَّا مَنْ خَافَ مَقَامَ رَبِّهِۦ وَنَهَى ٱلنَّفْسَ عَنِ ٱلْهَوَىٰ
EN But as for he who feared the position of his Lord and prevented the soul from [unlawful] inclination,
وَأَمَّا مَنْ خَافَ مَقَامَ رَبِّهِ وَنَهَى النَّفْسَ عَنِ الْهَوَىٰ UR
An-Naazi'aat - 41 Page 584
فَإِنَّ ٱلْجَنَّةَ هِىَ ٱلْمَأْوَىٰ
EN Then indeed, Paradise will be [his] refuge.
فَإِنَّ الْجَنَّةَ هِيَ الْمَأْوَىٰ UR
An-Naazi'aat - 42 Page 584
يَسْـَٔلُونَكَ عَنِ ٱلسَّاعَةِ أَيَّانَ مُرْسَىٰهَا
EN They ask you, [O Muhammad], about the Hour: when is its arrival?
يَسْأَلُونَكَ عَنِ السَّاعَةِ أَيَّانَ مُرْسَاهَا UR
An-Naazi'aat - 43 Page 584
فِيمَ أَنتَ مِن ذِكْرَىٰهَآ
EN In what [position] are you that you should mention it?
فِيمَ أَنْتَ مِنْ ذِكْرَاهَا UR
An-Naazi'aat - 44 Page 584
إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ مُنتَهَىٰهَآ
EN To your Lord is its finality.
إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ مُنْتَهَاهَا UR
An-Naazi'aat - 45 Page 584
إِنَّمَآ أَنتَ مُنذِرُ مَن يَخْشَىٰهَا
EN You are only a warner for those who fear it.
إِنَّمَا أَنْتَ مُنْذِرُ مَنْ يَخْشَاهَا UR
An-Naazi'aat - 46 Page 584
كَأَنَّهُمْ يَوْمَ يَرَوْنَهَا لَمْ يَلْبَثُوٓا۟ إِلَّا عَشِيَّةً أَوْ ضُحَىٰهَا
EN It will be, on the Day they see it, as though they had not remained [in the world] except for an afternoon or a morning thereof.
كَأَنَّهُمْ يَوْمَ يَرَوْنَهَا لَمْ يَلْبَثُوا إِلَّا عَشِيَّةً أَوْ ضُحَاهَا UR
Abasa - 1 Page 585
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ عَبَسَ وَتَوَلَّىٰٓ
EN The Prophet frowned and turned away
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ عَبَسَ وَتَوَلَّىٰ UR
Abasa - 2 Page 585
أَن جَآءَهُ ٱلْأَعْمَىٰ
EN Because there came to him the blind man, [interrupting].
أَنْ جَاءَهُ الْأَعْمَىٰ UR
Abasa - 3 Page 585
وَمَا يُدْرِيكَ لَعَلَّهُۥ يَزَّكَّىٰٓ
EN But what would make you perceive, [O Muhammad], that perhaps he might be purified
وَمَا يُدْرِيكَ لَعَلَّهُ يَزَّكَّىٰ UR
Abasa - 4 Page 585
أَوْ يَذَّكَّرُ فَتَنفَعَهُ ٱلذِّكْرَىٰٓ
EN Or be reminded and the remembrance would benefit him?
أَوْ يَذَّكَّرُ فَتَنْفَعَهُ الذِّكْرَىٰ UR
Abasa - 5 Page 585
أَمَّا مَنِ ٱسْتَغْنَىٰ
EN As for he who thinks himself without need,
أَمَّا مَنِ اسْتَغْنَىٰ UR
Abasa - 6 Page 585
فَأَنتَ لَهُۥ تَصَدَّىٰ
EN To him you give attention.
فَأَنْتَ لَهُ تَصَدَّىٰ UR
Abasa - 7 Page 585
وَمَا عَلَيْكَ أَلَّا يَزَّكَّىٰ
EN And not upon you [is any blame] if he will not be purified.
وَمَا عَلَيْكَ أَلَّا يَزَّكَّىٰ UR
Abasa - 8 Page 585
وَأَمَّا مَن جَآءَكَ يَسْعَىٰ
EN But as for he who came to you striving [for knowledge]
وَأَمَّا مَنْ جَاءَكَ يَسْعَىٰ UR
Abasa - 9 Page 585
وَهُوَ يَخْشَىٰ
EN While he fears [Allah],
وَهُوَ يَخْشَىٰ UR
Abasa - 10 Page 585
فَأَنتَ عَنْهُ تَلَهَّىٰ
EN From him you are distracted.
فَأَنْتَ عَنْهُ تَلَهَّىٰ UR
Abasa - 11 Page 585
كَلَّآ إِنَّهَا تَذْكِرَةٌۭ
EN No! Indeed, these verses are a reminder;
كَلَّا إِنَّهَا تَذْكِرَةٌ UR
Abasa - 12 Page 585
فَمَن شَآءَ ذَكَرَهُۥ
EN So whoever wills may remember it.
فَمَنْ شَاءَ ذَكَرَهُ UR
Abasa - 13 Page 585
فِى صُحُفٍۢ مُّكَرَّمَةٍۢ
EN [It is recorded] in honored sheets,
فِي صُحُفٍ مُكَرَّمَةٍ UR
Abasa - 14 Page 585
مَّرْفُوعَةٍۢ مُّطَهَّرَةٍۭ
EN Exalted and purified,
مَرْفُوعَةٍ مُطَهَّرَةٍ UR
Abasa - 15 Page 585
بِأَيْدِى سَفَرَةٍۢ
EN [Carried] by the hands of messenger-angels,
بِأَيْدِي سَفَرَةٍ UR
Abasa - 16 Page 585
كِرَامٍۭ بَرَرَةٍۢ
EN Noble and dutiful.
كِرَامٍ بَرَرَةٍ UR
Abasa - 17 Page 585
قُتِلَ ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ مَآ أَكْفَرَهُۥ
EN Cursed is man; how disbelieving is he.
قُتِلَ الْإِنْسَانُ مَا أَكْفَرَهُ UR
Abasa - 18 Page 585
مِنْ أَىِّ شَىْءٍ خَلَقَهُۥ
EN From what substance did He create him?
مِنْ أَيِّ شَيْءٍ خَلَقَهُ UR
Abasa - 19 Page 585
مِن نُّطْفَةٍ خَلَقَهُۥ فَقَدَّرَهُۥ
EN From a sperm-drop He created him and destined for him;
مِنْ نُطْفَةٍ خَلَقَهُ فَقَدَّرَهُ UR
Abasa - 20 Page 585
ثُمَّ ٱلسَّبِيلَ يَسَّرَهُۥ
EN Then He eased the way for him;
ثُمَّ السَّبِيلَ يَسَّرَهُ UR
Abasa - 21 Page 585
ثُمَّ أَمَاتَهُۥ فَأَقْبَرَهُۥ
EN Then He causes his death and provides a grave for him.
ثُمَّ أَمَاتَهُ فَأَقْبَرَهُ UR
Abasa - 22 Page 585
ثُمَّ إِذَا شَآءَ أَنشَرَهُۥ
EN Then when He wills, He will resurrect him.
ثُمَّ إِذَا شَاءَ أَنْشَرَهُ UR
Abasa - 23 Page 585
كَلَّا لَمَّا يَقْضِ مَآ أَمَرَهُۥ
EN No! Man has not yet accomplished what He commanded him.
كَلَّا لَمَّا يَقْضِ مَا أَمَرَهُ UR
Abasa - 24 Page 585
فَلْيَنظُرِ ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ إِلَىٰ طَعَامِهِۦٓ
EN Then let mankind look at his food -
فَلْيَنْظُرِ الْإِنْسَانُ إِلَىٰ طَعَامِهِ UR
Abasa - 25 Page 585
أَنَّا صَبَبْنَا ٱلْمَآءَ صَبًّۭا
EN How We poured down water in torrents,
أَنَّا صَبَبْنَا الْمَاءَ صَبًّا UR
Abasa - 26 Page 585
ثُمَّ شَقَقْنَا ٱلْأَرْضَ شَقًّۭا
EN Then We broke open the earth, splitting [it with sprouts],
ثُمَّ شَقَقْنَا الْأَرْضَ شَقًّا UR
Abasa - 27 Page 585
فَأَنۢبَتْنَا فِيهَا حَبًّۭا
EN And caused to grow within it grain
فَأَنْبَتْنَا فِيهَا حَبًّا UR
Abasa - 28 Page 585
وَعِنَبًۭا وَقَضْبًۭا
EN And grapes and herbage
وَعِنَبًا وَقَضْبًا UR
Abasa - 29 Page 585
وَزَيْتُونًۭا وَنَخْلًۭا
EN And olive and palm trees
وَزَيْتُونًا وَنَخْلًا UR
Abasa - 30 Page 585
وَحَدَآئِقَ غُلْبًۭا
EN And gardens of dense shrubbery
وَحَدَائِقَ غُلْبًا UR
Abasa - 31 Page 585
وَفَٰكِهَةًۭ وَأَبًّۭا
EN And fruit and grass -
وَفَاكِهَةً وَأَبًّا UR
Abasa - 32 Page 585
مَّتَٰعًۭا لَّكُمْ وَلِأَنْعَٰمِكُمْ
EN [As] enjoyment for you and your grazing livestock.
مَتَاعًا لَكُمْ وَلِأَنْعَامِكُمْ UR
Abasa - 33 Page 585
فَإِذَا جَآءَتِ ٱلصَّآخَّةُ
EN But when there comes the Deafening Blast
فَإِذَا جَاءَتِ الصَّاخَّةُ UR
Abasa - 34 Page 585
يَوْمَ يَفِرُّ ٱلْمَرْءُ مِنْ أَخِيهِ
EN On the Day a man will flee from his brother
يَوْمَ يَفِرُّ الْمَرْءُ مِنْ أَخِيهِ UR
Abasa - 35 Page 585
وَأُمِّهِۦ وَأَبِيهِ
EN And his mother and his father
وَأُمِّهِ وَأَبِيهِ UR
Abasa - 36 Page 585
وَصَٰحِبَتِهِۦ وَبَنِيهِ
EN And his wife and his children,
وَصَاحِبَتِهِ وَبَنِيهِ UR
Abasa - 37 Page 585
لِكُلِّ ٱمْرِئٍۢ مِّنْهُمْ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ شَأْنٌۭ يُغْنِيهِ
EN For every man, that Day, will be a matter adequate for him.
لِكُلِّ امْرِئٍ مِنْهُمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ شَأْنٌ يُغْنِيهِ UR
Abasa - 38 Page 585
وُجُوهٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ مُّسْفِرَةٌۭ
EN [Some] faces, that Day, will be bright -
وُجُوهٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ مُسْفِرَةٌ UR
Abasa - 39 Page 585
ضَاحِكَةٌۭ مُّسْتَبْشِرَةٌۭ
EN Laughing, rejoicing at good news.
ضَاحِكَةٌ مُسْتَبْشِرَةٌ UR
Abasa - 40 Page 585
وَوُجُوهٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍ عَلَيْهَا غَبَرَةٌۭ
EN And [other] faces, that Day, will have upon them dust.
وَوُجُوهٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ عَلَيْهَا غَبَرَةٌ UR
Abasa - 41 Page 585
تَرْهَقُهَا قَتَرَةٌ
EN Blackness will cover them.
تَرْهَقُهَا قَتَرَةٌ UR
Abasa - 42 Page 585
أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْكَفَرَةُ ٱلْفَجَرَةُ
EN Those are the disbelievers, the wicked ones.
أُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الْكَفَرَةُ الْفَجَرَةُ UR
At-Takwir - 1 Page 586
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ إِذَا ٱلشَّمْسُ كُوِّرَتْ
EN When the sun is wrapped up [in darkness]
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ إِذَا الشَّمْسُ كُوِّرَتْ UR
At-Takwir - 2 Page 586
وَإِذَا ٱلنُّجُومُ ٱنكَدَرَتْ
EN And when the stars fall, dispersing,
وَإِذَا النُّجُومُ انْكَدَرَتْ UR
At-Takwir - 3 Page 586
وَإِذَا ٱلْجِبَالُ سُيِّرَتْ
EN And when the mountains are removed
وَإِذَا الْجِبَالُ سُيِّرَتْ UR
At-Takwir - 4 Page 586
وَإِذَا ٱلْعِشَارُ عُطِّلَتْ
EN And when full-term she-camels are neglected
وَإِذَا الْعِشَارُ عُطِّلَتْ UR
At-Takwir - 5 Page 586
وَإِذَا ٱلْوُحُوشُ حُشِرَتْ
EN And when the wild beasts are gathered
وَإِذَا الْوُحُوشُ حُشِرَتْ UR
At-Takwir - 6 Page 586
وَإِذَا ٱلْبِحَارُ سُجِّرَتْ
EN And when the seas are filled with flame
وَإِذَا الْبِحَارُ سُجِّرَتْ UR
At-Takwir - 7 Page 586
وَإِذَا ٱلنُّفُوسُ زُوِّجَتْ
EN And when the souls are paired
وَإِذَا النُّفُوسُ زُوِّجَتْ UR
At-Takwir - 8 Page 586
وَإِذَا ٱلْمَوْءُۥدَةُ سُئِلَتْ
EN And when the girl [who was] buried alive is asked
وَإِذَا الْمَوْءُودَةُ سُئِلَتْ UR
At-Takwir - 9 Page 586
بِأَىِّ ذَنۢبٍۢ قُتِلَتْ
EN For what sin she was killed
بِأَيِّ ذَنْبٍ قُتِلَتْ UR
At-Takwir - 10 Page 586
وَإِذَا ٱلصُّحُفُ نُشِرَتْ
EN And when the pages are made public
وَإِذَا الصُّحُفُ نُشِرَتْ UR
At-Takwir - 11 Page 586
وَإِذَا ٱلسَّمَآءُ كُشِطَتْ
EN And when the sky is stripped away
وَإِذَا السَّمَاءُ كُشِطَتْ UR
At-Takwir - 12 Page 586
وَإِذَا ٱلْجَحِيمُ سُعِّرَتْ
EN And when Hellfire is set ablaze
وَإِذَا الْجَحِيمُ سُعِّرَتْ UR
At-Takwir - 13 Page 586
وَإِذَا ٱلْجَنَّةُ أُزْلِفَتْ
EN And when Paradise is brought near,
وَإِذَا الْجَنَّةُ أُزْلِفَتْ UR
At-Takwir - 14 Page 586
عَلِمَتْ نَفْسٌۭ مَّآ أَحْضَرَتْ
EN A soul will [then] know what it has brought [with it].
عَلِمَتْ نَفْسٌ مَا أَحْضَرَتْ UR
At-Takwir - 15 Page 586
فَلَآ أُقْسِمُ بِٱلْخُنَّسِ
EN So I swear by the retreating stars -
فَلَا أُقْسِمُ بِالْخُنَّسِ UR
At-Takwir - 16 Page 586
ٱلْجَوَارِ ٱلْكُنَّسِ
EN Those that run [their courses] and disappear -
الْجَوَارِ الْكُنَّسِ UR
At-Takwir - 17 Page 586
وَٱلَّيْلِ إِذَا عَسْعَسَ
EN And by the night as it closes in
وَاللَّيْلِ إِذَا عَسْعَسَ UR
At-Takwir - 18 Page 586
وَٱلصُّبْحِ إِذَا تَنَفَّسَ
EN And by the dawn when it breathes
وَالصُّبْحِ إِذَا تَنَفَّسَ UR
At-Takwir - 19 Page 586
إِنَّهُۥ لَقَوْلُ رَسُولٍۢ كَرِيمٍۢ
EN [That] indeed, the Qur'an is a word [conveyed by] a noble messenger
إِنَّهُ لَقَوْلُ رَسُولٍ كَرِيمٍ UR
At-Takwir - 20 Page 586
ذِى قُوَّةٍ عِندَ ذِى ٱلْعَرْشِ مَكِينٍۢ
EN [Who is] possessed of power and with the Owner of the Throne, secure [in position],
ذِي قُوَّةٍ عِنْدَ ذِي الْعَرْشِ مَكِينٍ UR
At-Takwir - 21 Page 586
مُّطَاعٍۢ ثَمَّ أَمِينٍۢ
EN Obeyed there [in the heavens] and trustworthy.
