Para 23 • 357 Verses

Yaseen - 28 Page 442
۞ وَمَآ أَنزَلْنَا عَلَىٰ قَوْمِهِۦ مِنۢ بَعْدِهِۦ مِن جُندٍۢ مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَمَا كُنَّا مُنزِلِينَ
EN And We did not send down upon his people after him any soldiers from the heaven, nor would We have done so.
۞ وَمَا أَنْزَلْنَا عَلَىٰ قَوْمِهِ مِنْ بَعْدِهِ مِنْ جُنْدٍ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ وَمَا كُنَّا مُنْزِلِينَ UR
Yaseen - 29 Page 442
إِن كَانَتْ إِلَّا صَيْحَةًۭ وَٰحِدَةًۭ فَإِذَا هُمْ خَٰمِدُونَ
EN It was not but one shout, and immediately they were extinguished.
إِنْ كَانَتْ إِلَّا صَيْحَةً وَاحِدَةً فَإِذَا هُمْ خَامِدُونَ UR
Yaseen - 30 Page 442
يَٰحَسْرَةً عَلَى ٱلْعِبَادِ ۚ مَا يَأْتِيهِم مِّن رَّسُولٍ إِلَّا كَانُوا۟ بِهِۦ يَسْتَهْزِءُونَ
EN How regretful for the servants. There did not come to them any messenger except that they used to ridicule him.
يَا حَسْرَةً عَلَى الْعِبَادِ ۚ مَا يَأْتِيهِمْ مِنْ رَسُولٍ إِلَّا كَانُوا بِهِ يَسْتَهْزِئُونَ UR
Yaseen - 31 Page 442
أَلَمْ يَرَوْا۟ كَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا قَبْلَهُم مِّنَ ٱلْقُرُونِ أَنَّهُمْ إِلَيْهِمْ لَا يَرْجِعُونَ
EN Have they not considered how many generations We destroyed before them - that they to them will not return?
أَلَمْ يَرَوْا كَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا قَبْلَهُمْ مِنَ الْقُرُونِ أَنَّهُمْ إِلَيْهِمْ لَا يَرْجِعُونَ UR
Yaseen - 32 Page 442
وَإِن كُلٌّۭ لَّمَّا جَمِيعٌۭ لَّدَيْنَا مُحْضَرُونَ
EN And indeed, all of them will yet be brought present before Us.
وَإِنْ كُلٌّ لَمَّا جَمِيعٌ لَدَيْنَا مُحْضَرُونَ UR
Yaseen - 33 Page 442
وَءَايَةٌۭ لَّهُمُ ٱلْأَرْضُ ٱلْمَيْتَةُ أَحْيَيْنَٰهَا وَأَخْرَجْنَا مِنْهَا حَبًّۭا فَمِنْهُ يَأْكُلُونَ
EN And a sign for them is the dead earth. We have brought it to life and brought forth from it grain, and from it they eat.
وَآيَةٌ لَهُمُ الْأَرْضُ الْمَيْتَةُ أَحْيَيْنَاهَا وَأَخْرَجْنَا مِنْهَا حَبًّا فَمِنْهُ يَأْكُلُونَ UR
Yaseen - 34 Page 442
وَجَعَلْنَا فِيهَا جَنَّٰتٍۢ مِّن نَّخِيلٍۢ وَأَعْنَٰبٍۢ وَفَجَّرْنَا فِيهَا مِنَ ٱلْعُيُونِ
EN And We placed therein gardens of palm trees and grapevines and caused to burst forth therefrom some springs -
وَجَعَلْنَا فِيهَا جَنَّاتٍ مِنْ نَخِيلٍ وَأَعْنَابٍ وَفَجَّرْنَا فِيهَا مِنَ الْعُيُونِ UR
Yaseen - 35 Page 442
لِيَأْكُلُوا۟ مِن ثَمَرِهِۦ وَمَا عَمِلَتْهُ أَيْدِيهِمْ ۖ أَفَلَا يَشْكُرُونَ
EN That they may eat of His fruit. And their hands have not produced it, so will they not be grateful?
لِيَأْكُلُوا مِنْ ثَمَرِهِ وَمَا عَمِلَتْهُ أَيْدِيهِمْ ۖ أَفَلَا يَشْكُرُونَ UR
Yaseen - 36 Page 442
سُبْحَٰنَ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ ٱلْأَزْوَٰجَ كُلَّهَا مِمَّا تُنۢبِتُ ٱلْأَرْضُ وَمِنْ أَنفُسِهِمْ وَمِمَّا لَا يَعْلَمُونَ
EN Exalted is He who created all pairs - from what the earth grows and from themselves and from that which they do not know.
سُبْحَانَ الَّذِي خَلَقَ الْأَزْوَاجَ كُلَّهَا مِمَّا تُنْبِتُ الْأَرْضُ وَمِنْ أَنْفُسِهِمْ وَمِمَّا لَا يَعْلَمُونَ UR
Yaseen - 37 Page 442
وَءَايَةٌۭ لَّهُمُ ٱلَّيْلُ نَسْلَخُ مِنْهُ ٱلنَّهَارَ فَإِذَا هُم مُّظْلِمُونَ
EN And a sign for them is the night. We remove from it [the light of] day, so they are [left] in darkness.
وَآيَةٌ لَهُمُ اللَّيْلُ نَسْلَخُ مِنْهُ النَّهَارَ فَإِذَا هُمْ مُظْلِمُونَ UR
Yaseen - 38 Page 442
وَٱلشَّمْسُ تَجْرِى لِمُسْتَقَرٍّۢ لَّهَا ۚ ذَٰلِكَ تَقْدِيرُ ٱلْعَزِيزِ ٱلْعَلِيمِ
EN And the sun runs [on course] toward its stopping point. That is the determination of the Exalted in Might, the Knowing.
وَالشَّمْسُ تَجْرِي لِمُسْتَقَرٍّ لَهَا ۚ ذَٰلِكَ تَقْدِيرُ الْعَزِيزِ الْعَلِيمِ UR
Yaseen - 39 Page 442
وَٱلْقَمَرَ قَدَّرْنَٰهُ مَنَازِلَ حَتَّىٰ عَادَ كَٱلْعُرْجُونِ ٱلْقَدِيمِ
EN And the moon - We have determined for it phases, until it returns [appearing] like the old date stalk.
وَالْقَمَرَ قَدَّرْنَاهُ مَنَازِلَ حَتَّىٰ عَادَ كَالْعُرْجُونِ الْقَدِيمِ UR
Yaseen - 40 Page 442
لَا ٱلشَّمْسُ يَنۢبَغِى لَهَآ أَن تُدْرِكَ ٱلْقَمَرَ وَلَا ٱلَّيْلُ سَابِقُ ٱلنَّهَارِ ۚ وَكُلٌّۭ فِى فَلَكٍۢ يَسْبَحُونَ
EN It is not allowable for the sun to reach the moon, nor does the night overtake the day, but each, in an orbit, is swimming.
لَا الشَّمْسُ يَنْبَغِي لَهَا أَنْ تُدْرِكَ الْقَمَرَ وَلَا اللَّيْلُ سَابِقُ النَّهَارِ ۚ وَكُلٌّ فِي فَلَكٍ يَسْبَحُونَ UR
Yaseen - 41 Page 443
وَءَايَةٌۭ لَّهُمْ أَنَّا حَمَلْنَا ذُرِّيَّتَهُمْ فِى ٱلْفُلْكِ ٱلْمَشْحُونِ
EN And a sign for them is that We carried their forefathers in a laden ship.
وَآيَةٌ لَهُمْ أَنَّا حَمَلْنَا ذُرِّيَّتَهُمْ فِي الْفُلْكِ الْمَشْحُونِ UR
Yaseen - 42 Page 443
وَخَلَقْنَا لَهُم مِّن مِّثْلِهِۦ مَا يَرْكَبُونَ
EN And We created for them from the likes of it that which they ride.
وَخَلَقْنَا لَهُمْ مِنْ مِثْلِهِ مَا يَرْكَبُونَ UR
Yaseen - 43 Page 443
وَإِن نَّشَأْ نُغْرِقْهُمْ فَلَا صَرِيخَ لَهُمْ وَلَا هُمْ يُنقَذُونَ
EN And if We should will, We could drown them; then no one responding to a cry would there be for them, nor would they be saved
وَإِنْ نَشَأْ نُغْرِقْهُمْ فَلَا صَرِيخَ لَهُمْ وَلَا هُمْ يُنْقَذُونَ UR
Yaseen - 44 Page 443
إِلَّا رَحْمَةًۭ مِّنَّا وَمَتَٰعًا إِلَىٰ حِينٍۢ
EN Except as a mercy from Us and provision for a time.
إِلَّا رَحْمَةً مِنَّا وَمَتَاعًا إِلَىٰ حِينٍ UR
Yaseen - 45 Page 443
وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمُ ٱتَّقُوا۟ مَا بَيْنَ أَيْدِيكُمْ وَمَا خَلْفَكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُونَ
EN But when it is said to them, "Beware of what is before you and what is behind you; perhaps you will receive mercy... "
وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمُ اتَّقُوا مَا بَيْنَ أَيْدِيكُمْ وَمَا خَلْفَكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُونَ UR
Yaseen - 46 Page 443
وَمَا تَأْتِيهِم مِّنْ ءَايَةٍۢ مِّنْ ءَايَٰتِ رَبِّهِمْ إِلَّا كَانُوا۟ عَنْهَا مُعْرِضِينَ
EN And no sign comes to them from the signs of their Lord except that they are from it turning away.
وَمَا تَأْتِيهِمْ مِنْ آيَةٍ مِنْ آيَاتِ رَبِّهِمْ إِلَّا كَانُوا عَنْهَا مُعْرِضِينَ UR
Yaseen - 47 Page 443
وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ أَنفِقُوا۟ مِمَّا رَزَقَكُمُ ٱللَّهُ قَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ لِلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ أَنُطْعِمُ مَن لَّوْ يَشَآءُ ٱللَّهُ أَطْعَمَهُۥٓ إِنْ أَنتُمْ إِلَّا فِى ضَلَٰلٍۢ مُّبِينٍۢ
EN And when it is said to them, "Spend from that which Allah has provided for you," those who disbelieve say to those who believe, "Should we feed one whom, if Allah had willed, He would have fed? You are not but in clear error."
وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ أَنْفِقُوا مِمَّا رَزَقَكُمُ اللَّهُ قَالَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لِلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا أَنُطْعِمُ مَنْ لَوْ يَشَاءُ اللَّهُ أَطْعَمَهُ إِنْ أَنْتُمْ إِلَّا فِي ضَلَالٍ مُبِينٍ UR
Yaseen - 48 Page 443
وَيَقُولُونَ مَتَىٰ هَٰذَا ٱلْوَعْدُ إِن كُنتُمْ صَٰدِقِينَ
EN And they say, "When is this promise, if you should be truthful?"
وَيَقُولُونَ مَتَىٰ هَٰذَا الْوَعْدُ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ صَادِقِينَ UR
Yaseen - 49 Page 443
مَا يَنظُرُونَ إِلَّا صَيْحَةًۭ وَٰحِدَةًۭ تَأْخُذُهُمْ وَهُمْ يَخِصِّمُونَ
EN They do not await except one blast which will seize them while they are disputing.
مَا يَنْظُرُونَ إِلَّا صَيْحَةً وَاحِدَةً تَأْخُذُهُمْ وَهُمْ يَخِصِّمُونَ UR
Yaseen - 50 Page 443
فَلَا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ تَوْصِيَةًۭ وَلَآ إِلَىٰٓ أَهْلِهِمْ يَرْجِعُونَ
EN And they will not be able [to give] any instruction, nor to their people can they return.
فَلَا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ تَوْصِيَةً وَلَا إِلَىٰ أَهْلِهِمْ يَرْجِعُونَ UR
Yaseen - 51 Page 443
وَنُفِخَ فِى ٱلصُّورِ فَإِذَا هُم مِّنَ ٱلْأَجْدَاثِ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِمْ يَنسِلُونَ
EN And the Horn will be blown; and at once from the graves to their Lord they will hasten.
وَنُفِخَ فِي الصُّورِ فَإِذَا هُمْ مِنَ الْأَجْدَاثِ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِمْ يَنْسِلُونَ UR
Yaseen - 52 Page 443
قَالُوا۟ يَٰوَيْلَنَا مَنۢ بَعَثَنَا مِن مَّرْقَدِنَا ۜ ۗ هَٰذَا مَا وَعَدَ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنُ وَصَدَقَ ٱلْمُرْسَلُونَ
EN They will say, "O woe to us! Who has raised us up from our sleeping place?" [The reply will be], "This is what the Most Merciful had promised, and the messengers told the truth."
قَالُوا يَا وَيْلَنَا مَنْ بَعَثَنَا مِنْ مَرْقَدِنَا ۜ ۗ هَٰذَا مَا وَعَدَ الرَّحْمَٰنُ وَصَدَقَ الْمُرْسَلُونَ UR
Yaseen - 53 Page 443
إِن كَانَتْ إِلَّا صَيْحَةًۭ وَٰحِدَةًۭ فَإِذَا هُمْ جَمِيعٌۭ لَّدَيْنَا مُحْضَرُونَ
EN It will not be but one blast, and at once they are all brought present before Us.
إِنْ كَانَتْ إِلَّا صَيْحَةً وَاحِدَةً فَإِذَا هُمْ جَمِيعٌ لَدَيْنَا مُحْضَرُونَ UR
Yaseen - 54 Page 443
فَٱلْيَوْمَ لَا تُظْلَمُ نَفْسٌۭ شَيْـًۭٔا وَلَا تُجْزَوْنَ إِلَّا مَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ
EN So today no soul will be wronged at all, and you will not be recompensed except for what you used to do.
فَالْيَوْمَ لَا تُظْلَمُ نَفْسٌ شَيْئًا وَلَا تُجْزَوْنَ إِلَّا مَا كُنْتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ UR
Yaseen - 55 Page 444
إِنَّ أَصْحَٰبَ ٱلْجَنَّةِ ٱلْيَوْمَ فِى شُغُلٍۢ فَٰكِهُونَ
EN Indeed the companions of Paradise, that Day, will be amused in [joyful] occupation -
إِنَّ أَصْحَابَ الْجَنَّةِ الْيَوْمَ فِي شُغُلٍ فَاكِهُونَ UR
Yaseen - 56 Page 444
هُمْ وَأَزْوَٰجُهُمْ فِى ظِلَٰلٍ عَلَى ٱلْأَرَآئِكِ مُتَّكِـُٔونَ
EN They and their spouses - in shade, reclining on adorned couches.
هُمْ وَأَزْوَاجُهُمْ فِي ظِلَالٍ عَلَى الْأَرَائِكِ مُتَّكِئُونَ UR
Yaseen - 57 Page 444
لَهُمْ فِيهَا فَٰكِهَةٌۭ وَلَهُم مَّا يَدَّعُونَ
EN For them therein is fruit, and for them is whatever they request [or wish]
لَهُمْ فِيهَا فَاكِهَةٌ وَلَهُمْ مَا يَدَّعُونَ UR
Yaseen - 58 Page 444
سَلَٰمٌۭ قَوْلًۭا مِّن رَّبٍّۢ رَّحِيمٍۢ
EN [And] "Peace," a word from a Merciful Lord.
سَلَامٌ قَوْلًا مِنْ رَبٍّ رَحِيمٍ UR
Yaseen - 59 Page 444
وَٱمْتَٰزُوا۟ ٱلْيَوْمَ أَيُّهَا ٱلْمُجْرِمُونَ
EN [Then He will say], "But stand apart today, you criminals.
وَامْتَازُوا الْيَوْمَ أَيُّهَا الْمُجْرِمُونَ UR
Yaseen - 60 Page 444
۞ أَلَمْ أَعْهَدْ إِلَيْكُمْ يَٰبَنِىٓ ءَادَمَ أَن لَّا تَعْبُدُوا۟ ٱلشَّيْطَٰنَ ۖ إِنَّهُۥ لَكُمْ عَدُوٌّۭ مُّبِينٌۭ
EN Did I not enjoin upon you, O children of Adam, that you not worship Satan - [for] indeed, he is to you a clear enemy -
۞ أَلَمْ أَعْهَدْ إِلَيْكُمْ يَا بَنِي آدَمَ أَنْ لَا تَعْبُدُوا الشَّيْطَانَ ۖ إِنَّهُ لَكُمْ عَدُوٌّ مُبِينٌ UR
Yaseen - 61 Page 444
وَأَنِ ٱعْبُدُونِى ۚ هَٰذَا صِرَٰطٌۭ مُّسْتَقِيمٌۭ
EN And that you worship [only] Me? This is a straight path.
وَأَنِ اعْبُدُونِي ۚ هَٰذَا صِرَاطٌ مُسْتَقِيمٌ UR
Yaseen - 62 Page 444
وَلَقَدْ أَضَلَّ مِنكُمْ جِبِلًّۭا كَثِيرًا ۖ أَفَلَمْ تَكُونُوا۟ تَعْقِلُونَ
EN And he had already led astray from among you much of creation, so did you not use reason?
وَلَقَدْ أَضَلَّ مِنْكُمْ جِبِلًّا كَثِيرًا ۖ أَفَلَمْ تَكُونُوا تَعْقِلُونَ UR
Yaseen - 63 Page 444
هَٰذِهِۦ جَهَنَّمُ ٱلَّتِى كُنتُمْ تُوعَدُونَ
EN This is the Hellfire which you were promised.
هَٰذِهِ جَهَنَّمُ الَّتِي كُنْتُمْ تُوعَدُونَ UR
Yaseen - 64 Page 444
ٱصْلَوْهَا ٱلْيَوْمَ بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَكْفُرُونَ
EN [Enter to] burn therein today for what you used to deny."
اصْلَوْهَا الْيَوْمَ بِمَا كُنْتُمْ تَكْفُرُونَ UR
Yaseen - 65 Page 444
ٱلْيَوْمَ نَخْتِمُ عَلَىٰٓ أَفْوَٰهِهِمْ وَتُكَلِّمُنَآ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَتَشْهَدُ أَرْجُلُهُم بِمَا كَانُوا۟ يَكْسِبُونَ
EN That Day, We will seal over their mouths, and their hands will speak to Us, and their feet will testify about what they used to earn.
الْيَوْمَ نَخْتِمُ عَلَىٰ أَفْوَاهِهِمْ وَتُكَلِّمُنَا أَيْدِيهِمْ وَتَشْهَدُ أَرْجُلُهُمْ بِمَا كَانُوا يَكْسِبُونَ UR
Yaseen - 66 Page 444
وَلَوْ نَشَآءُ لَطَمَسْنَا عَلَىٰٓ أَعْيُنِهِمْ فَٱسْتَبَقُوا۟ ٱلصِّرَٰطَ فَأَنَّىٰ يُبْصِرُونَ
EN And if We willed, We could have obliterated their eyes, and they would race to [find] the path, and how could they see?
وَلَوْ نَشَاءُ لَطَمَسْنَا عَلَىٰ أَعْيُنِهِمْ فَاسْتَبَقُوا الصِّرَاطَ فَأَنَّىٰ يُبْصِرُونَ UR
Yaseen - 67 Page 444
وَلَوْ نَشَآءُ لَمَسَخْنَٰهُمْ عَلَىٰ مَكَانَتِهِمْ فَمَا ٱسْتَطَٰعُوا۟ مُضِيًّۭا وَلَا يَرْجِعُونَ
EN And if We willed, We could have deformed them, [paralyzing them] in their places so they would not be able to proceed, nor could they return.
وَلَوْ نَشَاءُ لَمَسَخْنَاهُمْ عَلَىٰ مَكَانَتِهِمْ فَمَا اسْتَطَاعُوا مُضِيًّا وَلَا يَرْجِعُونَ UR
Yaseen - 68 Page 444
وَمَن نُّعَمِّرْهُ نُنَكِّسْهُ فِى ٱلْخَلْقِ ۖ أَفَلَا يَعْقِلُونَ
EN And he to whom We grant long life We reverse in creation; so will they not understand?
وَمَنْ نُعَمِّرْهُ نُنَكِّسْهُ فِي الْخَلْقِ ۖ أَفَلَا يَعْقِلُونَ UR
Yaseen - 69 Page 444
وَمَا عَلَّمْنَٰهُ ٱلشِّعْرَ وَمَا يَنۢبَغِى لَهُۥٓ ۚ إِنْ هُوَ إِلَّا ذِكْرٌۭ وَقُرْءَانٌۭ مُّبِينٌۭ
EN And We did not give Prophet Muhammad, knowledge of poetry, nor is it befitting for him. It is not but a message and a clear Qur'an
وَمَا عَلَّمْنَاهُ الشِّعْرَ وَمَا يَنْبَغِي لَهُ ۚ إِنْ هُوَ إِلَّا ذِكْرٌ وَقُرْآنٌ مُبِينٌ UR
Yaseen - 70 Page 444
لِّيُنذِرَ مَن كَانَ حَيًّۭا وَيَحِقَّ ٱلْقَوْلُ عَلَى ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ
EN To warn whoever is alive and justify the word against the disbelievers.
لِيُنْذِرَ مَنْ كَانَ حَيًّا وَيَحِقَّ الْقَوْلُ عَلَى الْكَافِرِينَ UR
Yaseen - 71 Page 445
أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا۟ أَنَّا خَلَقْنَا لَهُم مِّمَّا عَمِلَتْ أَيْدِينَآ أَنْعَٰمًۭا فَهُمْ لَهَا مَٰلِكُونَ
EN Do they not see that We have created for them from what Our hands have made, grazing livestock, and [then] they are their owners?
أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا أَنَّا خَلَقْنَا لَهُمْ مِمَّا عَمِلَتْ أَيْدِينَا أَنْعَامًا فَهُمْ لَهَا مَالِكُونَ UR
Yaseen - 72 Page 445
وَذَلَّلْنَٰهَا لَهُمْ فَمِنْهَا رَكُوبُهُمْ وَمِنْهَا يَأْكُلُونَ
EN And We have tamed them for them, so some of them they ride, and some of them they eat.
وَذَلَّلْنَاهَا لَهُمْ فَمِنْهَا رَكُوبُهُمْ وَمِنْهَا يَأْكُلُونَ UR
Yaseen - 73 Page 445
وَلَهُمْ فِيهَا مَنَٰفِعُ وَمَشَارِبُ ۖ أَفَلَا يَشْكُرُونَ
EN And for them therein are [other] benefits and drinks, so will they not be grateful?
وَلَهُمْ فِيهَا مَنَافِعُ وَمَشَارِبُ ۖ أَفَلَا يَشْكُرُونَ UR
Yaseen - 74 Page 445
وَٱتَّخَذُوا۟ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ ءَالِهَةًۭ لَّعَلَّهُمْ يُنصَرُونَ
EN But they have taken besides Allah [false] deities that perhaps they would be helped.
وَاتَّخَذُوا مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ آلِهَةً لَعَلَّهُمْ يُنْصَرُونَ UR
Yaseen - 75 Page 445
لَا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ نَصْرَهُمْ وَهُمْ لَهُمْ جُندٌۭ مُّحْضَرُونَ
EN They are not able to help them, and they [themselves] are for them soldiers in attendance.