مُطَاعٍ ثَمَّ أَمِينٍ UR
At-Takwir - 22 Page 586
وَمَا صَاحِبُكُم بِمَجْنُونٍۢ
EN And your companion is not [at all] mad.
وَمَا صَاحِبُكُمْ بِمَجْنُونٍ UR
At-Takwir - 23 Page 586
وَلَقَدْ رَءَاهُ بِٱلْأُفُقِ ٱلْمُبِينِ
EN And he has already seen Gabriel in the clear horizon.
وَلَقَدْ رَآهُ بِالْأُفُقِ الْمُبِينِ UR
At-Takwir - 24 Page 586
وَمَا هُوَ عَلَى ٱلْغَيْبِ بِضَنِينٍۢ
EN And Muhammad is not a withholder of [knowledge of] the unseen.
وَمَا هُوَ عَلَى الْغَيْبِ بِضَنِينٍ UR
At-Takwir - 25 Page 586
وَمَا هُوَ بِقَوْلِ شَيْطَٰنٍۢ رَّجِيمٍۢ
EN And the Qur'an is not the word of a devil, expelled [from the heavens].
وَمَا هُوَ بِقَوْلِ شَيْطَانٍ رَجِيمٍ UR
At-Takwir - 26 Page 586
فَأَيْنَ تَذْهَبُونَ
EN So where are you going?
فَأَيْنَ تَذْهَبُونَ UR
At-Takwir - 27 Page 586
إِنْ هُوَ إِلَّا ذِكْرٌۭ لِّلْعَٰلَمِينَ
EN It is not except a reminder to the worlds
إِنْ هُوَ إِلَّا ذِكْرٌ لِلْعَالَمِينَ UR
At-Takwir - 28 Page 586
لِمَن شَآءَ مِنكُمْ أَن يَسْتَقِيمَ
EN For whoever wills among you to take a right course.
لِمَنْ شَاءَ مِنْكُمْ أَنْ يَسْتَقِيمَ UR
At-Takwir - 29 Page 586
وَمَا تَشَآءُونَ إِلَّآ أَن يَشَآءَ ٱللَّهُ رَبُّ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ
EN And you do not will except that Allah wills - Lord of the worlds.
وَمَا تَشَاءُونَ إِلَّا أَنْ يَشَاءَ اللَّهُ رَبُّ الْعَالَمِينَ UR
Al-Infitaar - 1 Page 587
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ إِذَا ٱلسَّمَآءُ ٱنفَطَرَتْ
EN When the sky breaks apart
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ إِذَا السَّمَاءُ انْفَطَرَتْ UR
Al-Infitaar - 2 Page 587
وَإِذَا ٱلْكَوَاكِبُ ٱنتَثَرَتْ
EN And when the stars fall, scattering,
وَإِذَا الْكَوَاكِبُ انْتَثَرَتْ UR
Al-Infitaar - 3 Page 587
وَإِذَا ٱلْبِحَارُ فُجِّرَتْ
EN And when the seas are erupted
وَإِذَا الْبِحَارُ فُجِّرَتْ UR
Al-Infitaar - 4 Page 587
وَإِذَا ٱلْقُبُورُ بُعْثِرَتْ
EN And when the [contents of] graves are scattered,
وَإِذَا الْقُبُورُ بُعْثِرَتْ UR
Al-Infitaar - 5 Page 587
عَلِمَتْ نَفْسٌۭ مَّا قَدَّمَتْ وَأَخَّرَتْ
EN A soul will [then] know what it has put forth and kept back.
عَلِمَتْ نَفْسٌ مَا قَدَّمَتْ وَأَخَّرَتْ UR
Al-Infitaar - 6 Page 587
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ مَا غَرَّكَ بِرَبِّكَ ٱلْكَرِيمِ
EN O mankind, what has deceived you concerning your Lord, the Generous,
يَا أَيُّهَا الْإِنْسَانُ مَا غَرَّكَ بِرَبِّكَ الْكَرِيمِ UR
Al-Infitaar - 7 Page 587
ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَكَ فَسَوَّىٰكَ فَعَدَلَكَ
EN Who created you, proportioned you, and balanced you?
الَّذِي خَلَقَكَ فَسَوَّاكَ فَعَدَلَكَ UR
Al-Infitaar - 8 Page 587
فِىٓ أَىِّ صُورَةٍۢ مَّا شَآءَ رَكَّبَكَ
EN In whatever form He willed has He assembled you.
فِي أَيِّ صُورَةٍ مَا شَاءَ رَكَّبَكَ UR
Al-Infitaar - 9 Page 587
كَلَّا بَلْ تُكَذِّبُونَ بِٱلدِّينِ
EN No! But you deny the Recompense.
كَلَّا بَلْ تُكَذِّبُونَ بِالدِّينِ UR
Al-Infitaar - 10 Page 587
وَإِنَّ عَلَيْكُمْ لَحَٰفِظِينَ
EN And indeed, [appointed] over you are keepers,
وَإِنَّ عَلَيْكُمْ لَحَافِظِينَ UR
Al-Infitaar - 11 Page 587
كِرَامًۭا كَٰتِبِينَ
EN Noble and recording;
كِرَامًا كَاتِبِينَ UR
Al-Infitaar - 12 Page 587
يَعْلَمُونَ مَا تَفْعَلُونَ
EN They know whatever you do.
يَعْلَمُونَ مَا تَفْعَلُونَ UR
Al-Infitaar - 13 Page 587
إِنَّ ٱلْأَبْرَارَ لَفِى نَعِيمٍۢ
EN Indeed, the righteous will be in pleasure,
إِنَّ الْأَبْرَارَ لَفِي نَعِيمٍ UR
Al-Infitaar - 14 Page 587
وَإِنَّ ٱلْفُجَّارَ لَفِى جَحِيمٍۢ
EN And indeed, the wicked will be in Hellfire.
وَإِنَّ الْفُجَّارَ لَفِي جَحِيمٍ UR
Al-Infitaar - 15 Page 587
يَصْلَوْنَهَا يَوْمَ ٱلدِّينِ
EN They will [enter to] burn therein on the Day of Recompense,
يَصْلَوْنَهَا يَوْمَ الدِّينِ UR
Al-Infitaar - 16 Page 587
وَمَا هُمْ عَنْهَا بِغَآئِبِينَ
EN And never therefrom will they be absent.
وَمَا هُمْ عَنْهَا بِغَائِبِينَ UR
Al-Infitaar - 17 Page 587
وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا يَوْمُ ٱلدِّينِ
EN And what can make you know what is the Day of Recompense?
وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا يَوْمُ الدِّينِ UR
Al-Infitaar - 18 Page 587
ثُمَّ مَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا يَوْمُ ٱلدِّينِ
EN Then, what can make you know what is the Day of Recompense?
ثُمَّ مَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا يَوْمُ الدِّينِ UR
Al-Infitaar - 19 Page 587
يَوْمَ لَا تَمْلِكُ نَفْسٌۭ لِّنَفْسٍۢ شَيْـًۭٔا ۖ وَٱلْأَمْرُ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ لِّلَّهِ
EN It is the Day when a soul will not possess for another soul [power to do] a thing; and the command, that Day, is [entirely] with Allah.
يَوْمَ لَا تَمْلِكُ نَفْسٌ لِنَفْسٍ شَيْئًا ۖ وَالْأَمْرُ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِلَّهِ UR
Al-Mutaffifin - 1 Page 587
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ وَيْلٌۭ لِّلْمُطَفِّفِينَ
EN Woe to those who give less [than due],
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ وَيْلٌ لِلْمُطَفِّفِينَ UR
Al-Mutaffifin - 2 Page 587
ٱلَّذِينَ إِذَا ٱكْتَالُوا۟ عَلَى ٱلنَّاسِ يَسْتَوْفُونَ
EN Who, when they take a measure from people, take in full.
الَّذِينَ إِذَا اكْتَالُوا عَلَى النَّاسِ يَسْتَوْفُونَ UR
Al-Mutaffifin - 3 Page 587
وَإِذَا كَالُوهُمْ أَو وَّزَنُوهُمْ يُخْسِرُونَ
EN But if they give by measure or by weight to them, they cause loss.
وَإِذَا كَالُوهُمْ أَوْ وَزَنُوهُمْ يُخْسِرُونَ UR
Al-Mutaffifin - 4 Page 587
أَلَا يَظُنُّ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ أَنَّهُم مَّبْعُوثُونَ
EN Do they not think that they will be resurrected
أَلَا يَظُنُّ أُولَٰئِكَ أَنَّهُمْ مَبْعُوثُونَ UR
Al-Mutaffifin - 5 Page 587
لِيَوْمٍ عَظِيمٍۢ
EN For a tremendous Day -
لِيَوْمٍ عَظِيمٍ UR
Al-Mutaffifin - 6 Page 587
يَوْمَ يَقُومُ ٱلنَّاسُ لِرَبِّ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ
EN The Day when mankind will stand before the Lord of the worlds?
يَوْمَ يَقُومُ النَّاسُ لِرَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ UR
Al-Mutaffifin - 7 Page 588
كَلَّآ إِنَّ كِتَٰبَ ٱلْفُجَّارِ لَفِى سِجِّينٍۢ
EN No! Indeed, the record of the wicked is in sijjeen.
كَلَّا إِنَّ كِتَابَ الْفُجَّارِ لَفِي سِجِّينٍ UR
Al-Mutaffifin - 8 Page 588
وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا سِجِّينٌۭ
EN And what can make you know what is sijjeen?
وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا سِجِّينٌ UR
Al-Mutaffifin - 9 Page 588
كِتَٰبٌۭ مَّرْقُومٌۭ
EN It is [their destination recorded in] a register inscribed.
كِتَابٌ مَرْقُومٌ UR
Al-Mutaffifin - 10 Page 588
وَيْلٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
EN Woe, that Day, to the deniers,
وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِلْمُكَذِّبِينَ UR
Al-Mutaffifin - 11 Page 588
ٱلَّذِينَ يُكَذِّبُونَ بِيَوْمِ ٱلدِّينِ
EN Who deny the Day of Recompense.
الَّذِينَ يُكَذِّبُونَ بِيَوْمِ الدِّينِ UR
Al-Mutaffifin - 12 Page 588
وَمَا يُكَذِّبُ بِهِۦٓ إِلَّا كُلُّ مُعْتَدٍ أَثِيمٍ
EN And none deny it except every sinful transgressor.
وَمَا يُكَذِّبُ بِهِ إِلَّا كُلُّ مُعْتَدٍ أَثِيمٍ UR
Al-Mutaffifin - 13 Page 588
إِذَا تُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْهِ ءَايَٰتُنَا قَالَ أَسَٰطِيرُ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ
EN When Our verses are recited to him, he says, "Legends of the former peoples."
إِذَا تُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْهِ آيَاتُنَا قَالَ أَسَاطِيرُ الْأَوَّلِينَ UR
Al-Mutaffifin - 14 Page 588
كَلَّا ۖ بَلْ ۜ رَانَ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِم مَّا كَانُوا۟ يَكْسِبُونَ
EN No! Rather, the stain has covered their hearts of that which they were earning.
كَلَّا ۖ بَلْ ۜ رَانَ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِمْ مَا كَانُوا يَكْسِبُونَ UR
Al-Mutaffifin - 15 Page 588
كَلَّآ إِنَّهُمْ عَن رَّبِّهِمْ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ لَّمَحْجُوبُونَ
EN No! Indeed, from their Lord, that Day, they will be partitioned.
كَلَّا إِنَّهُمْ عَنْ رَبِّهِمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ لَمَحْجُوبُونَ UR
Al-Mutaffifin - 16 Page 588
ثُمَّ إِنَّهُمْ لَصَالُوا۟ ٱلْجَحِيمِ
EN Then indeed, they will [enter and] burn in Hellfire.
ثُمَّ إِنَّهُمْ لَصَالُو الْجَحِيمِ UR
Al-Mutaffifin - 17 Page 588
ثُمَّ يُقَالُ هَٰذَا ٱلَّذِى كُنتُم بِهِۦ تُكَذِّبُونَ
EN Then it will be said [to them], "This is what you used to deny."
ثُمَّ يُقَالُ هَٰذَا الَّذِي كُنْتُمْ بِهِ تُكَذِّبُونَ UR
Al-Mutaffifin - 18 Page 588
كَلَّآ إِنَّ كِتَٰبَ ٱلْأَبْرَارِ لَفِى عِلِّيِّينَ
EN No! Indeed, the record of the righteous is in 'illiyyun.
كَلَّا إِنَّ كِتَابَ الْأَبْرَارِ لَفِي عِلِّيِّينَ UR
Al-Mutaffifin - 19 Page 588
وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا عِلِّيُّونَ
EN And what can make you know what is 'illiyyun?
وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا عِلِّيُّونَ UR
Al-Mutaffifin - 20 Page 588
كِتَٰبٌۭ مَّرْقُومٌۭ
EN It is [their destination recorded in] a register inscribed
كِتَابٌ مَرْقُومٌ UR
Al-Mutaffifin - 21 Page 588
يَشْهَدُهُ ٱلْمُقَرَّبُونَ
EN Which is witnessed by those brought near [to Allah].
يَشْهَدُهُ الْمُقَرَّبُونَ UR
Al-Mutaffifin - 22 Page 588
إِنَّ ٱلْأَبْرَارَ لَفِى نَعِيمٍ
EN Indeed, the righteous will be in pleasure
إِنَّ الْأَبْرَارَ لَفِي نَعِيمٍ UR
Al-Mutaffifin - 23 Page 588
عَلَى ٱلْأَرَآئِكِ يَنظُرُونَ
EN On adorned couches, observing.
عَلَى الْأَرَائِكِ يَنْظُرُونَ UR
Al-Mutaffifin - 24 Page 588
تَعْرِفُ فِى وُجُوهِهِمْ نَضْرَةَ ٱلنَّعِيمِ
EN You will recognize in their faces the radiance of pleasure.
تَعْرِفُ فِي وُجُوهِهِمْ نَضْرَةَ النَّعِيمِ UR
Al-Mutaffifin - 25 Page 588
يُسْقَوْنَ مِن رَّحِيقٍۢ مَّخْتُومٍ
EN They will be given to drink [pure] wine [which was] sealed.
يُسْقَوْنَ مِنْ رَحِيقٍ مَخْتُومٍ UR
Al-Mutaffifin - 26 Page 588
خِتَٰمُهُۥ مِسْكٌۭ ۚ وَفِى ذَٰلِكَ فَلْيَتَنَافَسِ ٱلْمُتَنَٰفِسُونَ
EN The last of it is musk. So for this let the competitors compete.
خِتَامُهُ مِسْكٌ ۚ وَفِي ذَٰلِكَ فَلْيَتَنَافَسِ الْمُتَنَافِسُونَ UR
Al-Mutaffifin - 27 Page 588
وَمِزَاجُهُۥ مِن تَسْنِيمٍ
EN And its mixture is of Tasneem,
وَمِزَاجُهُ مِنْ تَسْنِيمٍ UR
Al-Mutaffifin - 28 Page 588
عَيْنًۭا يَشْرَبُ بِهَا ٱلْمُقَرَّبُونَ
EN A spring from which those near [to Allah] drink.