لَا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ نَصْرَهُمْ وَهُمْ لَهُمْ جُنْدٌ مُحْضَرُونَ UR
Yaseen - 76 Page 445
فَلَا يَحْزُنكَ قَوْلُهُمْ ۘ إِنَّا نَعْلَمُ مَا يُسِرُّونَ وَمَا يُعْلِنُونَ
EN So let not their speech grieve you. Indeed, We know what they conceal and what they declare.
فَلَا يَحْزُنْكَ قَوْلُهُمْ ۘ إِنَّا نَعْلَمُ مَا يُسِرُّونَ وَمَا يُعْلِنُونَ UR
Yaseen - 77 Page 445
أَوَلَمْ يَرَ ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ أَنَّا خَلَقْنَٰهُ مِن نُّطْفَةٍۢ فَإِذَا هُوَ خَصِيمٌۭ مُّبِينٌۭ
EN Does man not consider that We created him from a [mere] sperm-drop - then at once he is a clear adversary?
أَوَلَمْ يَرَ الْإِنْسَانُ أَنَّا خَلَقْنَاهُ مِنْ نُطْفَةٍ فَإِذَا هُوَ خَصِيمٌ مُبِينٌ UR
Yaseen - 78 Page 445
وَضَرَبَ لَنَا مَثَلًۭا وَنَسِىَ خَلْقَهُۥ ۖ قَالَ مَن يُحْىِ ٱلْعِظَٰمَ وَهِىَ رَمِيمٌۭ
EN And he presents for Us an example and forgets his [own] creation. He says, "Who will give life to bones while they are disintegrated?"
وَضَرَبَ لَنَا مَثَلًا وَنَسِيَ خَلْقَهُ ۖ قَالَ مَنْ يُحْيِي الْعِظَامَ وَهِيَ رَمِيمٌ UR
Yaseen - 79 Page 445
قُلْ يُحْيِيهَا ٱلَّذِىٓ أَنشَأَهَآ أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٍۢ ۖ وَهُوَ بِكُلِّ خَلْقٍ عَلِيمٌ
EN Say, "He will give them life who produced them the first time; and He is, of all creation, Knowing."
قُلْ يُحْيِيهَا الَّذِي أَنْشَأَهَا أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٍ ۖ وَهُوَ بِكُلِّ خَلْقٍ عَلِيمٌ UR
Yaseen - 80 Page 445
ٱلَّذِى جَعَلَ لَكُم مِّنَ ٱلشَّجَرِ ٱلْأَخْضَرِ نَارًۭا فَإِذَآ أَنتُم مِّنْهُ تُوقِدُونَ
EN [It is] He who made for you from the green tree, fire, and then from it you ignite.
الَّذِي جَعَلَ لَكُمْ مِنَ الشَّجَرِ الْأَخْضَرِ نَارًا فَإِذَا أَنْتُمْ مِنْهُ تُوقِدُونَ UR
Yaseen - 81 Page 445
أَوَلَيْسَ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ بِقَٰدِرٍ عَلَىٰٓ أَن يَخْلُقَ مِثْلَهُم ۚ بَلَىٰ وَهُوَ ٱلْخَلَّٰقُ ٱلْعَلِيمُ
EN Is not He who created the heavens and the earth Able to create the likes of them? Yes, [it is so]; and He is the Knowing Creator.
أَوَلَيْسَ الَّذِي خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ بِقَادِرٍ عَلَىٰ أَنْ يَخْلُقَ مِثْلَهُمْ ۚ بَلَىٰ وَهُوَ الْخَلَّاقُ الْعَلِيمُ UR
Yaseen - 82 Page 445
إِنَّمَآ أَمْرُهُۥٓ إِذَآ أَرَادَ شَيْـًٔا أَن يَقُولَ لَهُۥ كُن فَيَكُونُ
EN His command is only when He intends a thing that He says to it, "Be," and it is.
إِنَّمَا أَمْرُهُ إِذَا أَرَادَ شَيْئًا أَنْ يَقُولَ لَهُ كُنْ فَيَكُونُ UR
Yaseen - 83 Page 445
فَسُبْحَٰنَ ٱلَّذِى بِيَدِهِۦ مَلَكُوتُ كُلِّ شَىْءٍۢ وَإِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ
EN So exalted is He in whose hand is the realm of all things, and to Him you will be returned.
فَسُبْحَانَ الَّذِي بِيَدِهِ مَلَكُوتُ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ وَإِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 1 Page 446
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ وَٱلصَّٰٓفَّٰتِ صَفًّۭا
EN By those [angels] lined up in rows
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ وَالصَّافَّاتِ صَفًّا UR
As-Saaffaat - 2 Page 446
فَٱلزَّٰجِرَٰتِ زَجْرًۭا
EN And those who drive [the clouds]
فَالزَّاجِرَاتِ زَجْرًا UR
As-Saaffaat - 3 Page 446
فَٱلتَّٰلِيَٰتِ ذِكْرًا
EN And those who recite the message,
فَالتَّالِيَاتِ ذِكْرًا UR
As-Saaffaat - 4 Page 446
إِنَّ إِلَٰهَكُمْ لَوَٰحِدٌۭ
EN Indeed, your God is One,
إِنَّ إِلَٰهَكُمْ لَوَاحِدٌ UR
As-Saaffaat - 5 Page 446
رَّبُّ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا وَرَبُّ ٱلْمَشَٰرِقِ
EN Lord of the heavens and the earth and that between them and Lord of the sunrises.
رَبُّ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا وَرَبُّ الْمَشَارِقِ UR
As-Saaffaat - 6 Page 446
إِنَّا زَيَّنَّا ٱلسَّمَآءَ ٱلدُّنْيَا بِزِينَةٍ ٱلْكَوَاكِبِ
EN Indeed, We have adorned the nearest heaven with an adornment of stars
إِنَّا زَيَّنَّا السَّمَاءَ الدُّنْيَا بِزِينَةٍ الْكَوَاكِبِ UR
As-Saaffaat - 7 Page 446
وَحِفْظًۭا مِّن كُلِّ شَيْطَٰنٍۢ مَّارِدٍۢ
EN And as protection against every rebellious devil
وَحِفْظًا مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْطَانٍ مَارِدٍ UR
As-Saaffaat - 8 Page 446
لَّا يَسَّمَّعُونَ إِلَى ٱلْمَلَإِ ٱلْأَعْلَىٰ وَيُقْذَفُونَ مِن كُلِّ جَانِبٍۢ
EN [So] they may not listen to the exalted assembly [of angels] and are pelted from every side,
لَا يَسَّمَّعُونَ إِلَى الْمَلَإِ الْأَعْلَىٰ وَيُقْذَفُونَ مِنْ كُلِّ جَانِبٍ UR
As-Saaffaat - 9 Page 446
دُحُورًۭا ۖ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌۭ وَاصِبٌ
EN Repelled; and for them is a constant punishment,
دُحُورًا ۖ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ وَاصِبٌ UR
As-Saaffaat - 10 Page 446
إِلَّا مَنْ خَطِفَ ٱلْخَطْفَةَ فَأَتْبَعَهُۥ شِهَابٌۭ ثَاقِبٌۭ
EN Except one who snatches [some words] by theft, but they are pursued by a burning flame, piercing [in brightness].
إِلَّا مَنْ خَطِفَ الْخَطْفَةَ فَأَتْبَعَهُ شِهَابٌ ثَاقِبٌ UR
As-Saaffaat - 11 Page 446
فَٱسْتَفْتِهِمْ أَهُمْ أَشَدُّ خَلْقًا أَم مَّنْ خَلَقْنَآ ۚ إِنَّا خَلَقْنَٰهُم مِّن طِينٍۢ لَّازِبٍۭ
EN Then inquire of them, [O Muhammad], "Are they a stronger [or more difficult] creation or those [others] We have created?" Indeed, We created men from sticky clay.
فَاسْتَفْتِهِمْ أَهُمْ أَشَدُّ خَلْقًا أَمْ مَنْ خَلَقْنَا ۚ إِنَّا خَلَقْنَاهُمْ مِنْ طِينٍ لَازِبٍ UR
As-Saaffaat - 12 Page 446
بَلْ عَجِبْتَ وَيَسْخَرُونَ
EN But you wonder, while they mock,
بَلْ عَجِبْتَ وَيَسْخَرُونَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 13 Page 446
وَإِذَا ذُكِّرُوا۟ لَا يَذْكُرُونَ
EN And when they are reminded, they remember not.
وَإِذَا ذُكِّرُوا لَا يَذْكُرُونَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 14 Page 446
وَإِذَا رَأَوْا۟ ءَايَةًۭ يَسْتَسْخِرُونَ
EN And when they see a sign, they ridicule
وَإِذَا رَأَوْا آيَةً يَسْتَسْخِرُونَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 15 Page 446
وَقَالُوٓا۟ إِنْ هَٰذَآ إِلَّا سِحْرٌۭ مُّبِينٌ
EN And say, "This is not but obvious magic.
وَقَالُوا إِنْ هَٰذَا إِلَّا سِحْرٌ مُبِينٌ UR
As-Saaffaat - 16 Page 446
أَءِذَا مِتْنَا وَكُنَّا تُرَابًۭا وَعِظَٰمًا أَءِنَّا لَمَبْعُوثُونَ
EN When we have died and become dust and bones, are we indeed to be resurrected?
أَإِذَا مِتْنَا وَكُنَّا تُرَابًا وَعِظَامًا أَإِنَّا لَمَبْعُوثُونَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 17 Page 446
أَوَءَابَآؤُنَا ٱلْأَوَّلُونَ
EN And our forefathers [as well]?"
أَوَآبَاؤُنَا الْأَوَّلُونَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 18 Page 446
قُلْ نَعَمْ وَأَنتُمْ دَٰخِرُونَ
EN Say, "Yes, and you will be [rendered] contemptible."
قُلْ نَعَمْ وَأَنْتُمْ دَاخِرُونَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 19 Page 446
فَإِنَّمَا هِىَ زَجْرَةٌۭ وَٰحِدَةٌۭ فَإِذَا هُمْ يَنظُرُونَ
EN It will be only one shout, and at once they will be observing.
فَإِنَّمَا هِيَ زَجْرَةٌ وَاحِدَةٌ فَإِذَا هُمْ يَنْظُرُونَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 20 Page 446
وَقَالُوا۟ يَٰوَيْلَنَا هَٰذَا يَوْمُ ٱلدِّينِ
EN They will say, "O woe to us! This is the Day of Recompense."
وَقَالُوا يَا وَيْلَنَا هَٰذَا يَوْمُ الدِّينِ UR
As-Saaffaat - 21 Page 446
هَٰذَا يَوْمُ ٱلْفَصْلِ ٱلَّذِى كُنتُم بِهِۦ تُكَذِّبُونَ
EN [They will be told], "This is the Day of Judgement which you used to deny."
هَٰذَا يَوْمُ الْفَصْلِ الَّذِي كُنْتُمْ بِهِ تُكَذِّبُونَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 22 Page 446
۞ ٱحْشُرُوا۟ ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا۟ وَأَزْوَٰجَهُمْ وَمَا كَانُوا۟ يَعْبُدُونَ
EN [The angels will be ordered], "Gather those who committed wrong, their kinds, and what they used to worship
۞ احْشُرُوا الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا وَأَزْوَاجَهُمْ وَمَا كَانُوا يَعْبُدُونَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 23 Page 446
مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ فَٱهْدُوهُمْ إِلَىٰ صِرَٰطِ ٱلْجَحِيمِ
EN Other than Allah, and guide them to the path of Hellfire
مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ فَاهْدُوهُمْ إِلَىٰ صِرَاطِ الْجَحِيمِ UR
As-Saaffaat - 24 Page 446
وَقِفُوهُمْ ۖ إِنَّهُم مَّسْـُٔولُونَ
EN And stop them; indeed, they are to be questioned."