عَيْنًا يَشْرَبُ بِهَا الْمُقَرَّبُونَ UR
Al-Mutaffifin - 29 Page 588
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ أَجْرَمُوا۟ كَانُوا۟ مِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ يَضْحَكُونَ
EN Indeed, those who committed crimes used to laugh at those who believed.
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ أَجْرَمُوا كَانُوا مِنَ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا يَضْحَكُونَ UR
Al-Mutaffifin - 30 Page 588
وَإِذَا مَرُّوا۟ بِهِمْ يَتَغَامَزُونَ
EN And when they passed by them, they would exchange derisive glances.
وَإِذَا مَرُّوا بِهِمْ يَتَغَامَزُونَ UR
Al-Mutaffifin - 31 Page 588
وَإِذَا ٱنقَلَبُوٓا۟ إِلَىٰٓ أَهْلِهِمُ ٱنقَلَبُوا۟ فَكِهِينَ
EN And when they returned to their people, they would return jesting.
وَإِذَا انْقَلَبُوا إِلَىٰ أَهْلِهِمُ انْقَلَبُوا فَكِهِينَ UR
Al-Mutaffifin - 32 Page 588
وَإِذَا رَأَوْهُمْ قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ لَضَآلُّونَ
EN And when they saw them, they would say, "Indeed, those are truly lost."
وَإِذَا رَأَوْهُمْ قَالُوا إِنَّ هَٰؤُلَاءِ لَضَالُّونَ UR
Al-Mutaffifin - 33 Page 588
وَمَآ أُرْسِلُوا۟ عَلَيْهِمْ حَٰفِظِينَ
EN But they had not been sent as guardians over them.
وَمَا أُرْسِلُوا عَلَيْهِمْ حَافِظِينَ UR
Al-Mutaffifin - 34 Page 588
فَٱلْيَوْمَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ مِنَ ٱلْكُفَّارِ يَضْحَكُونَ
EN So Today those who believed are laughing at the disbelievers,
فَالْيَوْمَ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا مِنَ الْكُفَّارِ يَضْحَكُونَ UR
Al-Mutaffifin - 35 Page 589
عَلَى ٱلْأَرَآئِكِ يَنظُرُونَ
EN On adorned couches, observing.
عَلَى الْأَرَائِكِ يَنْظُرُونَ UR
Al-Mutaffifin - 36 Page 589
هَلْ ثُوِّبَ ٱلْكُفَّارُ مَا كَانُوا۟ يَفْعَلُونَ
EN Have the disbelievers [not] been rewarded [this Day] for what they used to do?
هَلْ ثُوِّبَ الْكُفَّارُ مَا كَانُوا يَفْعَلُونَ UR
Al-Inshiqaaq - 1 Page 589
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ إِذَا ٱلسَّمَآءُ ٱنشَقَّتْ
EN When the sky has split [open]
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ إِذَا السَّمَاءُ انْشَقَّتْ UR
Al-Inshiqaaq - 2 Page 589
وَأَذِنَتْ لِرَبِّهَا وَحُقَّتْ
EN And has responded to its Lord and was obligated [to do so]
وَأَذِنَتْ لِرَبِّهَا وَحُقَّتْ UR
Al-Inshiqaaq - 3 Page 589
وَإِذَا ٱلْأَرْضُ مُدَّتْ
EN And when the earth has been extended
وَإِذَا الْأَرْضُ مُدَّتْ UR
Al-Inshiqaaq - 4 Page 589
وَأَلْقَتْ مَا فِيهَا وَتَخَلَّتْ
EN And has cast out that within it and relinquished [it]
وَأَلْقَتْ مَا فِيهَا وَتَخَلَّتْ UR
Al-Inshiqaaq - 5 Page 589
وَأَذِنَتْ لِرَبِّهَا وَحُقَّتْ
EN And has responded to its Lord and was obligated [to do so] -
وَأَذِنَتْ لِرَبِّهَا وَحُقَّتْ UR
Al-Inshiqaaq - 6 Page 589
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ إِنَّكَ كَادِحٌ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ كَدْحًۭا فَمُلَٰقِيهِ
EN O mankind, indeed you are laboring toward your Lord with [great] exertion and will meet it.
يَا أَيُّهَا الْإِنْسَانُ إِنَّكَ كَادِحٌ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ كَدْحًا فَمُلَاقِيهِ UR
Al-Inshiqaaq - 7 Page 589
فَأَمَّا مَنْ أُوتِىَ كِتَٰبَهُۥ بِيَمِينِهِۦ
EN Then as for he who is given his record in his right hand,
فَأَمَّا مَنْ أُوتِيَ كِتَابَهُ بِيَمِينِهِ UR
Al-Inshiqaaq - 8 Page 589
فَسَوْفَ يُحَاسَبُ حِسَابًۭا يَسِيرًۭا
EN He will be judged with an easy account
فَسَوْفَ يُحَاسَبُ حِسَابًا يَسِيرًا UR
Al-Inshiqaaq - 9 Page 589
وَيَنقَلِبُ إِلَىٰٓ أَهْلِهِۦ مَسْرُورًۭا
EN And return to his people in happiness.
وَيَنْقَلِبُ إِلَىٰ أَهْلِهِ مَسْرُورًا UR
Al-Inshiqaaq - 10 Page 589
وَأَمَّا مَنْ أُوتِىَ كِتَٰبَهُۥ وَرَآءَ ظَهْرِهِۦ
EN But as for he who is given his record behind his back,
وَأَمَّا مَنْ أُوتِيَ كِتَابَهُ وَرَاءَ ظَهْرِهِ UR
Al-Inshiqaaq - 11 Page 589
فَسَوْفَ يَدْعُوا۟ ثُبُورًۭا
EN He will cry out for destruction
فَسَوْفَ يَدْعُو ثُبُورًا UR
Al-Inshiqaaq - 12 Page 589
وَيَصْلَىٰ سَعِيرًا
EN And [enter to] burn in a Blaze.
وَيَصْلَىٰ سَعِيرًا UR
Al-Inshiqaaq - 13 Page 589
إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ فِىٓ أَهْلِهِۦ مَسْرُورًا
EN Indeed, he had [once] been among his people in happiness;
إِنَّهُ كَانَ فِي أَهْلِهِ مَسْرُورًا UR
Al-Inshiqaaq - 14 Page 589
إِنَّهُۥ ظَنَّ أَن لَّن يَحُورَ
EN Indeed, he had thought he would never return [to Allah].
إِنَّهُ ظَنَّ أَنْ لَنْ يَحُورَ UR
Al-Inshiqaaq - 15 Page 589
بَلَىٰٓ إِنَّ رَبَّهُۥ كَانَ بِهِۦ بَصِيرًۭا
EN But yes! Indeed, his Lord was ever of him, Seeing.
بَلَىٰ إِنَّ رَبَّهُ كَانَ بِهِ بَصِيرًا UR
Al-Inshiqaaq - 16 Page 589
فَلَآ أُقْسِمُ بِٱلشَّفَقِ
EN So I swear by the twilight glow
فَلَا أُقْسِمُ بِالشَّفَقِ UR
Al-Inshiqaaq - 17 Page 589
وَٱلَّيْلِ وَمَا وَسَقَ
EN And [by] the night and what it envelops
وَاللَّيْلِ وَمَا وَسَقَ UR
Al-Inshiqaaq - 18 Page 589
وَٱلْقَمَرِ إِذَا ٱتَّسَقَ
EN And [by] the moon when it becomes full
وَالْقَمَرِ إِذَا اتَّسَقَ UR
Al-Inshiqaaq - 19 Page 589
لَتَرْكَبُنَّ طَبَقًا عَن طَبَقٍۢ
EN [That] you will surely experience state after state.
لَتَرْكَبُنَّ طَبَقًا عَنْ طَبَقٍ UR
Al-Inshiqaaq - 20 Page 589
فَمَا لَهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ
EN So what is [the matter] with them [that] they do not believe,
فَمَا لَهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ UR
Al-Inshiqaaq - 21 Page 589
وَإِذَا قُرِئَ عَلَيْهِمُ ٱلْقُرْءَانُ لَا يَسْجُدُونَ ۩
EN And when the Qur'an is recited to them, they do not prostrate [to Allah]?
وَإِذَا قُرِئَ عَلَيْهِمُ الْقُرْآنُ لَا يَسْجُدُونَ ۩ UR
Al-Inshiqaaq - 22 Page 589
بَلِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ يُكَذِّبُونَ
EN But those who have disbelieved deny,
بَلِ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا يُكَذِّبُونَ UR
Al-Inshiqaaq - 23 Page 589
وَٱللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا يُوعُونَ
EN And Allah is most knowing of what they keep within themselves.
وَاللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا يُوعُونَ UR
Al-Inshiqaaq - 24 Page 589
فَبَشِّرْهُم بِعَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍ
EN So give them tidings of a painful punishment,
فَبَشِّرْهُمْ بِعَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍ UR
Al-Inshiqaaq - 25 Page 589
إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ لَهُمْ أَجْرٌ غَيْرُ مَمْنُونٍۭ
EN Except for those who believe and do righteous deeds. For them is a reward uninterrupted.
إِلَّا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ لَهُمْ أَجْرٌ غَيْرُ مَمْنُونٍ UR
Al-Burooj - 1 Page 590
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ وَٱلسَّمَآءِ ذَاتِ ٱلْبُرُوجِ
EN By the sky containing great stars
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ وَالسَّمَاءِ ذَاتِ الْبُرُوجِ UR
Al-Burooj - 2 Page 590
وَٱلْيَوْمِ ٱلْمَوْعُودِ
EN And [by] the promised Day
وَالْيَوْمِ الْمَوْعُودِ UR
Al-Burooj - 3 Page 590
وَشَاهِدٍۢ وَمَشْهُودٍۢ
EN And [by] the witness and what is witnessed,
وَشَاهِدٍ وَمَشْهُودٍ UR
Al-Burooj - 4 Page 590
قُتِلَ أَصْحَٰبُ ٱلْأُخْدُودِ
EN Cursed were the companions of the trench
قُتِلَ أَصْحَابُ الْأُخْدُودِ UR
Al-Burooj - 5 Page 590
ٱلنَّارِ ذَاتِ ٱلْوَقُودِ
EN [Containing] the fire full of fuel,
النَّارِ ذَاتِ الْوَقُودِ UR
Al-Burooj - 6 Page 590
إِذْ هُمْ عَلَيْهَا قُعُودٌۭ
EN When they were sitting near it
إِذْ هُمْ عَلَيْهَا قُعُودٌ UR
Al-Burooj - 7 Page 590
وَهُمْ عَلَىٰ مَا يَفْعَلُونَ بِٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ شُهُودٌۭ
EN And they, to what they were doing against the believers, were witnesses.
وَهُمْ عَلَىٰ مَا يَفْعَلُونَ بِالْمُؤْمِنِينَ شُهُودٌ UR
Al-Burooj - 8 Page 590
وَمَا نَقَمُوا۟ مِنْهُمْ إِلَّآ أَن يُؤْمِنُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ ٱلْعَزِيزِ ٱلْحَمِيدِ
EN And they resented them not except because they believed in Allah, the Exalted in Might, the Praiseworthy,
وَمَا نَقَمُوا مِنْهُمْ إِلَّا أَنْ يُؤْمِنُوا بِاللَّهِ الْعَزِيزِ الْحَمِيدِ UR
Al-Burooj - 9 Page 590
ٱلَّذِى لَهُۥ مُلْكُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۚ وَٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍۢ شَهِيدٌ
EN To whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth. And Allah, over all things, is Witness.
الَّذِي لَهُ مُلْكُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ ۚ وَاللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ شَهِيدٌ UR
Al-Burooj - 10 Page 590
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ فَتَنُوا۟ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَٱلْمُؤْمِنَٰتِ ثُمَّ لَمْ يَتُوبُوا۟ فَلَهُمْ عَذَابُ جَهَنَّمَ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابُ ٱلْحَرِيقِ
EN Indeed, those who have tortured the believing men and believing women and then have not repented will have the punishment of Hell, and they will have the punishment of the Burning Fire.
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ فَتَنُوا الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتِ ثُمَّ لَمْ يَتُوبُوا فَلَهُمْ عَذَابُ جَهَنَّمَ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابُ الْحَرِيقِ UR
Al-Burooj - 11 Page 590
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ لَهُمْ جَنَّٰتٌۭ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ ٱلْفَوْزُ ٱلْكَبِيرُ
EN Indeed, those who have believed and done righteous deeds will have gardens beneath which rivers flow. That is the great attainment.
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ لَهُمْ جَنَّاتٌ تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ الْفَوْزُ الْكَبِيرُ UR
Al-Burooj - 12 Page 590
إِنَّ بَطْشَ رَبِّكَ لَشَدِيدٌ
EN Indeed, the vengeance of your Lord is severe.
إِنَّ بَطْشَ رَبِّكَ لَشَدِيدٌ UR
Al-Burooj - 13 Page 590
إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ يُبْدِئُ وَيُعِيدُ
EN Indeed, it is He who originates [creation] and repeats.
إِنَّهُ هُوَ يُبْدِئُ وَيُعِيدُ UR
Al-Burooj - 14 Page 590
وَهُوَ ٱلْغَفُورُ ٱلْوَدُودُ
EN And He is the Forgiving, the Affectionate,
وَهُوَ الْغَفُورُ الْوَدُودُ UR
Al-Burooj - 15 Page 590
ذُو ٱلْعَرْشِ ٱلْمَجِيدُ
EN Honorable Owner of the Throne,
ذُو الْعَرْشِ الْمَجِيدُ UR
Al-Burooj - 16 Page 590
فَعَّالٌۭ لِّمَا يُرِيدُ
EN Effecter of what He intends.
فَعَّالٌ لِمَا يُرِيدُ UR
Al-Burooj - 17 Page 590
هَلْ أَتَىٰكَ حَدِيثُ ٱلْجُنُودِ
EN Has there reached you the story of the soldiers -
هَلْ أَتَاكَ حَدِيثُ الْجُنُودِ UR
Al-Burooj - 18 Page 590
فِرْعَوْنَ وَثَمُودَ
EN [Those of] Pharaoh and Thamud?
فِرْعَوْنَ وَثَمُودَ UR
Al-Burooj - 19 Page 590
بَلِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ فِى تَكْذِيبٍۢ
EN But they who disbelieve are in [persistent] denial,
بَلِ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا فِي تَكْذِيبٍ UR
Al-Burooj - 20 Page 590
وَٱللَّهُ مِن وَرَآئِهِم مُّحِيطٌۢ
EN While Allah encompasses them from behind.
وَاللَّهُ مِنْ وَرَائِهِمْ مُحِيطٌ UR
Al-Burooj - 21 Page 590
بَلْ هُوَ قُرْءَانٌۭ مَّجِيدٌۭ
EN But this is an honored Qur'an
بَلْ هُوَ قُرْآنٌ مَجِيدٌ UR
Al-Burooj - 22 Page 590
فِى لَوْحٍۢ مَّحْفُوظٍۭ
EN [Inscribed] in a Preserved Slate.
فِي لَوْحٍ مَحْفُوظٍ UR
At-Taariq - 1 Page 591
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ وَٱلسَّمَآءِ وَٱلطَّارِقِ
EN By the sky and the night comer -
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ وَالسَّمَاءِ وَالطَّارِقِ UR
At-Taariq - 2 Page 591
وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا ٱلطَّارِقُ
EN And what can make you know what is the night comer?
وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا الطَّارِقُ UR
At-Taariq - 3 Page 591
ٱلنَّجْمُ ٱلثَّاقِبُ
EN It is the piercing star -
النَّجْمُ الثَّاقِبُ UR
At-Taariq - 4 Page 591
إِن كُلُّ نَفْسٍۢ لَّمَّا عَلَيْهَا حَافِظٌۭ
EN There is no soul but that it has over it a protector.
إِنْ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ لَمَّا عَلَيْهَا حَافِظٌ UR
At-Taariq - 5 Page 591
فَلْيَنظُرِ ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ مِمَّ خُلِقَ
EN So let man observe from what he was created.
فَلْيَنْظُرِ الْإِنْسَانُ مِمَّ خُلِقَ UR
At-Taariq - 6 Page 591
خُلِقَ مِن مَّآءٍۢ دَافِقٍۢ
EN He was created from a fluid, ejected,
خُلِقَ مِنْ مَاءٍ دَافِقٍ UR
At-Taariq - 7 Page 591
يَخْرُجُ مِنۢ بَيْنِ ٱلصُّلْبِ وَٱلتَّرَآئِبِ
EN Emerging from between the backbone and the ribs.
يَخْرُجُ مِنْ بَيْنِ الصُّلْبِ وَالتَّرَائِبِ UR
At-Taariq - 8 Page 591
إِنَّهُۥ عَلَىٰ رَجْعِهِۦ لَقَادِرٌۭ
EN Indeed, Allah, to return him [to life], is Able.
إِنَّهُ عَلَىٰ رَجْعِهِ لَقَادِرٌ UR
At-Taariq - 9 Page 591
يَوْمَ تُبْلَى ٱلسَّرَآئِرُ
EN The Day when secrets will be put on trial,
يَوْمَ تُبْلَى السَّرَائِرُ UR
At-Taariq - 10 Page 591
فَمَا لَهُۥ مِن قُوَّةٍۢ وَلَا نَاصِرٍۢ
EN Then man will have no power or any helper.
فَمَا لَهُ مِنْ قُوَّةٍ وَلَا نَاصِرٍ UR
At-Taariq - 11 Page 591
وَٱلسَّمَآءِ ذَاتِ ٱلرَّجْعِ
EN By the sky which returns [rain]
وَالسَّمَاءِ ذَاتِ الرَّجْعِ UR
At-Taariq - 12 Page 591
وَٱلْأَرْضِ ذَاتِ ٱلصَّدْعِ
EN And [by] the earth which cracks open,
وَالْأَرْضِ ذَاتِ الصَّدْعِ UR
At-Taariq - 13 Page 591
إِنَّهُۥ لَقَوْلٌۭ فَصْلٌۭ
EN Indeed, the Qur'an is a decisive statement,
إِنَّهُ لَقَوْلٌ فَصْلٌ UR
At-Taariq - 14 Page 591
وَمَا هُوَ بِٱلْهَزْلِ
EN And it is not amusement.
وَمَا هُوَ بِالْهَزْلِ UR
At-Taariq - 15 Page 591
إِنَّهُمْ يَكِيدُونَ كَيْدًۭا
EN Indeed, they are planning a plan,
إِنَّهُمْ يَكِيدُونَ كَيْدًا UR
At-Taariq - 16 Page 591
وَأَكِيدُ كَيْدًۭا
EN But I am planning a plan.
وَأَكِيدُ كَيْدًا UR
At-Taariq - 17 Page 591
فَمَهِّلِ ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ أَمْهِلْهُمْ رُوَيْدًۢا
EN So allow time for the disbelievers. Leave them awhile.
فَمَهِّلِ الْكَافِرِينَ أَمْهِلْهُمْ رُوَيْدًا UR
Al-A'laa - 1 Page 591
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ سَبِّحِ ٱسْمَ رَبِّكَ ٱلْأَعْلَى
EN Exalt the name of your Lord, the Most High,
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ سَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الْأَعْلَى UR
Al-A'laa - 2 Page 591
ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ فَسَوَّىٰ
EN Who created and proportioned
الَّذِي خَلَقَ فَسَوَّىٰ UR
Al-A'laa - 3 Page 591
وَٱلَّذِى قَدَّرَ فَهَدَىٰ
EN And who destined and [then] guided
وَالَّذِي قَدَّرَ فَهَدَىٰ UR
Al-A'laa - 4 Page 591
وَٱلَّذِىٓ أَخْرَجَ ٱلْمَرْعَىٰ
EN And who brings out the pasture
وَالَّذِي أَخْرَجَ الْمَرْعَىٰ UR
Al-A'laa - 5 Page 591
فَجَعَلَهُۥ غُثَآءً أَحْوَىٰ
EN And [then] makes it black stubble.
فَجَعَلَهُ غُثَاءً أَحْوَىٰ UR
Al-A'laa - 6 Page 591
سَنُقْرِئُكَ فَلَا تَنسَىٰٓ
EN We will make you recite, [O Muhammad], and you will not forget,
سَنُقْرِئُكَ فَلَا تَنْسَىٰ UR
Al-A'laa - 7 Page 591
إِلَّا مَا شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ يَعْلَمُ ٱلْجَهْرَ وَمَا يَخْفَىٰ
EN Except what Allah should will. Indeed, He knows what is declared and what is hidden.
إِلَّا مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ ۚ إِنَّهُ يَعْلَمُ الْجَهْرَ وَمَا يَخْفَىٰ UR
Al-A'laa - 8 Page 591
وَنُيَسِّرُكَ لِلْيُسْرَىٰ
EN And We will ease you toward ease.
وَنُيَسِّرُكَ لِلْيُسْرَىٰ UR
Al-A'laa - 9 Page 591
فَذَكِّرْ إِن نَّفَعَتِ ٱلذِّكْرَىٰ
EN So remind, if the reminder should benefit;
فَذَكِّرْ إِنْ نَفَعَتِ الذِّكْرَىٰ UR
Al-A'laa - 10 Page 591
سَيَذَّكَّرُ مَن يَخْشَىٰ
EN He who fears [Allah] will be reminded.
سَيَذَّكَّرُ مَنْ يَخْشَىٰ UR
Al-A'laa - 11 Page 591
وَيَتَجَنَّبُهَا ٱلْأَشْقَى
EN But the wretched one will avoid it -
وَيَتَجَنَّبُهَا الْأَشْقَى UR
Al-A'laa - 12 Page 591
ٱلَّذِى يَصْلَى ٱلنَّارَ ٱلْكُبْرَىٰ
EN [He] who will [enter and] burn in the greatest Fire,
الَّذِي يَصْلَى النَّارَ الْكُبْرَىٰ UR
Al-A'laa - 13 Page 591
ثُمَّ لَا يَمُوتُ فِيهَا وَلَا يَحْيَىٰ
EN Neither dying therein nor living.
ثُمَّ لَا يَمُوتُ فِيهَا وَلَا يَحْيَىٰ UR
Al-A'laa - 14 Page 591
قَدْ أَفْلَحَ مَن تَزَكَّىٰ
EN He has certainly succeeded who purifies himself
قَدْ أَفْلَحَ مَنْ تَزَكَّىٰ UR
Al-A'laa - 15 Page 591
وَذَكَرَ ٱسْمَ رَبِّهِۦ فَصَلَّىٰ
EN And mentions the name of his Lord and prays.
وَذَكَرَ اسْمَ رَبِّهِ فَصَلَّىٰ UR
Al-A'laa - 16 Page 592
بَلْ تُؤْثِرُونَ ٱلْحَيَوٰةَ ٱلدُّنْيَا
EN But you prefer the worldly life,
بَلْ تُؤْثِرُونَ الْحَيَاةَ الدُّنْيَا UR
Al-A'laa - 17 Page 592
وَٱلْءَاخِرَةُ خَيْرٌۭ وَأَبْقَىٰٓ
EN While the Hereafter is better and more enduring.
وَالْآخِرَةُ خَيْرٌ وَأَبْقَىٰ UR
Al-A'laa - 18 Page 592
إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَفِى ٱلصُّحُفِ ٱلْأُولَىٰ
EN Indeed, this is in the former scriptures,
إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَفِي الصُّحُفِ الْأُولَىٰ UR
Al-A'laa - 19 Page 592
صُحُفِ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ وَمُوسَىٰ
EN The scriptures of Abraham and Moses.
صُحُفِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَمُوسَىٰ UR
Al-Ghaashiya - 1 Page 592
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ هَلْ أَتَىٰكَ حَدِيثُ ٱلْغَٰشِيَةِ
EN Has there reached you the report of the Overwhelming [event]?
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ هَلْ أَتَاكَ حَدِيثُ الْغَاشِيَةِ UR
Al-Ghaashiya - 2 Page 592
وُجُوهٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍ خَٰشِعَةٌ
EN [Some] faces, that Day, will be humbled,
وُجُوهٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ خَاشِعَةٌ UR
Al-Ghaashiya - 3 Page 592
عَامِلَةٌۭ نَّاصِبَةٌۭ
EN Working [hard] and exhausted.
عَامِلَةٌ نَاصِبَةٌ UR
Al-Ghaashiya - 4 Page 592
تَصْلَىٰ نَارًا حَامِيَةًۭ
EN They will [enter to] burn in an intensely hot Fire.
تَصْلَىٰ نَارًا حَامِيَةً UR
Al-Ghaashiya - 5 Page 592
تُسْقَىٰ مِنْ عَيْنٍ ءَانِيَةٍۢ
EN They will be given drink from a boiling spring.
تُسْقَىٰ مِنْ عَيْنٍ آنِيَةٍ UR
Al-Ghaashiya - 6 Page 592
لَّيْسَ لَهُمْ طَعَامٌ إِلَّا مِن ضَرِيعٍۢ
EN For them there will be no food except from a poisonous, thorny plant
لَيْسَ لَهُمْ طَعَامٌ إِلَّا مِنْ ضَرِيعٍ UR
Al-Ghaashiya - 7 Page 592
لَّا يُسْمِنُ وَلَا يُغْنِى مِن جُوعٍۢ
EN Which neither nourishes nor avails against hunger.
لَا يُسْمِنُ وَلَا يُغْنِي مِنْ جُوعٍ UR
Al-Ghaashiya - 8 Page 592
وُجُوهٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ نَّاعِمَةٌۭ
EN [Other] faces, that Day, will show pleasure.
وُجُوهٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ نَاعِمَةٌ UR
Al-Ghaashiya - 9 Page 592
لِّسَعْيِهَا رَاضِيَةٌۭ
EN With their effort [they are] satisfied
لِسَعْيِهَا رَاضِيَةٌ UR
Al-Ghaashiya - 10 Page 592
فِى جَنَّةٍ عَالِيَةٍۢ
EN In an elevated garden,
فِي جَنَّةٍ عَالِيَةٍ UR
Al-Ghaashiya - 11 Page 592
لَّا تَسْمَعُ فِيهَا لَٰغِيَةًۭ
EN Wherein they will hear no unsuitable speech.
لَا تَسْمَعُ فِيهَا لَاغِيَةً UR
Al-Ghaashiya - 12 Page 592
فِيهَا عَيْنٌۭ جَارِيَةٌۭ
EN Within it is a flowing spring.
فِيهَا عَيْنٌ جَارِيَةٌ UR
Al-Ghaashiya - 13 Page 592
فِيهَا سُرُرٌۭ مَّرْفُوعَةٌۭ
EN Within it are couches raised high
فِيهَا سُرُرٌ مَرْفُوعَةٌ UR
Al-Ghaashiya - 14 Page 592
وَأَكْوَابٌۭ مَّوْضُوعَةٌۭ
EN And cups put in place
وَأَكْوَابٌ مَوْضُوعَةٌ UR
Al-Ghaashiya - 15 Page 592
وَنَمَارِقُ مَصْفُوفَةٌۭ
EN And cushions lined up
وَنَمَارِقُ مَصْفُوفَةٌ UR
Al-Ghaashiya - 16 Page 592
وَزَرَابِىُّ مَبْثُوثَةٌ
EN And carpets spread around.
وَزَرَابِيُّ مَبْثُوثَةٌ UR
Al-Ghaashiya - 17 Page 592
أَفَلَا يَنظُرُونَ إِلَى ٱلْإِبِلِ كَيْفَ خُلِقَتْ
EN Then do they not look at the camels - how they are created?
أَفَلَا يَنْظُرُونَ إِلَى الْإِبِلِ كَيْفَ خُلِقَتْ UR
Al-Ghaashiya - 18 Page 592
وَإِلَى ٱلسَّمَآءِ كَيْفَ رُفِعَتْ
EN And at the sky - how it is raised?
وَإِلَى السَّمَاءِ كَيْفَ رُفِعَتْ UR
Al-Ghaashiya - 19 Page 592
وَإِلَى ٱلْجِبَالِ كَيْفَ نُصِبَتْ
EN And at the mountains - how they are erected?
وَإِلَى الْجِبَالِ كَيْفَ نُصِبَتْ UR
Al-Ghaashiya - 20 Page 592
وَإِلَى ٱلْأَرْضِ كَيْفَ سُطِحَتْ
EN And at the earth - how it is spread out?
وَإِلَى الْأَرْضِ كَيْفَ سُطِحَتْ UR
Al-Ghaashiya - 21 Page 592
فَذَكِّرْ إِنَّمَآ أَنتَ مُذَكِّرٌۭ
EN So remind, [O Muhammad]; you are only a reminder.
فَذَكِّرْ إِنَّمَا أَنْتَ مُذَكِّرٌ UR
Al-Ghaashiya - 22 Page 592
لَّسْتَ عَلَيْهِم بِمُصَيْطِرٍ
EN You are not over them a controller.
لَسْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ بِمُصَيْطِرٍ UR
Al-Ghaashiya - 23 Page 592
إِلَّا مَن تَوَلَّىٰ وَكَفَرَ
EN However, he who turns away and disbelieves -
إِلَّا مَنْ تَوَلَّىٰ وَكَفَرَ UR
Al-Ghaashiya - 24 Page 592
فَيُعَذِّبُهُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلْعَذَابَ ٱلْأَكْبَرَ
EN Then Allah will punish him with the greatest punishment.
فَيُعَذِّبُهُ اللَّهُ الْعَذَابَ الْأَكْبَرَ UR
Al-Ghaashiya - 25 Page 592
إِنَّ إِلَيْنَآ إِيَابَهُمْ
EN Indeed, to Us is their return.
إِنَّ إِلَيْنَا إِيَابَهُمْ UR
Al-Ghaashiya - 26 Page 592
ثُمَّ إِنَّ عَلَيْنَا حِسَابَهُم
EN Then indeed, upon Us is their account.
ثُمَّ إِنَّ عَلَيْنَا حِسَابَهُمْ UR
Al-Fajr - 1 Page 593
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ وَٱلْفَجْرِ
EN By the dawn
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ وَالْفَجْرِ UR
Al-Fajr - 2 Page 593
وَلَيَالٍ عَشْرٍۢ
EN And [by] ten nights
وَلَيَالٍ عَشْرٍ UR
Al-Fajr - 3 Page 593
وَٱلشَّفْعِ وَٱلْوَتْرِ
EN And [by] the even [number] and the odd
وَالشَّفْعِ وَالْوَتْرِ UR
Al-Fajr - 4 Page 593
وَٱلَّيْلِ إِذَا يَسْرِ
EN And [by] the night when it passes,
وَاللَّيْلِ إِذَا يَسْرِ UR
Al-Fajr - 5 Page 593
هَلْ فِى ذَٰلِكَ قَسَمٌۭ لِّذِى حِجْرٍ
EN Is there [not] in [all] that an oath [sufficient] for one of perception?
هَلْ فِي ذَٰلِكَ قَسَمٌ لِذِي حِجْرٍ UR
Al-Fajr - 6 Page 593
أَلَمْ تَرَ كَيْفَ فَعَلَ رَبُّكَ بِعَادٍ
EN Have you not considered how your Lord dealt with 'Aad -
أَلَمْ تَرَ كَيْفَ فَعَلَ رَبُّكَ بِعَادٍ UR
Al-Fajr - 7 Page 593
إِرَمَ ذَاتِ ٱلْعِمَادِ
EN [With] Iram - who had lofty pillars,
إِرَمَ ذَاتِ الْعِمَادِ UR
Al-Fajr - 8 Page 593
ٱلَّتِى لَمْ يُخْلَقْ مِثْلُهَا فِى ٱلْبِلَٰدِ
EN The likes of whom had never been created in the land?