وَقِفُوهُمْ ۖ إِنَّهُمْ مَسْئُولُونَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 25 Page 447
مَا لَكُمْ لَا تَنَاصَرُونَ
EN [They will be asked], "What is [wrong] with you? Why do you not help each other?"
مَا لَكُمْ لَا تَنَاصَرُونَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 26 Page 447
بَلْ هُمُ ٱلْيَوْمَ مُسْتَسْلِمُونَ
EN But they, that Day, are in surrender.
بَلْ هُمُ الْيَوْمَ مُسْتَسْلِمُونَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 27 Page 447
وَأَقْبَلَ بَعْضُهُمْ عَلَىٰ بَعْضٍۢ يَتَسَآءَلُونَ
EN And they will approach one another blaming each other.
وَأَقْبَلَ بَعْضُهُمْ عَلَىٰ بَعْضٍ يَتَسَاءَلُونَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 28 Page 447
قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّكُمْ كُنتُمْ تَأْتُونَنَا عَنِ ٱلْيَمِينِ
EN They will say, "Indeed, you used to come at us from the right."
قَالُوا إِنَّكُمْ كُنْتُمْ تَأْتُونَنَا عَنِ الْيَمِينِ UR
As-Saaffaat - 29 Page 447
قَالُوا۟ بَل لَّمْ تَكُونُوا۟ مُؤْمِنِينَ
EN The oppressors will say, "Rather, you [yourselves] were not believers,
قَالُوا بَلْ لَمْ تَكُونُوا مُؤْمِنِينَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 30 Page 447
وَمَا كَانَ لَنَا عَلَيْكُم مِّن سُلْطَٰنٍۭ ۖ بَلْ كُنتُمْ قَوْمًۭا طَٰغِينَ
EN And we had over you no authority, but you were a transgressing people.
وَمَا كَانَ لَنَا عَلَيْكُمْ مِنْ سُلْطَانٍ ۖ بَلْ كُنْتُمْ قَوْمًا طَاغِينَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 31 Page 447
فَحَقَّ عَلَيْنَا قَوْلُ رَبِّنَآ ۖ إِنَّا لَذَآئِقُونَ
EN So the word of our Lord has come into effect upon us; indeed, we will taste [punishment].
فَحَقَّ عَلَيْنَا قَوْلُ رَبِّنَا ۖ إِنَّا لَذَائِقُونَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 32 Page 447
فَأَغْوَيْنَٰكُمْ إِنَّا كُنَّا غَٰوِينَ
EN And we led you to deviation; indeed, we were deviators."
فَأَغْوَيْنَاكُمْ إِنَّا كُنَّا غَاوِينَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 33 Page 447
فَإِنَّهُمْ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ فِى ٱلْعَذَابِ مُشْتَرِكُونَ
EN So indeed they, that Day, will be sharing in the punishment.
فَإِنَّهُمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ فِي الْعَذَابِ مُشْتَرِكُونَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 34 Page 447
إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَفْعَلُ بِٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ
EN Indeed, that is how We deal with the criminals.
إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَفْعَلُ بِالْمُجْرِمِينَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 35 Page 447
إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوٓا۟ إِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا ٱللَّهُ يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ
EN Indeed they, when it was said to them, "There is no deity but Allah," were arrogant
إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا إِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 36 Page 447
وَيَقُولُونَ أَئِنَّا لَتَارِكُوٓا۟ ءَالِهَتِنَا لِشَاعِرٍۢ مَّجْنُونٍۭ
EN And were saying, "Are we to leave our gods for a mad poet?"
وَيَقُولُونَ أَئِنَّا لَتَارِكُو آلِهَتِنَا لِشَاعِرٍ مَجْنُونٍ UR
As-Saaffaat - 37 Page 447
بَلْ جَآءَ بِٱلْحَقِّ وَصَدَّقَ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ
EN Rather, the Prophet has come with the truth and confirmed the [previous] messengers.
بَلْ جَاءَ بِالْحَقِّ وَصَدَّقَ الْمُرْسَلِينَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 38 Page 447
إِنَّكُمْ لَذَآئِقُوا۟ ٱلْعَذَابِ ٱلْأَلِيمِ
EN Indeed, you [disbelievers] will be tasters of the painful punishment,
إِنَّكُمْ لَذَائِقُو الْعَذَابِ الْأَلِيمِ UR
As-Saaffaat - 39 Page 447
وَمَا تُجْزَوْنَ إِلَّا مَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ
EN And you will not be recompensed except for what you used to do -
وَمَا تُجْزَوْنَ إِلَّا مَا كُنْتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 40 Page 447
إِلَّا عِبَادَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلْمُخْلَصِينَ
EN But not the chosen servants of Allah.
إِلَّا عِبَادَ اللَّهِ الْمُخْلَصِينَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 41 Page 447
أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ لَهُمْ رِزْقٌۭ مَّعْلُومٌۭ
EN Those will have a provision determined -
أُولَٰئِكَ لَهُمْ رِزْقٌ مَعْلُومٌ UR
As-Saaffaat - 42 Page 447
فَوَٰكِهُ ۖ وَهُم مُّكْرَمُونَ
EN Fruits; and they will be honored
فَوَاكِهُ ۖ وَهُمْ مُكْرَمُونَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 43 Page 447
فِى جَنَّٰتِ ٱلنَّعِيمِ
EN In gardens of pleasure
فِي جَنَّاتِ النَّعِيمِ UR
As-Saaffaat - 44 Page 447
عَلَىٰ سُرُرٍۢ مُّتَقَٰبِلِينَ
EN On thrones facing one another.
عَلَىٰ سُرُرٍ مُتَقَابِلِينَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 45 Page 447
يُطَافُ عَلَيْهِم بِكَأْسٍۢ مِّن مَّعِينٍۭ
EN There will be circulated among them a cup [of wine] from a flowing spring,
يُطَافُ عَلَيْهِمْ بِكَأْسٍ مِنْ مَعِينٍ UR
As-Saaffaat - 46 Page 447
بَيْضَآءَ لَذَّةٍۢ لِّلشَّٰرِبِينَ
EN White and delicious to the drinkers;
بَيْضَاءَ لَذَّةٍ لِلشَّارِبِينَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 47 Page 447
لَا فِيهَا غَوْلٌۭ وَلَا هُمْ عَنْهَا يُنزَفُونَ
EN No bad effect is there in it, nor from it will they be intoxicated.
لَا فِيهَا غَوْلٌ وَلَا هُمْ عَنْهَا يُنْزَفُونَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 48 Page 447
وَعِندَهُمْ قَٰصِرَٰتُ ٱلطَّرْفِ عِينٌۭ
EN And with them will be women limiting [their] glances, with large, [beautiful] eyes,
وَعِنْدَهُمْ قَاصِرَاتُ الطَّرْفِ عِينٌ UR
As-Saaffaat - 49 Page 447
كَأَنَّهُنَّ بَيْضٌۭ مَّكْنُونٌۭ
EN As if they were [delicate] eggs, well-protected.
كَأَنَّهُنَّ بَيْضٌ مَكْنُونٌ UR
As-Saaffaat - 50 Page 447
فَأَقْبَلَ بَعْضُهُمْ عَلَىٰ بَعْضٍۢ يَتَسَآءَلُونَ
EN And they will approach one another, inquiring of each other.
فَأَقْبَلَ بَعْضُهُمْ عَلَىٰ بَعْضٍ يَتَسَاءَلُونَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 51 Page 447
قَالَ قَآئِلٌۭ مِّنْهُمْ إِنِّى كَانَ لِى قَرِينٌۭ
EN A speaker among them will say, "Indeed, I had a companion [on earth]
قَالَ قَائِلٌ مِنْهُمْ إِنِّي كَانَ لِي قَرِينٌ UR
As-Saaffaat - 52 Page 448
يَقُولُ أَءِنَّكَ لَمِنَ ٱلْمُصَدِّقِينَ
EN Who would say, 'Are you indeed of those who believe
يَقُولُ أَإِنَّكَ لَمِنَ الْمُصَدِّقِينَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 53 Page 448
أَءِذَا مِتْنَا وَكُنَّا تُرَابًۭا وَعِظَٰمًا أَءِنَّا لَمَدِينُونَ
EN That when we have died and become dust and bones, we will indeed be recompensed?'"
أَإِذَا مِتْنَا وَكُنَّا تُرَابًا وَعِظَامًا أَإِنَّا لَمَدِينُونَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 54 Page 448
قَالَ هَلْ أَنتُم مُّطَّلِعُونَ
EN He will say, "Would you [care to] look?"
قَالَ هَلْ أَنْتُمْ مُطَّلِعُونَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 55 Page 448
فَٱطَّلَعَ فَرَءَاهُ فِى سَوَآءِ ٱلْجَحِيمِ
EN And he will look and see him in the midst of the Hellfire.
فَاطَّلَعَ فَرَآهُ فِي سَوَاءِ الْجَحِيمِ UR
As-Saaffaat - 56 Page 448
قَالَ تَٱللَّهِ إِن كِدتَّ لَتُرْدِينِ
EN He will say, "By Allah, you almost ruined me.
قَالَ تَاللَّهِ إِنْ كِدْتَ لَتُرْدِينِ UR
As-Saaffaat - 57 Page 448
وَلَوْلَا نِعْمَةُ رَبِّى لَكُنتُ مِنَ ٱلْمُحْضَرِينَ
EN If not for the favor of my Lord, I would have been of those brought in [to Hell].
وَلَوْلَا نِعْمَةُ رَبِّي لَكُنْتُ مِنَ الْمُحْضَرِينَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 58 Page 448
أَفَمَا نَحْنُ بِمَيِّتِينَ
EN Then, are we not to die
أَفَمَا نَحْنُ بِمَيِّتِينَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 59 Page 448
إِلَّا مَوْتَتَنَا ٱلْأُولَىٰ وَمَا نَحْنُ بِمُعَذَّبِينَ
EN Except for our first death, and we will not be punished?"
إِلَّا مَوْتَتَنَا الْأُولَىٰ وَمَا نَحْنُ بِمُعَذَّبِينَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 60 Page 448
إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَهُوَ ٱلْفَوْزُ ٱلْعَظِيمُ
EN Indeed, this is the great attainment.
إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَهُوَ الْفَوْزُ الْعَظِيمُ UR
As-Saaffaat - 61 Page 448
لِمِثْلِ هَٰذَا فَلْيَعْمَلِ ٱلْعَٰمِلُونَ
EN For the like of this let the workers [on earth] work.
لِمِثْلِ هَٰذَا فَلْيَعْمَلِ الْعَامِلُونَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 62 Page 448
أَذَٰلِكَ خَيْرٌۭ نُّزُلًا أَمْ شَجَرَةُ ٱلزَّقُّومِ
EN Is Paradise a better accommodation or the tree of zaqqum?
أَذَٰلِكَ خَيْرٌ نُزُلًا أَمْ شَجَرَةُ الزَّقُّومِ UR
As-Saaffaat - 63 Page 448
إِنَّا جَعَلْنَٰهَا فِتْنَةًۭ لِّلظَّٰلِمِينَ
EN Indeed, We have made it a torment for the wrongdoers.