الَّتِي لَمْ يُخْلَقْ مِثْلُهَا فِي الْبِلَادِ UR
Al-Fajr - 9 Page 593
وَثَمُودَ ٱلَّذِينَ جَابُوا۟ ٱلصَّخْرَ بِٱلْوَادِ
EN And [with] Thamud, who carved out the rocks in the valley?
وَثَمُودَ الَّذِينَ جَابُوا الصَّخْرَ بِالْوَادِ UR
Al-Fajr - 10 Page 593
وَفِرْعَوْنَ ذِى ٱلْأَوْتَادِ
EN And [with] Pharaoh, owner of the stakes? -
وَفِرْعَوْنَ ذِي الْأَوْتَادِ UR
Al-Fajr - 11 Page 593
ٱلَّذِينَ طَغَوْا۟ فِى ٱلْبِلَٰدِ
EN [All of] whom oppressed within the lands
الَّذِينَ طَغَوْا فِي الْبِلَادِ UR
Al-Fajr - 12 Page 593
فَأَكْثَرُوا۟ فِيهَا ٱلْفَسَادَ
EN And increased therein the corruption.
فَأَكْثَرُوا فِيهَا الْفَسَادَ UR
Al-Fajr - 13 Page 593
فَصَبَّ عَلَيْهِمْ رَبُّكَ سَوْطَ عَذَابٍ
EN So your Lord poured upon them a scourge of punishment.
فَصَبَّ عَلَيْهِمْ رَبُّكَ سَوْطَ عَذَابٍ UR
Al-Fajr - 14 Page 593
إِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَبِٱلْمِرْصَادِ
EN Indeed, your Lord is in observation.
إِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَبِالْمِرْصَادِ UR
Al-Fajr - 15 Page 593
فَأَمَّا ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ إِذَا مَا ٱبْتَلَىٰهُ رَبُّهُۥ فَأَكْرَمَهُۥ وَنَعَّمَهُۥ فَيَقُولُ رَبِّىٓ أَكْرَمَنِ
EN And as for man, when his Lord tries him and [thus] is generous to him and favors him, he says, "My Lord has honored me."
فَأَمَّا الْإِنْسَانُ إِذَا مَا ابْتَلَاهُ رَبُّهُ فَأَكْرَمَهُ وَنَعَّمَهُ فَيَقُولُ رَبِّي أَكْرَمَنِ UR
Al-Fajr - 16 Page 593
وَأَمَّآ إِذَا مَا ٱبْتَلَىٰهُ فَقَدَرَ عَلَيْهِ رِزْقَهُۥ فَيَقُولُ رَبِّىٓ أَهَٰنَنِ
EN But when He tries him and restricts his provision, he says, "My Lord has humiliated me."
وَأَمَّا إِذَا مَا ابْتَلَاهُ فَقَدَرَ عَلَيْهِ رِزْقَهُ فَيَقُولُ رَبِّي أَهَانَنِ UR
Al-Fajr - 17 Page 593
كَلَّا ۖ بَل لَّا تُكْرِمُونَ ٱلْيَتِيمَ
EN No! But you do not honor the orphan
كَلَّا ۖ بَلْ لَا تُكْرِمُونَ الْيَتِيمَ UR
Al-Fajr - 18 Page 593
وَلَا تَحَٰٓضُّونَ عَلَىٰ طَعَامِ ٱلْمِسْكِينِ
EN And you do not encourage one another to feed the poor.
وَلَا تَحَاضُّونَ عَلَىٰ طَعَامِ الْمِسْكِينِ UR
Al-Fajr - 19 Page 593
وَتَأْكُلُونَ ٱلتُّرَاثَ أَكْلًۭا لَّمًّۭا
EN And you consume inheritance, devouring [it] altogether,
وَتَأْكُلُونَ التُّرَاثَ أَكْلًا لَمًّا UR
Al-Fajr - 20 Page 593
وَتُحِبُّونَ ٱلْمَالَ حُبًّۭا جَمًّۭا
EN And you love wealth with immense love.
وَتُحِبُّونَ الْمَالَ حُبًّا جَمًّا UR
Al-Fajr - 21 Page 593
كَلَّآ إِذَا دُكَّتِ ٱلْأَرْضُ دَكًّۭا دَكًّۭا
EN No! When the earth has been leveled - pounded and crushed -
كَلَّا إِذَا دُكَّتِ الْأَرْضُ دَكًّا دَكًّا UR
Al-Fajr - 22 Page 593
وَجَآءَ رَبُّكَ وَٱلْمَلَكُ صَفًّۭا صَفًّۭا
EN And your Lord has come and the angels, rank upon rank,
وَجَاءَ رَبُّكَ وَالْمَلَكُ صَفًّا صَفًّا UR
Al-Fajr - 23 Page 593
وَجِا۟ىٓءَ يَوْمَئِذٍۭ بِجَهَنَّمَ ۚ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ يَتَذَكَّرُ ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ وَأَنَّىٰ لَهُ ٱلذِّكْرَىٰ
EN And brought [within view], that Day, is Hell - that Day, man will remember, but what good to him will be the remembrance?
وَجِيءَ يَوْمَئِذٍ بِجَهَنَّمَ ۚ يَوْمَئِذٍ يَتَذَكَّرُ الْإِنْسَانُ وَأَنَّىٰ لَهُ الذِّكْرَىٰ UR
Al-Fajr - 24 Page 594
يَقُولُ يَٰلَيْتَنِى قَدَّمْتُ لِحَيَاتِى
EN He will say, "Oh, I wish I had sent ahead [some good] for my life."
يَقُولُ يَا لَيْتَنِي قَدَّمْتُ لِحَيَاتِي UR
Al-Fajr - 25 Page 594
فَيَوْمَئِذٍۢ لَّا يُعَذِّبُ عَذَابَهُۥٓ أَحَدٌۭ
EN So on that Day, none will punish [as severely] as His punishment,
فَيَوْمَئِذٍ لَا يُعَذِّبُ عَذَابَهُ أَحَدٌ UR
Al-Fajr - 26 Page 594
وَلَا يُوثِقُ وَثَاقَهُۥٓ أَحَدٌۭ
EN And none will bind [as severely] as His binding [of the evildoers].
وَلَا يُوثِقُ وَثَاقَهُ أَحَدٌ UR
Al-Fajr - 27 Page 594
يَٰٓأَيَّتُهَا ٱلنَّفْسُ ٱلْمُطْمَئِنَّةُ
EN [To the righteous it will be said], "O reassured soul,
يَا أَيَّتُهَا النَّفْسُ الْمُطْمَئِنَّةُ UR
Al-Fajr - 28 Page 594
ٱرْجِعِىٓ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكِ رَاضِيَةًۭ مَّرْضِيَّةًۭ
EN Return to your Lord, well-pleased and pleasing [to Him],
ارْجِعِي إِلَىٰ رَبِّكِ رَاضِيَةً مَرْضِيَّةً UR
Al-Fajr - 29 Page 594
فَٱدْخُلِى فِى عِبَٰدِى
EN And enter among My [righteous] servants
فَادْخُلِي فِي عِبَادِي UR
Al-Fajr - 30 Page 594
وَٱدْخُلِى جَنَّتِى
EN And enter My Paradise."
وَادْخُلِي جَنَّتِي UR
Al-Balad - 1 Page 594
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ لَآ أُقْسِمُ بِهَٰذَا ٱلْبَلَدِ
EN I swear by this city, Makkah -
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ لَا أُقْسِمُ بِهَٰذَا الْبَلَدِ UR
Al-Balad - 2 Page 594
وَأَنتَ حِلٌّۢ بِهَٰذَا ٱلْبَلَدِ
EN And you, [O Muhammad], are free of restriction in this city -
وَأَنْتَ حِلٌّ بِهَٰذَا الْبَلَدِ UR
Al-Balad - 3 Page 594
وَوَالِدٍۢ وَمَا وَلَدَ
EN And [by] the father and that which was born [of him],
وَوَالِدٍ وَمَا وَلَدَ UR
Al-Balad - 4 Page 594
لَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ فِى كَبَدٍ
EN We have certainly created man into hardship.
لَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا الْإِنْسَانَ فِي كَبَدٍ UR
Al-Balad - 5 Page 594
أَيَحْسَبُ أَن لَّن يَقْدِرَ عَلَيْهِ أَحَدٌۭ
EN Does he think that never will anyone overcome him?
أَيَحْسَبُ أَنْ لَنْ يَقْدِرَ عَلَيْهِ أَحَدٌ UR
Al-Balad - 6 Page 594
يَقُولُ أَهْلَكْتُ مَالًۭا لُّبَدًا
EN He says, "I have spent wealth in abundance."
يَقُولُ أَهْلَكْتُ مَالًا لُبَدًا UR
Al-Balad - 7 Page 594
أَيَحْسَبُ أَن لَّمْ يَرَهُۥٓ أَحَدٌ
EN Does he think that no one has seen him?
أَيَحْسَبُ أَنْ لَمْ يَرَهُ أَحَدٌ UR
Al-Balad - 8 Page 594
أَلَمْ نَجْعَل لَّهُۥ عَيْنَيْنِ
EN Have We not made for him two eyes?
أَلَمْ نَجْعَلْ لَهُ عَيْنَيْنِ UR
Al-Balad - 9 Page 594
وَلِسَانًۭا وَشَفَتَيْنِ
EN And a tongue and two lips?
وَلِسَانًا وَشَفَتَيْنِ UR
Al-Balad - 10 Page 594
وَهَدَيْنَٰهُ ٱلنَّجْدَيْنِ
EN And have shown him the two ways?
وَهَدَيْنَاهُ النَّجْدَيْنِ UR
Al-Balad - 11 Page 594
فَلَا ٱقْتَحَمَ ٱلْعَقَبَةَ
EN But he has not broken through the difficult pass.
فَلَا اقْتَحَمَ الْعَقَبَةَ UR
Al-Balad - 12 Page 594
وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا ٱلْعَقَبَةُ
EN And what can make you know what is [breaking through] the difficult pass?
وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا الْعَقَبَةُ UR
Al-Balad - 13 Page 594
فَكُّ رَقَبَةٍ
EN It is the freeing of a slave
فَكُّ رَقَبَةٍ UR
Al-Balad - 14 Page 594
أَوْ إِطْعَٰمٌۭ فِى يَوْمٍۢ ذِى مَسْغَبَةٍۢ
EN Or feeding on a day of severe hunger
أَوْ إِطْعَامٌ فِي يَوْمٍ ذِي مَسْغَبَةٍ UR
Al-Balad - 15 Page 594
يَتِيمًۭا ذَا مَقْرَبَةٍ
EN An orphan of near relationship
يَتِيمًا ذَا مَقْرَبَةٍ UR
Al-Balad - 16 Page 594
أَوْ مِسْكِينًۭا ذَا مَتْرَبَةٍۢ
EN Or a needy person in misery
أَوْ مِسْكِينًا ذَا مَتْرَبَةٍ UR
Al-Balad - 17 Page 594
ثُمَّ كَانَ مِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَتَوَاصَوْا۟ بِٱلصَّبْرِ وَتَوَاصَوْا۟ بِٱلْمَرْحَمَةِ
EN And then being among those who believed and advised one another to patience and advised one another to compassion.
ثُمَّ كَانَ مِنَ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَتَوَاصَوْا بِالصَّبْرِ وَتَوَاصَوْا بِالْمَرْحَمَةِ UR
Al-Balad - 18 Page 594
أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ أَصْحَٰبُ ٱلْمَيْمَنَةِ
EN Those are the companions of the right.
أُولَٰئِكَ أَصْحَابُ الْمَيْمَنَةِ UR
Al-Balad - 19 Page 594
وَٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا هُمْ أَصْحَٰبُ ٱلْمَشْـَٔمَةِ
EN But they who disbelieved in Our signs - those are the companions of the left.
وَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا بِآيَاتِنَا هُمْ أَصْحَابُ الْمَشْأَمَةِ UR
Al-Balad - 20 Page 594
عَلَيْهِمْ نَارٌۭ مُّؤْصَدَةٌۢ
EN Over them will be fire closed in.
عَلَيْهِمْ نَارٌ مُؤْصَدَةٌ UR
Ash-Shams - 1 Page 595
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ وَٱلشَّمْسِ وَضُحَىٰهَا
EN By the sun and its brightness
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ وَالشَّمْسِ وَضُحَاهَا UR
Ash-Shams - 2 Page 595
وَٱلْقَمَرِ إِذَا تَلَىٰهَا
EN And [by] the moon when it follows it
وَالْقَمَرِ إِذَا تَلَاهَا UR
Ash-Shams - 3 Page 595
وَٱلنَّهَارِ إِذَا جَلَّىٰهَا
EN And [by] the day when it displays it
وَالنَّهَارِ إِذَا جَلَّاهَا UR
Ash-Shams - 4 Page 595
وَٱلَّيْلِ إِذَا يَغْشَىٰهَا
EN And [by] the night when it covers it
وَاللَّيْلِ إِذَا يَغْشَاهَا UR
Ash-Shams - 5 Page 595
وَٱلسَّمَآءِ وَمَا بَنَىٰهَا
EN And [by] the sky and He who constructed it
وَالسَّمَاءِ وَمَا بَنَاهَا UR
Ash-Shams - 6 Page 595
وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَمَا طَحَىٰهَا
EN And [by] the earth and He who spread it
وَالْأَرْضِ وَمَا طَحَاهَا UR
Ash-Shams - 7 Page 595
وَنَفْسٍۢ وَمَا سَوَّىٰهَا
EN And [by] the soul and He who proportioned it
وَنَفْسٍ وَمَا سَوَّاهَا UR
Ash-Shams - 8 Page 595
فَأَلْهَمَهَا فُجُورَهَا وَتَقْوَىٰهَا
EN And inspired it [with discernment of] its wickedness and its righteousness,
فَأَلْهَمَهَا فُجُورَهَا وَتَقْوَاهَا UR
Ash-Shams - 9 Page 595
قَدْ أَفْلَحَ مَن زَكَّىٰهَا
EN He has succeeded who purifies it,
قَدْ أَفْلَحَ مَنْ زَكَّاهَا UR
Ash-Shams - 10 Page 595
وَقَدْ خَابَ مَن دَسَّىٰهَا
EN And he has failed who instills it [with corruption].
وَقَدْ خَابَ مَنْ دَسَّاهَا UR
Ash-Shams - 11 Page 595
كَذَّبَتْ ثَمُودُ بِطَغْوَىٰهَآ
EN Thamud denied [their prophet] by reason of their transgression,
كَذَّبَتْ ثَمُودُ بِطَغْوَاهَا UR
Ash-Shams - 12 Page 595
إِذِ ٱنۢبَعَثَ أَشْقَىٰهَا
EN When the most wretched of them was sent forth.
إِذِ انْبَعَثَ أَشْقَاهَا UR
Ash-Shams - 13 Page 595
فَقَالَ لَهُمْ رَسُولُ ٱللَّهِ نَاقَةَ ٱللَّهِ وَسُقْيَٰهَا
EN And the messenger of Allah [Salih] said to them, "[Do not harm] the she-camel of Allah or [prevent her from] her drink."
فَقَالَ لَهُمْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ نَاقَةَ اللَّهِ وَسُقْيَاهَا UR
Ash-Shams - 14 Page 595
فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَعَقَرُوهَا فَدَمْدَمَ عَلَيْهِمْ رَبُّهُم بِذَنۢبِهِمْ فَسَوَّىٰهَا
EN But they denied him and hamstrung her. So their Lord brought down upon them destruction for their sin and made it equal [upon all of them].
فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَعَقَرُوهَا فَدَمْدَمَ عَلَيْهِمْ رَبُّهُمْ بِذَنْبِهِمْ فَسَوَّاهَا UR
Ash-Shams - 15 Page 595
وَلَا يَخَافُ عُقْبَٰهَا
EN And He does not fear the consequence thereof.
وَلَا يَخَافُ عُقْبَاهَا UR
Al-Lail - 1 Page 595
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ وَٱلَّيْلِ إِذَا يَغْشَىٰ
EN By the night when it covers
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ وَاللَّيْلِ إِذَا يَغْشَىٰ UR
Al-Lail - 2 Page 595
وَٱلنَّهَارِ إِذَا تَجَلَّىٰ
EN And [by] the day when it appears
وَالنَّهَارِ إِذَا تَجَلَّىٰ UR
Al-Lail - 3 Page 595
وَمَا خَلَقَ ٱلذَّكَرَ وَٱلْأُنثَىٰٓ
EN And [by] He who created the male and female,
وَمَا خَلَقَ الذَّكَرَ وَالْأُنْثَىٰ UR
Al-Lail - 4 Page 595
إِنَّ سَعْيَكُمْ لَشَتَّىٰ
EN Indeed, your efforts are diverse.
إِنَّ سَعْيَكُمْ لَشَتَّىٰ UR
Al-Lail - 5 Page 595
فَأَمَّا مَنْ أَعْطَىٰ وَٱتَّقَىٰ
EN As for he who gives and fears Allah
فَأَمَّا مَنْ أَعْطَىٰ وَاتَّقَىٰ UR
Al-Lail - 6 Page 595
وَصَدَّقَ بِٱلْحُسْنَىٰ
EN And believes in the best [reward],
وَصَدَّقَ بِالْحُسْنَىٰ UR
Al-Lail - 7 Page 595
فَسَنُيَسِّرُهُۥ لِلْيُسْرَىٰ
EN We will ease him toward ease.
فَسَنُيَسِّرُهُ لِلْيُسْرَىٰ UR
Al-Lail - 8 Page 595
وَأَمَّا مَنۢ بَخِلَ وَٱسْتَغْنَىٰ
EN But as for he who withholds and considers himself free of need
وَأَمَّا مَنْ بَخِلَ وَاسْتَغْنَىٰ UR
Al-Lail - 9 Page 595
وَكَذَّبَ بِٱلْحُسْنَىٰ
EN And denies the best [reward],
وَكَذَّبَ بِالْحُسْنَىٰ UR
Al-Lail - 10 Page 595
فَسَنُيَسِّرُهُۥ لِلْعُسْرَىٰ
EN We will ease him toward difficulty.
فَسَنُيَسِّرُهُ لِلْعُسْرَىٰ UR
Al-Lail - 11 Page 595
وَمَا يُغْنِى عَنْهُ مَالُهُۥٓ إِذَا تَرَدَّىٰٓ
EN And what will his wealth avail him when he falls?
وَمَا يُغْنِي عَنْهُ مَالُهُ إِذَا تَرَدَّىٰ UR
Al-Lail - 12 Page 595
إِنَّ عَلَيْنَا لَلْهُدَىٰ
EN Indeed, [incumbent] upon Us is guidance.
إِنَّ عَلَيْنَا لَلْهُدَىٰ UR
Al-Lail - 13 Page 595
وَإِنَّ لَنَا لَلْءَاخِرَةَ وَٱلْأُولَىٰ
EN And indeed, to Us belongs the Hereafter and the first [life].
وَإِنَّ لَنَا لَلْآخِرَةَ وَالْأُولَىٰ UR
Al-Lail - 14 Page 595
فَأَنذَرْتُكُمْ نَارًۭا تَلَظَّىٰ
EN So I have warned you of a Fire which is blazing.
فَأَنْذَرْتُكُمْ نَارًا تَلَظَّىٰ UR
Al-Lail - 15 Page 596
لَا يَصْلَىٰهَآ إِلَّا ٱلْأَشْقَى
EN None will [enter to] burn therein except the most wretched one.
لَا يَصْلَاهَا إِلَّا الْأَشْقَى UR
Al-Lail - 16 Page 596
ٱلَّذِى كَذَّبَ وَتَوَلَّىٰ
EN Who had denied and turned away.
الَّذِي كَذَّبَ وَتَوَلَّىٰ UR
Al-Lail - 17 Page 596
وَسَيُجَنَّبُهَا ٱلْأَتْقَى
EN But the righteous one will avoid it -
وَسَيُجَنَّبُهَا الْأَتْقَى UR
Al-Lail - 18 Page 596
ٱلَّذِى يُؤْتِى مَالَهُۥ يَتَزَكَّىٰ
EN [He] who gives [from] his wealth to purify himself
الَّذِي يُؤْتِي مَالَهُ يَتَزَكَّىٰ UR
Al-Lail - 19 Page 596
وَمَا لِأَحَدٍ عِندَهُۥ مِن نِّعْمَةٍۢ تُجْزَىٰٓ
EN And not [giving] for anyone who has [done him] a favor to be rewarded
وَمَا لِأَحَدٍ عِنْدَهُ مِنْ نِعْمَةٍ تُجْزَىٰ UR
Al-Lail - 20 Page 596
إِلَّا ٱبْتِغَآءَ وَجْهِ رَبِّهِ ٱلْأَعْلَىٰ
EN But only seeking the countenance of his Lord, Most High.
إِلَّا ابْتِغَاءَ وَجْهِ رَبِّهِ الْأَعْلَىٰ UR
Al-Lail - 21 Page 596
وَلَسَوْفَ يَرْضَىٰ
EN And he is going to be satisfied.
وَلَسَوْفَ يَرْضَىٰ UR
Ad-Dhuhaa - 1 Page 596
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ وَٱلضُّحَىٰ
EN By the morning brightness
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ وَالضُّحَىٰ UR
Ad-Dhuhaa - 2 Page 596
وَٱلَّيْلِ إِذَا سَجَىٰ
EN And [by] the night when it covers with darkness,
وَاللَّيْلِ إِذَا سَجَىٰ UR
Ad-Dhuhaa - 3 Page 596
مَا وَدَّعَكَ رَبُّكَ وَمَا قَلَىٰ
EN Your Lord has not taken leave of you, [O Muhammad], nor has He detested [you].
مَا وَدَّعَكَ رَبُّكَ وَمَا قَلَىٰ UR
Ad-Dhuhaa - 4 Page 596
وَلَلْءَاخِرَةُ خَيْرٌۭ لَّكَ مِنَ ٱلْأُولَىٰ
EN And the Hereafter is better for you than the first [life].
وَلَلْآخِرَةُ خَيْرٌ لَكَ مِنَ الْأُولَىٰ UR
Ad-Dhuhaa - 5 Page 596
وَلَسَوْفَ يُعْطِيكَ رَبُّكَ فَتَرْضَىٰٓ
EN And your Lord is going to give you, and you will be satisfied.
وَلَسَوْفَ يُعْطِيكَ رَبُّكَ فَتَرْضَىٰ UR
Ad-Dhuhaa - 6 Page 596
أَلَمْ يَجِدْكَ يَتِيمًۭا فَـَٔاوَىٰ
EN Did He not find you an orphan and give [you] refuge?
أَلَمْ يَجِدْكَ يَتِيمًا فَآوَىٰ UR
Ad-Dhuhaa - 7 Page 596
وَوَجَدَكَ ضَآلًّۭا فَهَدَىٰ
EN And He found you lost and guided [you],
وَوَجَدَكَ ضَالًّا فَهَدَىٰ UR
Ad-Dhuhaa - 8 Page 596
وَوَجَدَكَ عَآئِلًۭا فَأَغْنَىٰ
EN And He found you poor and made [you] self-sufficient.
وَوَجَدَكَ عَائِلًا فَأَغْنَىٰ UR
Ad-Dhuhaa - 9 Page 596
فَأَمَّا ٱلْيَتِيمَ فَلَا تَقْهَرْ
EN So as for the orphan, do not oppress [him].
فَأَمَّا الْيَتِيمَ فَلَا تَقْهَرْ UR
Ad-Dhuhaa - 10 Page 596
وَأَمَّا ٱلسَّآئِلَ فَلَا تَنْهَرْ
EN And as for the petitioner, do not repel [him].
وَأَمَّا السَّائِلَ فَلَا تَنْهَرْ UR
Ad-Dhuhaa - 11 Page 596
وَأَمَّا بِنِعْمَةِ رَبِّكَ فَحَدِّثْ
EN But as for the favor of your Lord, report [it].
وَأَمَّا بِنِعْمَةِ رَبِّكَ فَحَدِّثْ UR
Ash-Sharh - 1 Page 596
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ أَلَمْ نَشْرَحْ لَكَ صَدْرَكَ
EN Did We not expand for you, [O Muhammad], your breast?
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ أَلَمْ نَشْرَحْ لَكَ صَدْرَكَ UR
Ash-Sharh - 2 Page 596
وَوَضَعْنَا عَنكَ وِزْرَكَ
EN And We removed from you your burden
وَوَضَعْنَا عَنْكَ وِزْرَكَ UR
Ash-Sharh - 3 Page 596
ٱلَّذِىٓ أَنقَضَ ظَهْرَكَ
EN Which had weighed upon your back
الَّذِي أَنْقَضَ ظَهْرَكَ UR
Ash-Sharh - 4 Page 596
وَرَفَعْنَا لَكَ ذِكْرَكَ
EN And raised high for you your repute.
وَرَفَعْنَا لَكَ ذِكْرَكَ UR
Ash-Sharh - 5 Page 596
فَإِنَّ مَعَ ٱلْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا
EN For indeed, with hardship [will be] ease.
فَإِنَّ مَعَ الْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا UR
Ash-Sharh - 6 Page 596
إِنَّ مَعَ ٱلْعُسْرِ يُسْرًۭا
EN Indeed, with hardship [will be] ease.
إِنَّ مَعَ الْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا UR
Ash-Sharh - 7 Page 596
فَإِذَا فَرَغْتَ فَٱنصَبْ
EN So when you have finished [your duties], then stand up [for worship].
فَإِذَا فَرَغْتَ فَانْصَبْ UR
Ash-Sharh - 8 Page 596
وَإِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ فَٱرْغَب
EN And to your Lord direct [your] longing.
وَإِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ فَارْغَبْ UR
At-Tin - 1 Page 597
بِّسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ وَٱلتِّينِ وَٱلزَّيْتُونِ
EN By the fig and the olive
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ وَالتِّينِ وَالزَّيْتُونِ UR
At-Tin - 2 Page 597
وَطُورِ سِينِينَ
EN And [by] Mount Sinai
وَطُورِ سِينِينَ UR
At-Tin - 3 Page 597
وَهَٰذَا ٱلْبَلَدِ ٱلْأَمِينِ
EN And [by] this secure city [Makkah],
وَهَٰذَا الْبَلَدِ الْأَمِينِ UR
At-Tin - 4 Page 597
لَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ فِىٓ أَحْسَنِ تَقْوِيمٍۢ
EN We have certainly created man in the best of stature;
لَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا الْإِنْسَانَ فِي أَحْسَنِ تَقْوِيمٍ UR
At-Tin - 5 Page 597
ثُمَّ رَدَدْنَٰهُ أَسْفَلَ سَٰفِلِينَ
EN Then We return him to the lowest of the low,
ثُمَّ رَدَدْنَاهُ أَسْفَلَ سَافِلِينَ UR
At-Tin - 6 Page 597
إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ فَلَهُمْ أَجْرٌ غَيْرُ مَمْنُونٍۢ
EN Except for those who believe and do righteous deeds, for they will have a reward uninterrupted.
إِلَّا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ فَلَهُمْ أَجْرٌ غَيْرُ مَمْنُونٍ UR
At-Tin - 7 Page 597
فَمَا يُكَذِّبُكَ بَعْدُ بِٱلدِّينِ
EN So what yet causes you to deny the Recompense?
فَمَا يُكَذِّبُكَ بَعْدُ بِالدِّينِ UR
At-Tin - 8 Page 597
أَلَيْسَ ٱللَّهُ بِأَحْكَمِ ٱلْحَٰكِمِينَ
EN Is not Allah the most just of judges?
أَلَيْسَ اللَّهُ بِأَحْكَمِ الْحَاكِمِينَ UR
Al-Alaq - 1 Page 597
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ ٱقْرَأْ بِٱسْمِ رَبِّكَ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ
EN Recite in the name of your Lord who created -
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ اقْرَأْ بِاسْمِ رَبِّكَ الَّذِي خَلَقَ UR
Al-Alaq - 2 Page 597
خَلَقَ ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ مِنْ عَلَقٍ
EN Created man from a clinging substance.
خَلَقَ الْإِنْسَانَ مِنْ عَلَقٍ UR
Al-Alaq - 3 Page 597
ٱقْرَأْ وَرَبُّكَ ٱلْأَكْرَمُ
EN Recite, and your Lord is the most Generous -
اقْرَأْ وَرَبُّكَ الْأَكْرَمُ UR
Al-Alaq - 4 Page 597
ٱلَّذِى عَلَّمَ بِٱلْقَلَمِ
EN Who taught by the pen -
الَّذِي عَلَّمَ بِالْقَلَمِ UR
Al-Alaq - 5 Page 597
عَلَّمَ ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ مَا لَمْ يَعْلَمْ
EN Taught man that which he knew not.
عَلَّمَ الْإِنْسَانَ مَا لَمْ يَعْلَمْ UR
Al-Alaq - 6 Page 597
كَلَّآ إِنَّ ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ لَيَطْغَىٰٓ
EN No! [But] indeed, man transgresses
كَلَّا إِنَّ الْإِنْسَانَ لَيَطْغَىٰ UR
Al-Alaq - 7 Page 597
أَن رَّءَاهُ ٱسْتَغْنَىٰٓ
EN Because he sees himself self-sufficient.
أَنْ رَآهُ اسْتَغْنَىٰ UR
Al-Alaq - 8 Page 597
إِنَّ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ ٱلرُّجْعَىٰٓ
EN Indeed, to your Lord is the return.
إِنَّ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ الرُّجْعَىٰ UR
Al-Alaq - 9 Page 597
أَرَءَيْتَ ٱلَّذِى يَنْهَىٰ
EN Have you seen the one who forbids
أَرَأَيْتَ الَّذِي يَنْهَىٰ UR
Al-Alaq - 10 Page 597
عَبْدًا إِذَا صَلَّىٰٓ
EN A servant when he prays?
عَبْدًا إِذَا صَلَّىٰ UR
Al-Alaq - 11 Page 597
أَرَءَيْتَ إِن كَانَ عَلَى ٱلْهُدَىٰٓ
EN Have you seen if he is upon guidance
أَرَأَيْتَ إِنْ كَانَ عَلَى الْهُدَىٰ UR
Al-Alaq - 12 Page 597
أَوْ أَمَرَ بِٱلتَّقْوَىٰٓ
EN Or enjoins righteousness?
أَوْ أَمَرَ بِالتَّقْوَىٰ UR
Al-Alaq - 13 Page 597
أَرَءَيْتَ إِن كَذَّبَ وَتَوَلَّىٰٓ
EN Have you seen if he denies and turns away -
أَرَأَيْتَ إِنْ كَذَّبَ وَتَوَلَّىٰ UR
Al-Alaq - 14 Page 597
أَلَمْ يَعْلَم بِأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَرَىٰ
EN Does he not know that Allah sees?
أَلَمْ يَعْلَمْ بِأَنَّ اللَّهَ يَرَىٰ UR
Al-Alaq - 15 Page 597
كَلَّا لَئِن لَّمْ يَنتَهِ لَنَسْفَعًۢا بِٱلنَّاصِيَةِ
EN No! If he does not desist, We will surely drag him by the forelock -
كَلَّا لَئِنْ لَمْ يَنْتَهِ لَنَسْفَعًا بِالنَّاصِيَةِ UR
Al-Alaq - 16 Page 597
نَاصِيَةٍۢ كَٰذِبَةٍ خَاطِئَةٍۢ
EN A lying, sinning forelock.
نَاصِيَةٍ كَاذِبَةٍ خَاطِئَةٍ UR
Al-Alaq - 17 Page 597
فَلْيَدْعُ نَادِيَهُۥ
EN Then let him call his associates;
فَلْيَدْعُ نَادِيَهُ UR
Al-Alaq - 18 Page 597
سَنَدْعُ ٱلزَّبَانِيَةَ
EN We will call the angels of Hell.
سَنَدْعُ الزَّبَانِيَةَ UR
Al-Alaq - 19 Page 597
كَلَّا لَا تُطِعْهُ وَٱسْجُدْ وَٱقْتَرِب ۩
EN No! Do not obey him. But prostrate and draw near [to Allah].
كَلَّا لَا تُطِعْهُ وَاسْجُدْ وَاقْتَرِبْ ۩ UR
Al-Qadr - 1 Page 598
بِّسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ إِنَّآ أَنزَلْنَٰهُ فِى لَيْلَةِ ٱلْقَدْرِ
EN Indeed, We sent the Qur'an down during the Night of Decree.
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ إِنَّا أَنْزَلْنَاهُ فِي لَيْلَةِ الْقَدْرِ UR
Al-Qadr - 2 Page 598
وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا لَيْلَةُ ٱلْقَدْرِ
EN And what can make you know what is the Night of Decree?
وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا لَيْلَةُ الْقَدْرِ UR
Al-Qadr - 3 Page 598
لَيْلَةُ ٱلْقَدْرِ خَيْرٌۭ مِّنْ أَلْفِ شَهْرٍۢ
EN The Night of Decree is better than a thousand months.
لَيْلَةُ الْقَدْرِ خَيْرٌ مِنْ أَلْفِ شَهْرٍ UR
Al-Qadr - 4 Page 598
تَنَزَّلُ ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ وَٱلرُّوحُ فِيهَا بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهِم مِّن كُلِّ أَمْرٍۢ
EN The angels and the Spirit descend therein by permission of their Lord for every matter.
تَنَزَّلُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ وَالرُّوحُ فِيهَا بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهِمْ مِنْ كُلِّ أَمْرٍ UR
Al-Qadr - 5 Page 598
سَلَٰمٌ هِىَ حَتَّىٰ مَطْلَعِ ٱلْفَجْرِ
EN Peace it is until the emergence of dawn.
سَلَامٌ هِيَ حَتَّىٰ مَطْلَعِ الْفَجْرِ UR
Al-Bayyina - 1 Page 598
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ لَمْ يَكُنِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ مِنْ أَهْلِ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ وَٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ مُنفَكِّينَ حَتَّىٰ تَأْتِيَهُمُ ٱلْبَيِّنَةُ
EN Those who disbelieved among the People of the Scripture and the polytheists were not to be parted [from misbelief] until there came to them clear evidence -
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ لَمْ يَكُنِ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ وَالْمُشْرِكِينَ مُنْفَكِّينَ حَتَّىٰ تَأْتِيَهُمُ الْبَيِّنَةُ UR
Al-Bayyina - 2 Page 598
رَسُولٌۭ مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ يَتْلُوا۟ صُحُفًۭا مُّطَهَّرَةًۭ
EN A Messenger from Allah, reciting purified scriptures
رَسُولٌ مِنَ اللَّهِ يَتْلُو صُحُفًا مُطَهَّرَةً UR
Al-Bayyina - 3 Page 598
فِيهَا كُتُبٌۭ قَيِّمَةٌۭ
EN Within which are correct writings.
فِيهَا كُتُبٌ قَيِّمَةٌ UR
Al-Bayyina - 4 Page 598
وَمَا تَفَرَّقَ ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُوا۟ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ إِلَّا مِنۢ بَعْدِ مَا جَآءَتْهُمُ ٱلْبَيِّنَةُ
EN Nor did those who were given the Scripture become divided until after there had come to them clear evidence.
وَمَا تَفَرَّقَ الَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْكِتَابَ إِلَّا مِنْ بَعْدِ مَا جَاءَتْهُمُ الْبَيِّنَةُ UR
Al-Bayyina - 5 Page 598
وَمَآ أُمِرُوٓا۟ إِلَّا لِيَعْبُدُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ مُخْلِصِينَ لَهُ ٱلدِّينَ حُنَفَآءَ وَيُقِيمُوا۟ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَيُؤْتُوا۟ ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ ۚ وَذَٰلِكَ دِينُ ٱلْقَيِّمَةِ
EN And they were not commanded except to worship Allah, [being] sincere to Him in religion, inclining to truth, and to establish prayer and to give zakah. And that is the correct religion.
وَمَا أُمِرُوا إِلَّا لِيَعْبُدُوا اللَّهَ مُخْلِصِينَ لَهُ الدِّينَ حُنَفَاءَ وَيُقِيمُوا الصَّلَاةَ وَيُؤْتُوا الزَّكَاةَ ۚ وَذَٰلِكَ دِينُ الْقَيِّمَةِ UR
Al-Bayyina - 6 Page 598
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ مِنْ أَهْلِ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ وَٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ فِى نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَآ ۚ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمْ شَرُّ ٱلْبَرِيَّةِ
EN Indeed, they who disbelieved among the People of the Scripture and the polytheists will be in the fire of Hell, abiding eternally therein. Those are the worst of creatures.
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ وَالْمُشْرِكِينَ فِي نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا ۚ أُولَٰئِكَ هُمْ شَرُّ الْبَرِيَّةِ UR
Al-Bayyina - 7 Page 598
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمْ خَيْرُ ٱلْبَرِيَّةِ
EN Indeed, they who have believed and done righteous deeds - those are the best of creatures.
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ أُولَٰئِكَ هُمْ خَيْرُ الْبَرِيَّةِ UR
Al-Bayyina - 8 Page 599
جَزَآؤُهُمْ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ جَنَّٰتُ عَدْنٍۢ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَآ أَبَدًۭا ۖ رَّضِىَ ٱللَّهُ عَنْهُمْ وَرَضُوا۟ عَنْهُ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ لِمَنْ خَشِىَ رَبَّهُۥ
EN Their reward with Allah will be gardens of perpetual residence beneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide forever, Allah being pleased with them and they with Him. That is for whoever has feared his Lord.
جَزَاؤُهُمْ عِنْدَ رَبِّهِمْ جَنَّاتُ عَدْنٍ تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا أَبَدًا ۖ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمْ وَرَضُوا عَنْهُ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ لِمَنْ خَشِيَ رَبَّهُ UR
Az-Zalzala - 1 Page 599
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ إِذَا زُلْزِلَتِ ٱلْأَرْضُ زِلْزَالَهَا
EN When the earth is shaken with its [final] earthquake
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ إِذَا زُلْزِلَتِ الْأَرْضُ زِلْزَالَهَا UR
Az-Zalzala - 2 Page 599
وَأَخْرَجَتِ ٱلْأَرْضُ أَثْقَالَهَا
EN And the earth discharges its burdens
وَأَخْرَجَتِ الْأَرْضُ أَثْقَالَهَا UR
Az-Zalzala - 3 Page 599
وَقَالَ ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ مَا لَهَا
EN And man says, "What is [wrong] with it?" -
وَقَالَ الْإِنْسَانُ مَا لَهَا UR
Az-Zalzala - 4 Page 599
يَوْمَئِذٍۢ تُحَدِّثُ أَخْبَارَهَا
EN That Day, it will report its news
يَوْمَئِذٍ تُحَدِّثُ أَخْبَارَهَا UR
Az-Zalzala - 5 Page 599
بِأَنَّ رَبَّكَ أَوْحَىٰ لَهَا
EN Because your Lord has commanded it.
بِأَنَّ رَبَّكَ أَوْحَىٰ لَهَا UR
Az-Zalzala - 6 Page 599
يَوْمَئِذٍۢ يَصْدُرُ ٱلنَّاسُ أَشْتَاتًۭا لِّيُرَوْا۟ أَعْمَٰلَهُمْ
EN That Day, the people will depart separated [into categories] to be shown [the result of] their deeds.
يَوْمَئِذٍ يَصْدُرُ النَّاسُ أَشْتَاتًا لِيُرَوْا أَعْمَالَهُمْ UR
Az-Zalzala - 7 Page 599
فَمَن يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ خَيْرًۭا يَرَهُۥ
EN So whoever does an atom's weight of good will see it,
فَمَنْ يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ خَيْرًا يَرَهُ UR
Az-Zalzala - 8 Page 599
وَمَن يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍۢ شَرًّۭا يَرَهُۥ
EN And whoever does an atom's weight of evil will see it.
وَمَنْ يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ شَرًّا يَرَهُ UR
Al-Aadiyaat - 1 Page 599
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ وَٱلْعَٰدِيَٰتِ ضَبْحًۭا
EN By the racers, panting,
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ وَالْعَادِيَاتِ ضَبْحًا UR
Al-Aadiyaat - 2 Page 599
فَٱلْمُورِيَٰتِ قَدْحًۭا
EN And the producers of sparks [when] striking
فَالْمُورِيَاتِ قَدْحًا UR
Al-Aadiyaat - 3 Page 599
فَٱلْمُغِيرَٰتِ صُبْحًۭا
EN And the chargers at dawn,
فَالْمُغِيرَاتِ صُبْحًا UR
Al-Aadiyaat - 4 Page 599
فَأَثَرْنَ بِهِۦ نَقْعًۭا
EN Stirring up thereby [clouds of] dust,
فَأَثَرْنَ بِهِ نَقْعًا UR
Al-Aadiyaat - 5 Page 599
فَوَسَطْنَ بِهِۦ جَمْعًا
EN Arriving thereby in the center collectively,
فَوَسَطْنَ بِهِ جَمْعًا UR
Al-Aadiyaat - 6 Page 599
إِنَّ ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ لِرَبِّهِۦ لَكَنُودٌۭ
EN Indeed mankind, to his Lord, is ungrateful.
إِنَّ الْإِنْسَانَ لِرَبِّهِ لَكَنُودٌ UR
Al-Aadiyaat - 7 Page 599
وَإِنَّهُۥ عَلَىٰ ذَٰلِكَ لَشَهِيدٌۭ
EN And indeed, he is to that a witness.
وَإِنَّهُ عَلَىٰ ذَٰلِكَ لَشَهِيدٌ UR
Al-Aadiyaat - 8 Page 599
وَإِنَّهُۥ لِحُبِّ ٱلْخَيْرِ لَشَدِيدٌ
EN And indeed he is, in love of wealth, intense.
وَإِنَّهُ لِحُبِّ الْخَيْرِ لَشَدِيدٌ UR
Al-Aadiyaat - 9 Page 599
۞ أَفَلَا يَعْلَمُ إِذَا بُعْثِرَ مَا فِى ٱلْقُبُورِ
EN But does he not know that when the contents of the graves are scattered
۞ أَفَلَا يَعْلَمُ إِذَا بُعْثِرَ مَا فِي الْقُبُورِ UR
Al-Aadiyaat - 10 Page 600
وَحُصِّلَ مَا فِى ٱلصُّدُورِ
EN And that within the breasts is obtained,
وَحُصِّلَ مَا فِي الصُّدُورِ UR
Al-Aadiyaat - 11 Page 600
إِنَّ رَبَّهُم بِهِمْ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ لَّخَبِيرٌۢ
EN Indeed, their Lord with them, that Day, is [fully] Acquainted.
إِنَّ رَبَّهُمْ بِهِمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ لَخَبِيرٌ UR
Al-Qaari'a - 1 Page 600
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ ٱلْقَارِعَةُ
EN The Striking Calamity -
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ الْقَارِعَةُ UR
Al-Qaari'a - 2 Page 600
مَا ٱلْقَارِعَةُ
EN What is the Striking Calamity?
مَا الْقَارِعَةُ UR
Al-Qaari'a - 3 Page 600
وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا ٱلْقَارِعَةُ
EN And what can make you know what is the Striking Calamity?
وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا الْقَارِعَةُ UR
Al-Qaari'a - 4 Page 600
يَوْمَ يَكُونُ ٱلنَّاسُ كَٱلْفَرَاشِ ٱلْمَبْثُوثِ
EN It is the Day when people will be like moths, dispersed,
يَوْمَ يَكُونُ النَّاسُ كَالْفَرَاشِ الْمَبْثُوثِ UR
Al-Qaari'a - 5 Page 600
وَتَكُونُ ٱلْجِبَالُ كَٱلْعِهْنِ ٱلْمَنفُوشِ
EN And the mountains will be like wool, fluffed up.
وَتَكُونُ الْجِبَالُ كَالْعِهْنِ الْمَنْفُوشِ UR
Al-Qaari'a - 6 Page 600
فَأَمَّا مَن ثَقُلَتْ مَوَٰزِينُهُۥ
EN Then as for one whose scales are heavy [with good deeds],
فَأَمَّا مَنْ ثَقُلَتْ مَوَازِينُهُ UR
Al-Qaari'a - 7 Page 600
فَهُوَ فِى عِيشَةٍۢ رَّاضِيَةٍۢ
EN He will be in a pleasant life.
فَهُوَ فِي عِيشَةٍ رَاضِيَةٍ UR
Al-Qaari'a - 8 Page 600
وَأَمَّا مَنْ خَفَّتْ مَوَٰزِينُهُۥ
EN But as for one whose scales are light,
وَأَمَّا مَنْ خَفَّتْ مَوَازِينُهُ UR
Al-Qaari'a - 9 Page 600
فَأُمُّهُۥ هَاوِيَةٌۭ
EN His refuge will be an abyss.
فَأُمُّهُ هَاوِيَةٌ UR
Al-Qaari'a - 10 Page 600
وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا هِيَهْ
EN And what can make you know what that is?
وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا هِيَهْ UR
Al-Qaari'a - 11 Page 600
نَارٌ حَامِيَةٌۢ
EN It is a Fire, intensely hot.
نَارٌ حَامِيَةٌ UR
At-Takaathur - 1 Page 600
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ أَلْهَىٰكُمُ ٱلتَّكَاثُرُ
EN Competition in [worldly] increase diverts you
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ أَلْهَاكُمُ التَّكَاثُرُ UR
At-Takaathur - 2 Page 600
حَتَّىٰ زُرْتُمُ ٱلْمَقَابِرَ
EN Until you visit the graveyards.
حَتَّىٰ زُرْتُمُ الْمَقَابِرَ UR
At-Takaathur - 3 Page 600
كَلَّا سَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ
EN No! You are going to know.
كَلَّا سَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ UR
At-Takaathur - 4 Page 600
ثُمَّ كَلَّا سَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ
EN Then no! You are going to know.
ثُمَّ كَلَّا سَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ UR
At-Takaathur - 5 Page 600
كَلَّا لَوْ تَعْلَمُونَ عِلْمَ ٱلْيَقِينِ
EN No! If you only knew with knowledge of certainty...
كَلَّا لَوْ تَعْلَمُونَ عِلْمَ الْيَقِينِ UR
At-Takaathur - 6 Page 600
لَتَرَوُنَّ ٱلْجَحِيمَ
EN You will surely see the Hellfire.
لَتَرَوُنَّ الْجَحِيمَ UR
At-Takaathur - 7 Page 600
ثُمَّ لَتَرَوُنَّهَا عَيْنَ ٱلْيَقِينِ
EN Then you will surely see it with the eye of certainty.