إِنَّا جَعَلْنَاهَا فِتْنَةً لِلظَّالِمِينَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 64 Page 448
إِنَّهَا شَجَرَةٌۭ تَخْرُجُ فِىٓ أَصْلِ ٱلْجَحِيمِ
EN Indeed, it is a tree issuing from the bottom of the Hellfire,
إِنَّهَا شَجَرَةٌ تَخْرُجُ فِي أَصْلِ الْجَحِيمِ UR
As-Saaffaat - 65 Page 448
طَلْعُهَا كَأَنَّهُۥ رُءُوسُ ٱلشَّيَٰطِينِ
EN Its emerging fruit as if it was heads of the devils.
طَلْعُهَا كَأَنَّهُ رُءُوسُ الشَّيَاطِينِ UR
As-Saaffaat - 66 Page 448
فَإِنَّهُمْ لَءَاكِلُونَ مِنْهَا فَمَالِـُٔونَ مِنْهَا ٱلْبُطُونَ
EN And indeed, they will eat from it and fill with it their bellies.
فَإِنَّهُمْ لَآكِلُونَ مِنْهَا فَمَالِئُونَ مِنْهَا الْبُطُونَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 67 Page 448
ثُمَّ إِنَّ لَهُمْ عَلَيْهَا لَشَوْبًۭا مِّنْ حَمِيمٍۢ
EN Then indeed, they will have after it a mixture of scalding water.
ثُمَّ إِنَّ لَهُمْ عَلَيْهَا لَشَوْبًا مِنْ حَمِيمٍ UR
As-Saaffaat - 68 Page 448
ثُمَّ إِنَّ مَرْجِعَهُمْ لَإِلَى ٱلْجَحِيمِ
EN Then indeed, their return will be to the Hellfire.
ثُمَّ إِنَّ مَرْجِعَهُمْ لَإِلَى الْجَحِيمِ UR
As-Saaffaat - 69 Page 448
إِنَّهُمْ أَلْفَوْا۟ ءَابَآءَهُمْ ضَآلِّينَ
EN Indeed they found their fathers astray.
إِنَّهُمْ أَلْفَوْا آبَاءَهُمْ ضَالِّينَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 70 Page 448
فَهُمْ عَلَىٰٓ ءَاثَٰرِهِمْ يُهْرَعُونَ
EN So they hastened [to follow] in their footsteps.
فَهُمْ عَلَىٰ آثَارِهِمْ يُهْرَعُونَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 71 Page 448
وَلَقَدْ ضَلَّ قَبْلَهُمْ أَكْثَرُ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ
EN And there had already strayed before them most of the former peoples,
وَلَقَدْ ضَلَّ قَبْلَهُمْ أَكْثَرُ الْأَوَّلِينَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 72 Page 448
وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا فِيهِم مُّنذِرِينَ
EN And We had already sent among them warners.
وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا فِيهِمْ مُنْذِرِينَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 73 Page 448
فَٱنظُرْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلْمُنذَرِينَ
EN Then look how was the end of those who were warned -
فَانْظُرْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الْمُنْذَرِينَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 74 Page 448
إِلَّا عِبَادَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلْمُخْلَصِينَ
EN But not the chosen servants of Allah.
إِلَّا عِبَادَ اللَّهِ الْمُخْلَصِينَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 75 Page 448
وَلَقَدْ نَادَىٰنَا نُوحٌۭ فَلَنِعْمَ ٱلْمُجِيبُونَ
EN And Noah had certainly called Us, and [We are] the best of responders.
وَلَقَدْ نَادَانَا نُوحٌ فَلَنِعْمَ الْمُجِيبُونَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 76 Page 448
وَنَجَّيْنَٰهُ وَأَهْلَهُۥ مِنَ ٱلْكَرْبِ ٱلْعَظِيمِ
EN And We saved him and his family from the great affliction.
وَنَجَّيْنَاهُ وَأَهْلَهُ مِنَ الْكَرْبِ الْعَظِيمِ UR
As-Saaffaat - 77 Page 449
وَجَعَلْنَا ذُرِّيَّتَهُۥ هُمُ ٱلْبَاقِينَ
EN And We made his descendants those remaining [on the earth]
وَجَعَلْنَا ذُرِّيَّتَهُ هُمُ الْبَاقِينَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 78 Page 449
وَتَرَكْنَا عَلَيْهِ فِى ٱلْءَاخِرِينَ
EN And left for him [favorable mention] among later generations:
وَتَرَكْنَا عَلَيْهِ فِي الْآخِرِينَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 79 Page 449
سَلَٰمٌ عَلَىٰ نُوحٍۢ فِى ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ
EN "Peace upon Noah among the worlds."
سَلَامٌ عَلَىٰ نُوحٍ فِي الْعَالَمِينَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 80 Page 449
إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ
EN Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good.
إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِي الْمُحْسِنِينَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 81 Page 449
إِنَّهُۥ مِنْ عِبَادِنَا ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
EN Indeed, he was of Our believing servants.
إِنَّهُ مِنْ عِبَادِنَا الْمُؤْمِنِينَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 82 Page 449
ثُمَّ أَغْرَقْنَا ٱلْءَاخَرِينَ
EN Then We drowned the disbelievers.
ثُمَّ أَغْرَقْنَا الْآخَرِينَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 83 Page 449
۞ وَإِنَّ مِن شِيعَتِهِۦ لَإِبْرَٰهِيمَ
EN And indeed, among his kind was Abraham,
۞ وَإِنَّ مِنْ شِيعَتِهِ لَإِبْرَاهِيمَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 84 Page 449
إِذْ جَآءَ رَبَّهُۥ بِقَلْبٍۢ سَلِيمٍ
EN When he came to his Lord with a sound heart
إِذْ جَاءَ رَبَّهُ بِقَلْبٍ سَلِيمٍ UR
As-Saaffaat - 85 Page 449
إِذْ قَالَ لِأَبِيهِ وَقَوْمِهِۦ مَاذَا تَعْبُدُونَ
EN [And] when he said to his father and his people, "What do you worship?
إِذْ قَالَ لِأَبِيهِ وَقَوْمِهِ مَاذَا تَعْبُدُونَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 86 Page 449
أَئِفْكًا ءَالِهَةًۭ دُونَ ٱللَّهِ تُرِيدُونَ
EN Is it falsehood [as] gods other than Allah you desire?
أَئِفْكًا آلِهَةً دُونَ اللَّهِ تُرِيدُونَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 87 Page 449
فَمَا ظَنُّكُم بِرَبِّ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ
EN Then what is your thought about the Lord of the worlds?"
فَمَا ظَنُّكُمْ بِرَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 88 Page 449
فَنَظَرَ نَظْرَةًۭ فِى ٱلنُّجُومِ
EN And he cast a look at the stars
فَنَظَرَ نَظْرَةً فِي النُّجُومِ UR
As-Saaffaat - 89 Page 449
فَقَالَ إِنِّى سَقِيمٌۭ
EN And said, "Indeed, I am [about to be] ill."
فَقَالَ إِنِّي سَقِيمٌ UR
As-Saaffaat - 90 Page 449
فَتَوَلَّوْا۟ عَنْهُ مُدْبِرِينَ
EN So they turned away from him, departing.
فَتَوَلَّوْا عَنْهُ مُدْبِرِينَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 91 Page 449
فَرَاغَ إِلَىٰٓ ءَالِهَتِهِمْ فَقَالَ أَلَا تَأْكُلُونَ
EN Then he turned to their gods and said, "Do you not eat?
فَرَاغَ إِلَىٰ آلِهَتِهِمْ فَقَالَ أَلَا تَأْكُلُونَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 92 Page 449
مَا لَكُمْ لَا تَنطِقُونَ
EN What is [wrong] with you that you do not speak?"
مَا لَكُمْ لَا تَنْطِقُونَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 93 Page 449
فَرَاغَ عَلَيْهِمْ ضَرْبًۢا بِٱلْيَمِينِ
EN And he turned upon them a blow with [his] right hand.
فَرَاغَ عَلَيْهِمْ ضَرْبًا بِالْيَمِينِ UR
As-Saaffaat - 94 Page 449
فَأَقْبَلُوٓا۟ إِلَيْهِ يَزِفُّونَ
EN Then the people came toward him, hastening.
فَأَقْبَلُوا إِلَيْهِ يَزِفُّونَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 95 Page 449
قَالَ أَتَعْبُدُونَ مَا تَنْحِتُونَ
EN He said, "Do you worship that which you [yourselves] carve,
قَالَ أَتَعْبُدُونَ مَا تَنْحِتُونَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 96 Page 449
وَٱللَّهُ خَلَقَكُمْ وَمَا تَعْمَلُونَ
EN While Allah created you and that which you do?"
وَاللَّهُ خَلَقَكُمْ وَمَا تَعْمَلُونَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 97 Page 449
قَالُوا۟ ٱبْنُوا۟ لَهُۥ بُنْيَٰنًۭا فَأَلْقُوهُ فِى ٱلْجَحِيمِ
EN They said, "Construct for him a furnace and throw him into the burning fire."
قَالُوا ابْنُوا لَهُ بُنْيَانًا فَأَلْقُوهُ فِي الْجَحِيمِ UR
As-Saaffaat - 98 Page 449
فَأَرَادُوا۟ بِهِۦ كَيْدًۭا فَجَعَلْنَٰهُمُ ٱلْأَسْفَلِينَ
EN And they intended for him a plan, but We made them the most debased.
فَأَرَادُوا بِهِ كَيْدًا فَجَعَلْنَاهُمُ الْأَسْفَلِينَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 99 Page 449
وَقَالَ إِنِّى ذَاهِبٌ إِلَىٰ رَبِّى سَيَهْدِينِ
EN And [then] he said, "Indeed, I will go to [where I am ordered by] my Lord; He will guide me.
وَقَالَ إِنِّي ذَاهِبٌ إِلَىٰ رَبِّي سَيَهْدِينِ UR
As-Saaffaat - 100 Page 449
رَبِّ هَبْ لِى مِنَ ٱلصَّٰلِحِينَ
EN My Lord, grant me [a child] from among the righteous."
رَبِّ هَبْ لِي مِنَ الصَّالِحِينَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 101 Page 449
فَبَشَّرْنَٰهُ بِغُلَٰمٍ حَلِيمٍۢ
EN So We gave him good tidings of a forbearing boy.
فَبَشَّرْنَاهُ بِغُلَامٍ حَلِيمٍ UR
As-Saaffaat - 102 Page 449
فَلَمَّا بَلَغَ مَعَهُ ٱلسَّعْىَ قَالَ يَٰبُنَىَّ إِنِّىٓ أَرَىٰ فِى ٱلْمَنَامِ أَنِّىٓ أَذْبَحُكَ فَٱنظُرْ مَاذَا تَرَىٰ ۚ قَالَ يَٰٓأَبَتِ ٱفْعَلْ مَا تُؤْمَرُ ۖ سَتَجِدُنِىٓ إِن شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ مِنَ ٱلصَّٰبِرِينَ
EN And when he reached with him [the age of] exertion, he said, "O my son, indeed I have seen in a dream that I [must] sacrifice you, so see what you think." He said, "O my father, do as you are commanded. You will find me, if Allah wills, of the steadfast."