ثُمَّ لَتَرَوُنَّهَا عَيْنَ الْيَقِينِ UR
At-Takaathur - 8 Page 600
ثُمَّ لَتُسْـَٔلُنَّ يَوْمَئِذٍ عَنِ ٱلنَّعِيمِ
EN Then you will surely be asked that Day about pleasure.
ثُمَّ لَتُسْأَلُنَّ يَوْمَئِذٍ عَنِ النَّعِيمِ UR
Al-Asr - 1 Page 601
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ وَٱلْعَصْرِ
EN By time,
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ وَالْعَصْرِ UR
Al-Asr - 2 Page 601
إِنَّ ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ لَفِى خُسْرٍ
EN Indeed, mankind is in loss,
إِنَّ الْإِنْسَانَ لَفِي خُسْرٍ UR
Al-Asr - 3 Page 601
إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ وَتَوَاصَوْا۟ بِٱلْحَقِّ وَتَوَاصَوْا۟ بِٱلصَّبْرِ
EN Except for those who have believed and done righteous deeds and advised each other to truth and advised each other to patience.
إِلَّا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ وَتَوَاصَوْا بِالْحَقِّ وَتَوَاصَوْا بِالصَّبْرِ UR
Al-Humaza - 1 Page 601
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ وَيْلٌۭ لِّكُلِّ هُمَزَةٍۢ لُّمَزَةٍ
EN Woe to every scorner and mocker
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ وَيْلٌ لِكُلِّ هُمَزَةٍ لُمَزَةٍ UR
Al-Humaza - 2 Page 601
ٱلَّذِى جَمَعَ مَالًۭا وَعَدَّدَهُۥ
EN Who collects wealth and [continuously] counts it.
الَّذِي جَمَعَ مَالًا وَعَدَّدَهُ UR
Al-Humaza - 3 Page 601
يَحْسَبُ أَنَّ مَالَهُۥٓ أَخْلَدَهُۥ
EN He thinks that his wealth will make him immortal.
يَحْسَبُ أَنَّ مَالَهُ أَخْلَدَهُ UR
Al-Humaza - 4 Page 601
كَلَّا ۖ لَيُنۢبَذَنَّ فِى ٱلْحُطَمَةِ
EN No! He will surely be thrown into the Crusher.
كَلَّا ۖ لَيُنْبَذَنَّ فِي الْحُطَمَةِ UR
Al-Humaza - 5 Page 601
وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا ٱلْحُطَمَةُ
EN And what can make you know what is the Crusher?
وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا الْحُطَمَةُ UR
Al-Humaza - 6 Page 601
نَارُ ٱللَّهِ ٱلْمُوقَدَةُ
EN It is the fire of Allah, [eternally] fueled,
نَارُ اللَّهِ الْمُوقَدَةُ UR
Al-Humaza - 7 Page 601
ٱلَّتِى تَطَّلِعُ عَلَى ٱلْأَفْـِٔدَةِ
EN Which mounts directed at the hearts.
الَّتِي تَطَّلِعُ عَلَى الْأَفْئِدَةِ UR
Al-Humaza - 8 Page 601
إِنَّهَا عَلَيْهِم مُّؤْصَدَةٌۭ
EN Indeed, Hellfire will be closed down upon them
إِنَّهَا عَلَيْهِمْ مُؤْصَدَةٌ UR
Al-Humaza - 9 Page 601
فِى عَمَدٍۢ مُّمَدَّدَةٍۭ
EN In extended columns.
فِي عَمَدٍ مُمَدَّدَةٍ UR
Al-Fil - 1 Page 601
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ أَلَمْ تَرَ كَيْفَ فَعَلَ رَبُّكَ بِأَصْحَٰبِ ٱلْفِيلِ
EN Have you not considered, [O Muhammad], how your Lord dealt with the companions of the elephant?
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ أَلَمْ تَرَ كَيْفَ فَعَلَ رَبُّكَ بِأَصْحَابِ الْفِيلِ UR
Al-Fil - 2 Page 601
أَلَمْ يَجْعَلْ كَيْدَهُمْ فِى تَضْلِيلٍۢ
EN Did He not make their plan into misguidance?
أَلَمْ يَجْعَلْ كَيْدَهُمْ فِي تَضْلِيلٍ UR
Al-Fil - 3 Page 601
وَأَرْسَلَ عَلَيْهِمْ طَيْرًا أَبَابِيلَ
EN And He sent against them birds in flocks,
وَأَرْسَلَ عَلَيْهِمْ طَيْرًا أَبَابِيلَ UR
Al-Fil - 4 Page 601
تَرْمِيهِم بِحِجَارَةٍۢ مِّن سِجِّيلٍۢ
EN Striking them with stones of hard clay,
تَرْمِيهِمْ بِحِجَارَةٍ مِنْ سِجِّيلٍ UR
Al-Fil - 5 Page 601
فَجَعَلَهُمْ كَعَصْفٍۢ مَّأْكُولٍۭ
EN And He made them like eaten straw.
فَجَعَلَهُمْ كَعَصْفٍ مَأْكُولٍ UR
Quraish - 1 Page 602
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ لِإِيلَٰفِ قُرَيْشٍ
EN For the accustomed security of the Quraysh -
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ لِإِيلَافِ قُرَيْشٍ UR
Quraish - 2 Page 602
إِۦلَٰفِهِمْ رِحْلَةَ ٱلشِّتَآءِ وَٱلصَّيْفِ
EN Their accustomed security [in] the caravan of winter and summer -
إِيلَافِهِمْ رِحْلَةَ الشِّتَاءِ وَالصَّيْفِ UR
Quraish - 3 Page 602
فَلْيَعْبُدُوا۟ رَبَّ هَٰذَا ٱلْبَيْتِ
EN Let them worship the Lord of this House,
فَلْيَعْبُدُوا رَبَّ هَٰذَا الْبَيْتِ UR
Quraish - 4 Page 602
ٱلَّذِىٓ أَطْعَمَهُم مِّن جُوعٍۢ وَءَامَنَهُم مِّنْ خَوْفٍۭ
EN Who has fed them, [saving them] from hunger and made them safe, [saving them] from fear.
الَّذِي أَطْعَمَهُمْ مِنْ جُوعٍ وَآمَنَهُمْ مِنْ خَوْفٍ UR
Al-Maa'un - 1 Page 602
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ أَرَءَيْتَ ٱلَّذِى يُكَذِّبُ بِٱلدِّينِ
EN Have you seen the one who denies the Recompense?
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ أَرَأَيْتَ الَّذِي يُكَذِّبُ بِالدِّينِ UR
Al-Maa'un - 2 Page 602
فَذَٰلِكَ ٱلَّذِى يَدُعُّ ٱلْيَتِيمَ
EN For that is the one who drives away the orphan
فَذَٰلِكَ الَّذِي يَدُعُّ الْيَتِيمَ UR
Al-Maa'un - 3 Page 602
وَلَا يَحُضُّ عَلَىٰ طَعَامِ ٱلْمِسْكِينِ
EN And does not encourage the feeding of the poor.
وَلَا يَحُضُّ عَلَىٰ طَعَامِ الْمِسْكِينِ UR
Al-Maa'un - 4 Page 602
فَوَيْلٌۭ لِّلْمُصَلِّينَ
EN So woe to those who pray
فَوَيْلٌ لِلْمُصَلِّينَ UR
Al-Maa'un - 5 Page 602
ٱلَّذِينَ هُمْ عَن صَلَاتِهِمْ سَاهُونَ
EN [But] who are heedless of their prayer -
الَّذِينَ هُمْ عَنْ صَلَاتِهِمْ سَاهُونَ UR
Al-Maa'un - 6 Page 602
ٱلَّذِينَ هُمْ يُرَآءُونَ
EN Those who make show [of their deeds]
الَّذِينَ هُمْ يُرَاءُونَ UR
Al-Maa'un - 7 Page 602
وَيَمْنَعُونَ ٱلْمَاعُونَ
EN And withhold [simple] assistance.
وَيَمْنَعُونَ الْمَاعُونَ UR
Al-Kawthar - 1 Page 602
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ إِنَّآ أَعْطَيْنَٰكَ ٱلْكَوْثَرَ
EN Indeed, We have granted you, [O Muhammad], al-Kawthar.
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ إِنَّا أَعْطَيْنَاكَ الْكَوْثَرَ UR
Al-Kawthar - 2 Page 602
فَصَلِّ لِرَبِّكَ وَٱنْحَرْ
EN So pray to your Lord and sacrifice [to Him alone].
فَصَلِّ لِرَبِّكَ وَانْحَرْ UR
Al-Kawthar - 3 Page 602
إِنَّ شَانِئَكَ هُوَ ٱلْأَبْتَرُ
EN Indeed, your enemy is the one cut off.
إِنَّ شَانِئَكَ هُوَ الْأَبْتَرُ UR
Al-Kaafiroon - 1 Page 603
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ قُلْ يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلْكَٰفِرُونَ
EN Say, "O disbelievers,
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ قُلْ يَا أَيُّهَا الْكَافِرُونَ UR
Al-Kaafiroon - 2 Page 603
لَآ أَعْبُدُ مَا تَعْبُدُونَ
EN I do not worship what you worship.
لَا أَعْبُدُ مَا تَعْبُدُونَ UR
Al-Kaafiroon - 3 Page 603
وَلَآ أَنتُمْ عَٰبِدُونَ مَآ أَعْبُدُ
EN Nor are you worshippers of what I worship.
وَلَا أَنْتُمْ عَابِدُونَ مَا أَعْبُدُ UR
Al-Kaafiroon - 4 Page 603
وَلَآ أَنَا۠ عَابِدٌۭ مَّا عَبَدتُّمْ
EN Nor will I be a worshipper of what you worship.
وَلَا أَنَا عَابِدٌ مَا عَبَدْتُمْ UR
Al-Kaafiroon - 5 Page 603
وَلَآ أَنتُمْ عَٰبِدُونَ مَآ أَعْبُدُ
EN Nor will you be worshippers of what I worship.
وَلَا أَنْتُمْ عَابِدُونَ مَا أَعْبُدُ UR
Al-Kaafiroon - 6 Page 603
لَكُمْ دِينُكُمْ وَلِىَ دِينِ
EN For you is your religion, and for me is my religion."
لَكُمْ دِينُكُمْ وَلِيَ دِينِ UR
An-Nasr - 1 Page 603
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ إِذَا جَآءَ نَصْرُ ٱللَّهِ وَٱلْفَتْحُ
EN When the victory of Allah has come and the conquest,
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ إِذَا جَاءَ نَصْرُ اللَّهِ وَالْفَتْحُ UR
An-Nasr - 2 Page 603
وَرَأَيْتَ ٱلنَّاسَ يَدْخُلُونَ فِى دِينِ ٱللَّهِ أَفْوَاجًۭا
EN And you see the people entering into the religion of Allah in multitudes,
وَرَأَيْتَ النَّاسَ يَدْخُلُونَ فِي دِينِ اللَّهِ أَفْوَاجًا UR
An-Nasr - 3 Page 603
فَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّكَ وَٱسْتَغْفِرْهُ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ تَوَّابًۢا
EN Then exalt [Him] with praise of your Lord and ask forgiveness of Him. Indeed, He is ever Accepting of repentance.
فَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّكَ وَاسْتَغْفِرْهُ ۚ إِنَّهُ كَانَ تَوَّابًا UR
Al-Masad - 1 Page 603
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ تَبَّتْ يَدَآ أَبِى لَهَبٍۢ وَتَبَّ
EN May the hands of Abu Lahab be ruined, and ruined is he.
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ تَبَّتْ يَدَا أَبِي لَهَبٍ وَتَبَّ UR
Al-Masad - 2 Page 603
مَآ أَغْنَىٰ عَنْهُ مَالُهُۥ وَمَا كَسَبَ
EN His wealth will not avail him or that which he gained.
مَا أَغْنَىٰ عَنْهُ مَالُهُ وَمَا كَسَبَ UR
Al-Masad - 3 Page 603
سَيَصْلَىٰ نَارًۭا ذَاتَ لَهَبٍۢ
EN He will [enter to] burn in a Fire of [blazing] flame
سَيَصْلَىٰ نَارًا ذَاتَ لَهَبٍ UR
Al-Masad - 4 Page 603
وَٱمْرَأَتُهُۥ حَمَّالَةَ ٱلْحَطَبِ
EN And his wife [as well] - the carrier of firewood.
وَامْرَأَتُهُ حَمَّالَةَ الْحَطَبِ UR
Al-Masad - 5 Page 603
فِى جِيدِهَا حَبْلٌۭ مِّن مَّسَدٍۭ
EN Around her neck is a rope of [twisted] fiber.
فِي جِيدِهَا حَبْلٌ مِنْ مَسَدٍ UR
Al-Ikhlaas - 1 Page 604
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ قُلْ هُوَ ٱللَّهُ أَحَدٌ
EN Say, "He is Allah, [who is] One,
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ UR
Al-Ikhlaas - 2 Page 604
ٱللَّهُ ٱلصَّمَدُ
EN Allah, the Eternal Refuge.
اللَّهُ الصَّمَدُ UR
Al-Ikhlaas - 3 Page 604
لَمْ يَلِدْ وَلَمْ يُولَدْ
EN He neither begets nor is born,
لَمْ يَلِدْ وَلَمْ يُولَدْ UR
Al-Ikhlaas - 4 Page 604
وَلَمْ يَكُن لَّهُۥ كُفُوًا أَحَدٌۢ
EN Nor is there to Him any equivalent."
وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ كُفُوًا أَحَدٌ UR
Al-Falaq - 1 Page 604
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ ٱلْفَلَقِ
EN Say, "I seek refuge in the Lord of daybreak
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِ UR
Al-Falaq - 2 Page 604
مِن شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ
EN From the evil of that which He created
مِنْ شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ UR
Al-Falaq - 3 Page 604
وَمِن شَرِّ غَاسِقٍ إِذَا وَقَبَ
EN And from the evil of darkness when it settles
وَمِنْ شَرِّ غَاسِقٍ إِذَا وَقَبَ UR
Al-Falaq - 4 Page 604
وَمِن شَرِّ ٱلنَّفَّٰثَٰتِ فِى ٱلْعُقَدِ
EN And from the evil of the blowers in knots
وَمِنْ شَرِّ النَّفَّاثَاتِ فِي الْعُقَدِ UR
Al-Falaq - 5 Page 604
وَمِن شَرِّ حَاسِدٍ إِذَا حَسَدَ
EN And from the evil of an envier when he envies."
وَمِنْ شَرِّ حَاسِدٍ إِذَا حَسَدَ UR
An-Naas - 1 Page 604
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ ٱلنَّاسِ
EN Say, "I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind,
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ النَّاسِ UR
An-Naas - 2 Page 604
مَلِكِ ٱلنَّاسِ
EN The Sovereign of mankind.
مَلِكِ النَّاسِ UR
An-Naas - 3 Page 604
إِلَٰهِ ٱلنَّاسِ
EN The God of mankind,
إِلَٰهِ النَّاسِ UR
An-Naas - 4 Page 604
مِن شَرِّ ٱلْوَسْوَاسِ ٱلْخَنَّاسِ
EN From the evil of the retreating whisperer -
مِنْ شَرِّ الْوَسْوَاسِ الْخَنَّاسِ UR
An-Naas - 5 Page 604
ٱلَّذِى يُوَسْوِسُ فِى صُدُورِ ٱلنَّاسِ
EN Who whispers [evil] into the breasts of mankind -
الَّذِي يُوَسْوِسُ فِي صُدُورِ النَّاسِ UR
An-Naas - 6 Page 604
مِنَ ٱلْجِنَّةِ وَٱلنَّاسِ
EN From among the jinn and mankind."
مِنَ الْجِنَّةِ وَالنَّاسِ UR