فَلَمَّا بَلَغَ مَعَهُ السَّعْيَ قَالَ يَا بُنَيَّ إِنِّي أَرَىٰ فِي الْمَنَامِ أَنِّي أَذْبَحُكَ فَانْظُرْ مَاذَا تَرَىٰ ۚ قَالَ يَا أَبَتِ افْعَلْ مَا تُؤْمَرُ ۖ سَتَجِدُنِي إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ مِنَ الصَّابِرِينَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 103 Page 450
فَلَمَّآ أَسْلَمَا وَتَلَّهُۥ لِلْجَبِينِ
EN And when they had both submitted and he put him down upon his forehead,
فَلَمَّا أَسْلَمَا وَتَلَّهُ لِلْجَبِينِ UR
As-Saaffaat - 104 Page 450
وَنَٰدَيْنَٰهُ أَن يَٰٓإِبْرَٰهِيمُ
EN We called to him, "O Abraham,
وَنَادَيْنَاهُ أَنْ يَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ UR
As-Saaffaat - 105 Page 450
قَدْ صَدَّقْتَ ٱلرُّءْيَآ ۚ إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ
EN You have fulfilled the vision." Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good.
قَدْ صَدَّقْتَ الرُّؤْيَا ۚ إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِي الْمُحْسِنِينَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 106 Page 450
إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَهُوَ ٱلْبَلَٰٓؤُا۟ ٱلْمُبِينُ
EN Indeed, this was the clear trial.
إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَهُوَ الْبَلَاءُ الْمُبِينُ UR
As-Saaffaat - 107 Page 450
وَفَدَيْنَٰهُ بِذِبْحٍ عَظِيمٍۢ
EN And We ransomed him with a great sacrifice,
وَفَدَيْنَاهُ بِذِبْحٍ عَظِيمٍ UR
As-Saaffaat - 108 Page 450
وَتَرَكْنَا عَلَيْهِ فِى ٱلْءَاخِرِينَ
EN And We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations:
وَتَرَكْنَا عَلَيْهِ فِي الْآخِرِينَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 109 Page 450
سَلَٰمٌ عَلَىٰٓ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ
EN "Peace upon Abraham."
سَلَامٌ عَلَىٰ إِبْرَاهِيمَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 110 Page 450
كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ
EN Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good.
كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِي الْمُحْسِنِينَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 111 Page 450
إِنَّهُۥ مِنْ عِبَادِنَا ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
EN Indeed, he was of Our believing servants.
إِنَّهُ مِنْ عِبَادِنَا الْمُؤْمِنِينَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 112 Page 450
وَبَشَّرْنَٰهُ بِإِسْحَٰقَ نَبِيًّۭا مِّنَ ٱلصَّٰلِحِينَ
EN And We gave him good tidings of Isaac, a prophet from among the righteous.
وَبَشَّرْنَاهُ بِإِسْحَاقَ نَبِيًّا مِنَ الصَّالِحِينَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 113 Page 450
وَبَٰرَكْنَا عَلَيْهِ وَعَلَىٰٓ إِسْحَٰقَ ۚ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّتِهِمَا مُحْسِنٌۭ وَظَالِمٌۭ لِّنَفْسِهِۦ مُبِينٌۭ
EN And We blessed him and Isaac. But among their descendants is the doer of good and the clearly unjust to himself.
وَبَارَكْنَا عَلَيْهِ وَعَلَىٰ إِسْحَاقَ ۚ وَمِنْ ذُرِّيَّتِهِمَا مُحْسِنٌ وَظَالِمٌ لِنَفْسِهِ مُبِينٌ UR
As-Saaffaat - 114 Page 450
وَلَقَدْ مَنَنَّا عَلَىٰ مُوسَىٰ وَهَٰرُونَ
EN And We did certainly confer favor upon Moses and Aaron.
وَلَقَدْ مَنَنَّا عَلَىٰ مُوسَىٰ وَهَارُونَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 115 Page 450
وَنَجَّيْنَٰهُمَا وَقَوْمَهُمَا مِنَ ٱلْكَرْبِ ٱلْعَظِيمِ
EN And We saved them and their people from the great affliction,
وَنَجَّيْنَاهُمَا وَقَوْمَهُمَا مِنَ الْكَرْبِ الْعَظِيمِ UR
As-Saaffaat - 116 Page 450
وَنَصَرْنَٰهُمْ فَكَانُوا۟ هُمُ ٱلْغَٰلِبِينَ
EN And We supported them so it was they who overcame.
وَنَصَرْنَاهُمْ فَكَانُوا هُمُ الْغَالِبِينَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 117 Page 450
وَءَاتَيْنَٰهُمَا ٱلْكِتَٰبَ ٱلْمُسْتَبِينَ
EN And We gave them the explicit Scripture,
وَآتَيْنَاهُمَا الْكِتَابَ الْمُسْتَبِينَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 118 Page 450
وَهَدَيْنَٰهُمَا ٱلصِّرَٰطَ ٱلْمُسْتَقِيمَ
EN And We guided them on the straight path.
وَهَدَيْنَاهُمَا الصِّرَاطَ الْمُسْتَقِيمَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 119 Page 450
وَتَرَكْنَا عَلَيْهِمَا فِى ٱلْءَاخِرِينَ
EN And We left for them [favorable mention] among later generations:
وَتَرَكْنَا عَلَيْهِمَا فِي الْآخِرِينَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 120 Page 450
سَلَٰمٌ عَلَىٰ مُوسَىٰ وَهَٰرُونَ
EN "Peace upon Moses and Aaron."
سَلَامٌ عَلَىٰ مُوسَىٰ وَهَارُونَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 121 Page 450
إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ
EN Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good.
إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِي الْمُحْسِنِينَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 122 Page 450
إِنَّهُمَا مِنْ عِبَادِنَا ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
EN Indeed, they were of Our believing servants.
إِنَّهُمَا مِنْ عِبَادِنَا الْمُؤْمِنِينَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 123 Page 450
وَإِنَّ إِلْيَاسَ لَمِنَ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ
EN And indeed, Elias was from among the messengers,
وَإِنَّ إِلْيَاسَ لَمِنَ الْمُرْسَلِينَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 124 Page 450
إِذْ قَالَ لِقَوْمِهِۦٓ أَلَا تَتَّقُونَ
EN When he said to his people, "Will you not fear Allah?
إِذْ قَالَ لِقَوْمِهِ أَلَا تَتَّقُونَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 125 Page 450
أَتَدْعُونَ بَعْلًۭا وَتَذَرُونَ أَحْسَنَ ٱلْخَٰلِقِينَ
EN Do you call upon Ba'l and leave the best of creators -
أَتَدْعُونَ بَعْلًا وَتَذَرُونَ أَحْسَنَ الْخَالِقِينَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 126 Page 450
ٱللَّهَ رَبَّكُمْ وَرَبَّ ءَابَآئِكُمُ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ
EN Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers?"
اللَّهَ رَبَّكُمْ وَرَبَّ آبَائِكُمُ الْأَوَّلِينَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 127 Page 451
فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَإِنَّهُمْ لَمُحْضَرُونَ
EN And they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment],
فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَإِنَّهُمْ لَمُحْضَرُونَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 128 Page 451
إِلَّا عِبَادَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلْمُخْلَصِينَ
EN Except the chosen servants of Allah.
إِلَّا عِبَادَ اللَّهِ الْمُخْلَصِينَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 129 Page 451
وَتَرَكْنَا عَلَيْهِ فِى ٱلْءَاخِرِينَ
EN And We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations:
وَتَرَكْنَا عَلَيْهِ فِي الْآخِرِينَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 130 Page 451
سَلَٰمٌ عَلَىٰٓ إِلْ يَاسِينَ
EN "Peace upon Elias."
سَلَامٌ عَلَىٰ إِلْ يَاسِينَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 131 Page 451
إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ
EN Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good.
إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِي الْمُحْسِنِينَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 132 Page 451
إِنَّهُۥ مِنْ عِبَادِنَا ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
EN Indeed, he was of Our believing servants.
إِنَّهُ مِنْ عِبَادِنَا الْمُؤْمِنِينَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 133 Page 451
وَإِنَّ لُوطًۭا لَّمِنَ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ
EN And indeed, Lot was among the messengers.
وَإِنَّ لُوطًا لَمِنَ الْمُرْسَلِينَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 134 Page 451
إِذْ نَجَّيْنَٰهُ وَأَهْلَهُۥٓ أَجْمَعِينَ
EN [So mention] when We saved him and his family, all,
إِذْ نَجَّيْنَاهُ وَأَهْلَهُ أَجْمَعِينَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 135 Page 451
إِلَّا عَجُوزًۭا فِى ٱلْغَٰبِرِينَ
EN Except his wife among those who remained [with the evildoers].
إِلَّا عَجُوزًا فِي الْغَابِرِينَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 136 Page 451
ثُمَّ دَمَّرْنَا ٱلْءَاخَرِينَ
EN Then We destroyed the others.
ثُمَّ دَمَّرْنَا الْآخَرِينَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 137 Page 451
وَإِنَّكُمْ لَتَمُرُّونَ عَلَيْهِم مُّصْبِحِينَ
EN And indeed, you pass by them in the morning
وَإِنَّكُمْ لَتَمُرُّونَ عَلَيْهِمْ مُصْبِحِينَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 138 Page 451
وَبِٱلَّيْلِ ۗ أَفَلَا تَعْقِلُونَ
EN And at night. Then will you not use reason?
وَبِاللَّيْلِ ۗ أَفَلَا تَعْقِلُونَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 139 Page 451
وَإِنَّ يُونُسَ لَمِنَ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ
EN And indeed, Jonah was among the messengers.
وَإِنَّ يُونُسَ لَمِنَ الْمُرْسَلِينَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 140 Page 451
إِذْ أَبَقَ إِلَى ٱلْفُلْكِ ٱلْمَشْحُونِ
EN [Mention] when he ran away to the laden ship.
إِذْ أَبَقَ إِلَى الْفُلْكِ الْمَشْحُونِ UR
As-Saaffaat - 141 Page 451
فَسَاهَمَ فَكَانَ مِنَ ٱلْمُدْحَضِينَ
EN And he drew lots and was among the losers.
فَسَاهَمَ فَكَانَ مِنَ الْمُدْحَضِينَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 142 Page 451
فَٱلْتَقَمَهُ ٱلْحُوتُ وَهُوَ مُلِيمٌۭ
EN Then the fish swallowed him, while he was blameworthy.
فَالْتَقَمَهُ الْحُوتُ وَهُوَ مُلِيمٌ UR
As-Saaffaat - 143 Page 451
فَلَوْلَآ أَنَّهُۥ كَانَ مِنَ ٱلْمُسَبِّحِينَ
EN And had he not been of those who exalt Allah,
فَلَوْلَا أَنَّهُ كَانَ مِنَ الْمُسَبِّحِينَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 144 Page 451
لَلَبِثَ فِى بَطْنِهِۦٓ إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ يُبْعَثُونَ
EN He would have remained inside its belly until the Day they are resurrected.
لَلَبِثَ فِي بَطْنِهِ إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ يُبْعَثُونَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 145 Page 451
۞ فَنَبَذْنَٰهُ بِٱلْعَرَآءِ وَهُوَ سَقِيمٌۭ
EN But We threw him onto the open shore while he was ill.
۞ فَنَبَذْنَاهُ بِالْعَرَاءِ وَهُوَ سَقِيمٌ UR
As-Saaffaat - 146 Page 451
وَأَنۢبَتْنَا عَلَيْهِ شَجَرَةًۭ مِّن يَقْطِينٍۢ
EN And We caused to grow over him a gourd vine.
وَأَنْبَتْنَا عَلَيْهِ شَجَرَةً مِنْ يَقْطِينٍ UR
As-Saaffaat - 147 Page 451
وَأَرْسَلْنَٰهُ إِلَىٰ مِا۟ئَةِ أَلْفٍ أَوْ يَزِيدُونَ
EN And We sent him to [his people of] a hundred thousand or more.
وَأَرْسَلْنَاهُ إِلَىٰ مِائَةِ أَلْفٍ أَوْ يَزِيدُونَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 148 Page 451
فَـَٔامَنُوا۟ فَمَتَّعْنَٰهُمْ إِلَىٰ حِينٍۢ
EN And they believed, so We gave them enjoyment [of life] for a time.
فَآمَنُوا فَمَتَّعْنَاهُمْ إِلَىٰ حِينٍ UR
As-Saaffaat - 149 Page 451
فَٱسْتَفْتِهِمْ أَلِرَبِّكَ ٱلْبَنَاتُ وَلَهُمُ ٱلْبَنُونَ
EN So inquire of them, [O Muhammad], "Does your Lord have daughters while they have sons?
فَاسْتَفْتِهِمْ أَلِرَبِّكَ الْبَنَاتُ وَلَهُمُ الْبَنُونَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 150 Page 451
أَمْ خَلَقْنَا ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةَ إِنَٰثًۭا وَهُمْ شَٰهِدُونَ
EN Or did We create the angels as females while they were witnesses?"
أَمْ خَلَقْنَا الْمَلَائِكَةَ إِنَاثًا وَهُمْ شَاهِدُونَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 151 Page 451
أَلَآ إِنَّهُم مِّنْ إِفْكِهِمْ لَيَقُولُونَ
EN Unquestionably, it is out of their [invented] falsehood that they say,
أَلَا إِنَّهُمْ مِنْ إِفْكِهِمْ لَيَقُولُونَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 152 Page 451
وَلَدَ ٱللَّهُ وَإِنَّهُمْ لَكَٰذِبُونَ
EN " Allah has begotten," and indeed, they are liars.
وَلَدَ اللَّهُ وَإِنَّهُمْ لَكَاذِبُونَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 153 Page 451
أَصْطَفَى ٱلْبَنَاتِ عَلَى ٱلْبَنِينَ
EN Has He chosen daughters over sons?
أَصْطَفَى الْبَنَاتِ عَلَى الْبَنِينَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 154 Page 452
مَا لَكُمْ كَيْفَ تَحْكُمُونَ
EN What is [wrong] with you? How do you make judgement?
مَا لَكُمْ كَيْفَ تَحْكُمُونَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 155 Page 452
أَفَلَا تَذَكَّرُونَ
EN Then will you not be reminded?
أَفَلَا تَذَكَّرُونَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 156 Page 452
أَمْ لَكُمْ سُلْطَٰنٌۭ مُّبِينٌۭ
EN Or do you have a clear authority?
أَمْ لَكُمْ سُلْطَانٌ مُبِينٌ UR
As-Saaffaat - 157 Page 452
فَأْتُوا۟ بِكِتَٰبِكُمْ إِن كُنتُمْ صَٰدِقِينَ
EN Then produce your scripture, if you should be truthful.
فَأْتُوا بِكِتَابِكُمْ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ صَادِقِينَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 158 Page 452
وَجَعَلُوا۟ بَيْنَهُۥ وَبَيْنَ ٱلْجِنَّةِ نَسَبًۭا ۚ وَلَقَدْ عَلِمَتِ ٱلْجِنَّةُ إِنَّهُمْ لَمُحْضَرُونَ
EN And they have claimed between Him and the jinn a lineage, but the jinn have already known that they [who made such claims] will be brought to [punishment].
وَجَعَلُوا بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ الْجِنَّةِ نَسَبًا ۚ وَلَقَدْ عَلِمَتِ الْجِنَّةُ إِنَّهُمْ لَمُحْضَرُونَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 159 Page 452
سُبْحَٰنَ ٱللَّهِ عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ
EN Exalted is Allah above what they describe,
سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 160 Page 452
إِلَّا عِبَادَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلْمُخْلَصِينَ
EN Except the chosen servants of Allah [who do not share in that sin].
إِلَّا عِبَادَ اللَّهِ الْمُخْلَصِينَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 161 Page 452
فَإِنَّكُمْ وَمَا تَعْبُدُونَ
EN So indeed, you [disbelievers] and whatever you worship,
فَإِنَّكُمْ وَمَا تَعْبُدُونَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 162 Page 452
مَآ أَنتُمْ عَلَيْهِ بِفَٰتِنِينَ
EN You cannot tempt [anyone] away from Him
مَا أَنْتُمْ عَلَيْهِ بِفَاتِنِينَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 163 Page 452
إِلَّا مَنْ هُوَ صَالِ ٱلْجَحِيمِ
EN Except he who is to [enter and] burn in the Hellfire.
إِلَّا مَنْ هُوَ صَالِ الْجَحِيمِ UR
As-Saaffaat - 164 Page 452
وَمَا مِنَّآ إِلَّا لَهُۥ مَقَامٌۭ مَّعْلُومٌۭ
EN [The angels say], "There is not among us any except that he has a known position.
وَمَا مِنَّا إِلَّا لَهُ مَقَامٌ مَعْلُومٌ UR
As-Saaffaat - 165 Page 452
وَإِنَّا لَنَحْنُ ٱلصَّآفُّونَ
EN And indeed, we are those who line up [for prayer].
وَإِنَّا لَنَحْنُ الصَّافُّونَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 166 Page 452
وَإِنَّا لَنَحْنُ ٱلْمُسَبِّحُونَ
EN And indeed, we are those who exalt Allah."
وَإِنَّا لَنَحْنُ الْمُسَبِّحُونَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 167 Page 452
وَإِن كَانُوا۟ لَيَقُولُونَ
EN And indeed, the disbelievers used to say,
وَإِنْ كَانُوا لَيَقُولُونَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 168 Page 452
لَوْ أَنَّ عِندَنَا ذِكْرًۭا مِّنَ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ
EN "If we had a message from [those of] the former peoples,
لَوْ أَنَّ عِنْدَنَا ذِكْرًا مِنَ الْأَوَّلِينَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 169 Page 452
لَكُنَّا عِبَادَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلْمُخْلَصِينَ
EN We would have been the chosen servants of Allah."
لَكُنَّا عِبَادَ اللَّهِ الْمُخْلَصِينَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 170 Page 452
فَكَفَرُوا۟ بِهِۦ ۖ فَسَوْفَ يَعْلَمُونَ
EN But they disbelieved in it, so they are going to know.
فَكَفَرُوا بِهِ ۖ فَسَوْفَ يَعْلَمُونَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 171 Page 452
وَلَقَدْ سَبَقَتْ كَلِمَتُنَا لِعِبَادِنَا ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ
EN And Our word has already preceded for Our servants, the messengers,
وَلَقَدْ سَبَقَتْ كَلِمَتُنَا لِعِبَادِنَا الْمُرْسَلِينَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 172 Page 452
إِنَّهُمْ لَهُمُ ٱلْمَنصُورُونَ
EN [That] indeed, they would be those given victory
إِنَّهُمْ لَهُمُ الْمَنْصُورُونَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 173 Page 452
وَإِنَّ جُندَنَا لَهُمُ ٱلْغَٰلِبُونَ
EN And [that] indeed, Our soldiers will be those who overcome.
وَإِنَّ جُنْدَنَا لَهُمُ الْغَالِبُونَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 174 Page 452
فَتَوَلَّ عَنْهُمْ حَتَّىٰ حِينٍۢ
EN So, [O Muhammad], leave them for a time.
فَتَوَلَّ عَنْهُمْ حَتَّىٰ حِينٍ UR
As-Saaffaat - 175 Page 452
وَأَبْصِرْهُمْ فَسَوْفَ يُبْصِرُونَ
EN And see [what will befall] them, for they are going to see.
وَأَبْصِرْهُمْ فَسَوْفَ يُبْصِرُونَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 176 Page 452
أَفَبِعَذَابِنَا يَسْتَعْجِلُونَ
EN Then for Our punishment are they impatient?
أَفَبِعَذَابِنَا يَسْتَعْجِلُونَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 177 Page 452
فَإِذَا نَزَلَ بِسَاحَتِهِمْ فَسَآءَ صَبَاحُ ٱلْمُنذَرِينَ
EN But when it descends in their territory, then evil is the morning of those who were warned.
فَإِذَا نَزَلَ بِسَاحَتِهِمْ فَسَاءَ صَبَاحُ الْمُنْذَرِينَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 178 Page 452
وَتَوَلَّ عَنْهُمْ حَتَّىٰ حِينٍۢ
EN And leave them for a time.
وَتَوَلَّ عَنْهُمْ حَتَّىٰ حِينٍ UR
As-Saaffaat - 179 Page 452
وَأَبْصِرْ فَسَوْفَ يُبْصِرُونَ
EN And see, for they are going to see.
وَأَبْصِرْ فَسَوْفَ يُبْصِرُونَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 180 Page 452
سُبْحَٰنَ رَبِّكَ رَبِّ ٱلْعِزَّةِ عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ
EN Exalted is your Lord, the Lord of might, above what they describe.
سُبْحَانَ رَبِّكَ رَبِّ الْعِزَّةِ عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 181 Page 452
وَسَلَٰمٌ عَلَى ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ
EN And peace upon the messengers.
وَسَلَامٌ عَلَى الْمُرْسَلِينَ UR
As-Saaffaat - 182 Page 452
وَٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ
EN And praise to Allah, Lord of the worlds.
وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ UR
Saad - 1 Page 453
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ صٓ ۚ وَٱلْقُرْءَانِ ذِى ٱلذِّكْرِ
EN Sad. By the Qur'an containing reminder...
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ ص ۚ وَالْقُرْآنِ ذِي الذِّكْرِ UR
Saad - 2 Page 453
بَلِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ فِى عِزَّةٍۢ وَشِقَاقٍۢ
EN But those who disbelieve are in pride and dissension.
بَلِ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا فِي عِزَّةٍ وَشِقَاقٍ UR
Saad - 3 Page 453
كَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا مِن قَبْلِهِم مِّن قَرْنٍۢ فَنَادَوا۟ وَّلَاتَ حِينَ مَنَاصٍۢ
EN How many a generation have We destroyed before them, and they [then] called out; but it was not a time for escape.
كَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ مِنْ قَرْنٍ فَنَادَوْا وَلَاتَ حِينَ مَنَاصٍ UR
Saad - 4 Page 453
وَعَجِبُوٓا۟ أَن جَآءَهُم مُّنذِرٌۭ مِّنْهُمْ ۖ وَقَالَ ٱلْكَٰفِرُونَ هَٰذَا سَٰحِرٌۭ كَذَّابٌ
EN And they wonder that there has come to them a warner from among themselves. And the disbelievers say, "This is a magician and a liar.
وَعَجِبُوا أَنْ جَاءَهُمْ مُنْذِرٌ مِنْهُمْ ۖ وَقَالَ الْكَافِرُونَ هَٰذَا سَاحِرٌ كَذَّابٌ UR
Saad - 5 Page 453
أَجَعَلَ ٱلْءَالِهَةَ إِلَٰهًۭا وَٰحِدًا ۖ إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَشَىْءٌ عُجَابٌۭ
EN Has he made the gods [only] one God? Indeed, this is a curious thing."
أَجَعَلَ الْآلِهَةَ إِلَٰهًا وَاحِدًا ۖ إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَشَيْءٌ عُجَابٌ UR
Saad - 6 Page 453
وَٱنطَلَقَ ٱلْمَلَأُ مِنْهُمْ أَنِ ٱمْشُوا۟ وَٱصْبِرُوا۟ عَلَىٰٓ ءَالِهَتِكُمْ ۖ إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَشَىْءٌۭ يُرَادُ
EN And the eminent among them went forth, [saying], "Continue, and be patient over [the defense of] your gods. Indeed, this is a thing intended.
وَانْطَلَقَ الْمَلَأُ مِنْهُمْ أَنِ امْشُوا وَاصْبِرُوا عَلَىٰ آلِهَتِكُمْ ۖ إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَشَيْءٌ يُرَادُ UR
Saad - 7 Page 453
مَا سَمِعْنَا بِهَٰذَا فِى ٱلْمِلَّةِ ٱلْءَاخِرَةِ إِنْ هَٰذَآ إِلَّا ٱخْتِلَٰقٌ
EN We have not heard of this in the latest religion. This is not but a fabrication.
مَا سَمِعْنَا بِهَٰذَا فِي الْمِلَّةِ الْآخِرَةِ إِنْ هَٰذَا إِلَّا اخْتِلَاقٌ UR
Saad - 8 Page 453
أَءُنزِلَ عَلَيْهِ ٱلذِّكْرُ مِنۢ بَيْنِنَا ۚ بَلْ هُمْ فِى شَكٍّۢ مِّن ذِكْرِى ۖ بَل لَّمَّا يَذُوقُوا۟ عَذَابِ
EN Has the message been revealed to him out of [all of] us?" Rather, they are in doubt about My message. Rather, they have not yet tasted My punishment.
أَأُنْزِلَ عَلَيْهِ الذِّكْرُ مِنْ بَيْنِنَا ۚ بَلْ هُمْ فِي شَكٍّ مِنْ ذِكْرِي ۖ بَلْ لَمَّا يَذُوقُوا عَذَابِ UR
Saad - 9 Page 453
أَمْ عِندَهُمْ خَزَآئِنُ رَحْمَةِ رَبِّكَ ٱلْعَزِيزِ ٱلْوَهَّابِ
EN Or do they have the depositories of the mercy of your Lord, the Exalted in Might, the Bestower?
أَمْ عِنْدَهُمْ خَزَائِنُ رَحْمَةِ رَبِّكَ الْعَزِيزِ الْوَهَّابِ UR
Saad - 10 Page 453
أَمْ لَهُم مُّلْكُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا ۖ فَلْيَرْتَقُوا۟ فِى ٱلْأَسْبَٰبِ
EN Or is theirs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and what is between them? Then let them ascend through [any] ways of access.
أَمْ لَهُمْ مُلْكُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا ۖ فَلْيَرْتَقُوا فِي الْأَسْبَابِ UR
Saad - 11 Page 453
جُندٌۭ مَّا هُنَالِكَ مَهْزُومٌۭ مِّنَ ٱلْأَحْزَابِ
EN [They are but] soldiers [who will be] defeated there among the companies [of disbelievers].
جُنْدٌ مَا هُنَالِكَ مَهْزُومٌ مِنَ الْأَحْزَابِ UR
Saad - 12 Page 453
كَذَّبَتْ قَبْلَهُمْ قَوْمُ نُوحٍۢ وَعَادٌۭ وَفِرْعَوْنُ ذُو ٱلْأَوْتَادِ
EN The people of Noah denied before them, and [the tribe of] 'Aad and Pharaoh, the owner of stakes,
كَذَّبَتْ قَبْلَهُمْ قَوْمُ نُوحٍ وَعَادٌ وَفِرْعَوْنُ ذُو الْأَوْتَادِ UR
Saad - 13 Page 453
وَثَمُودُ وَقَوْمُ لُوطٍۢ وَأَصْحَٰبُ لْـَٔيْكَةِ ۚ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ ٱلْأَحْزَابُ
EN And [the tribe of] Thamud and the people of Lot and the companions of the thicket. Those are the companies.
وَثَمُودُ وَقَوْمُ لُوطٍ وَأَصْحَابُ الْأَيْكَةِ ۚ أُولَٰئِكَ الْأَحْزَابُ UR
Saad - 14 Page 453
إِن كُلٌّ إِلَّا كَذَّبَ ٱلرُّسُلَ فَحَقَّ عِقَابِ
EN Each of them denied the messengers, so My penalty was justified.
إِنْ كُلٌّ إِلَّا كَذَّبَ الرُّسُلَ فَحَقَّ عِقَابِ UR
Saad - 15 Page 453
وَمَا يَنظُرُ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ إِلَّا صَيْحَةًۭ وَٰحِدَةًۭ مَّا لَهَا مِن فَوَاقٍۢ
EN And these [disbelievers] await not but one blast [of the Horn]; for it there will be no delay.
وَمَا يَنْظُرُ هَٰؤُلَاءِ إِلَّا صَيْحَةً وَاحِدَةً مَا لَهَا مِنْ فَوَاقٍ UR
Saad - 16 Page 453
وَقَالُوا۟ رَبَّنَا عَجِّل لَّنَا قِطَّنَا قَبْلَ يَوْمِ ٱلْحِسَابِ
EN And they say, "Our Lord, hasten for us our share [of the punishment] before the Day of Account"
وَقَالُوا رَبَّنَا عَجِّلْ لَنَا قِطَّنَا قَبْلَ يَوْمِ الْحِسَابِ UR
Saad - 17 Page 454
ٱصْبِرْ عَلَىٰ مَا يَقُولُونَ وَٱذْكُرْ عَبْدَنَا دَاوُۥدَ ذَا ٱلْأَيْدِ ۖ إِنَّهُۥٓ أَوَّابٌ
EN Be patient over what they say and remember Our servant, David, the possessor of strength; indeed, he was one who repeatedly turned back [to Allah].
اصْبِرْ عَلَىٰ مَا يَقُولُونَ وَاذْكُرْ عَبْدَنَا دَاوُودَ ذَا الْأَيْدِ ۖ إِنَّهُ أَوَّابٌ UR
Saad - 18 Page 454
إِنَّا سَخَّرْنَا ٱلْجِبَالَ مَعَهُۥ يُسَبِّحْنَ بِٱلْعَشِىِّ وَٱلْإِشْرَاقِ
EN Indeed, We subjected the mountains [to praise] with him, exalting [Allah] in the [late] afternoon and [after] sunrise.
إِنَّا سَخَّرْنَا الْجِبَالَ مَعَهُ يُسَبِّحْنَ بِالْعَشِيِّ وَالْإِشْرَاقِ UR
Saad - 19 Page 454
وَٱلطَّيْرَ مَحْشُورَةًۭ ۖ كُلٌّۭ لَّهُۥٓ أَوَّابٌۭ
EN And the birds were assembled, all with him repeating [praises].
وَالطَّيْرَ مَحْشُورَةً ۖ كُلٌّ لَهُ أَوَّابٌ UR
Saad - 20 Page 454
وَشَدَدْنَا مُلْكَهُۥ وَءَاتَيْنَٰهُ ٱلْحِكْمَةَ وَفَصْلَ ٱلْخِطَابِ
EN And We strengthened his kingdom and gave him wisdom and discernment in speech.
وَشَدَدْنَا مُلْكَهُ وَآتَيْنَاهُ الْحِكْمَةَ وَفَصْلَ الْخِطَابِ UR
Saad - 21 Page 454
۞ وَهَلْ أَتَىٰكَ نَبَؤُا۟ ٱلْخَصْمِ إِذْ تَسَوَّرُوا۟ ٱلْمِحْرَابَ
EN And has there come to you the news of the adversaries, when they climbed over the wall of [his] prayer chamber -
۞ وَهَلْ أَتَاكَ نَبَأُ الْخَصْمِ إِذْ تَسَوَّرُوا الْمِحْرَابَ UR
Saad - 22 Page 454
إِذْ دَخَلُوا۟ عَلَىٰ دَاوُۥدَ فَفَزِعَ مِنْهُمْ ۖ قَالُوا۟ لَا تَخَفْ ۖ خَصْمَانِ بَغَىٰ بَعْضُنَا عَلَىٰ بَعْضٍۢ فَٱحْكُم بَيْنَنَا بِٱلْحَقِّ وَلَا تُشْطِطْ وَٱهْدِنَآ إِلَىٰ سَوَآءِ ٱلصِّرَٰطِ
EN When they entered upon David and he was alarmed by them? They said, "Fear not. [We are] two adversaries, one of whom has wronged the other, so judge between us with truth and do not exceed [it] and guide us to the sound path.
إِذْ دَخَلُوا عَلَىٰ دَاوُودَ فَفَزِعَ مِنْهُمْ ۖ قَالُوا لَا تَخَفْ ۖ خَصْمَانِ بَغَىٰ بَعْضُنَا عَلَىٰ بَعْضٍ فَاحْكُمْ بَيْنَنَا بِالْحَقِّ وَلَا تُشْطِطْ وَاهْدِنَا إِلَىٰ سَوَاءِ الصِّرَاطِ UR
Saad - 23 Page 454
إِنَّ هَٰذَآ أَخِى لَهُۥ تِسْعٌۭ وَتِسْعُونَ نَعْجَةًۭ وَلِىَ نَعْجَةٌۭ وَٰحِدَةٌۭ فَقَالَ أَكْفِلْنِيهَا وَعَزَّنِى فِى ٱلْخِطَابِ
EN Indeed this, my brother, has ninety-nine ewes, and I have one ewe; so he said, 'Entrust her to me,' and he overpowered me in speech."
إِنَّ هَٰذَا أَخِي لَهُ تِسْعٌ وَتِسْعُونَ نَعْجَةً وَلِيَ نَعْجَةٌ وَاحِدَةٌ فَقَالَ أَكْفِلْنِيهَا وَعَزَّنِي فِي الْخِطَابِ UR
Saad - 24 Page 454
قَالَ لَقَدْ ظَلَمَكَ بِسُؤَالِ نَعْجَتِكَ إِلَىٰ نِعَاجِهِۦ ۖ وَإِنَّ كَثِيرًۭا مِّنَ ٱلْخُلَطَآءِ لَيَبْغِى بَعْضُهُمْ عَلَىٰ بَعْضٍ إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ وَقَلِيلٌۭ مَّا هُمْ ۗ وَظَنَّ دَاوُۥدُ أَنَّمَا فَتَنَّٰهُ فَٱسْتَغْفَرَ رَبَّهُۥ وَخَرَّ رَاكِعًۭا وَأَنَابَ ۩
EN [David] said, "He has certainly wronged you in demanding your ewe [in addition] to his ewes. And indeed, many associates oppress one another, except for those who believe and do righteous deeds - and few are they." And David became certain that We had tried him, and he asked forgiveness of his Lord and fell down bowing [in prostration] and turned in repentance [to Allah].
قَالَ لَقَدْ ظَلَمَكَ بِسُؤَالِ نَعْجَتِكَ إِلَىٰ نِعَاجِهِ ۖ وَإِنَّ كَثِيرًا مِنَ الْخُلَطَاءِ لَيَبْغِي بَعْضُهُمْ عَلَىٰ بَعْضٍ إِلَّا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ وَقَلِيلٌ مَا هُمْ ۗ وَظَنَّ دَاوُودُ أَنَّمَا فَتَنَّاهُ فَاسْتَغْفَرَ رَبَّهُ وَخَرَّ رَاكِعًا وَأَنَابَ ۩ UR
Saad - 25 Page 454
فَغَفَرْنَا لَهُۥ ذَٰلِكَ ۖ وَإِنَّ لَهُۥ عِندَنَا لَزُلْفَىٰ وَحُسْنَ مَـَٔابٍۢ
EN So We forgave him that; and indeed, for him is nearness to Us and a good place of return.
فَغَفَرْنَا لَهُ ذَٰلِكَ ۖ وَإِنَّ لَهُ عِنْدَنَا لَزُلْفَىٰ وَحُسْنَ مَآبٍ UR
Saad - 26 Page 454
يَٰدَاوُۥدُ إِنَّا جَعَلْنَٰكَ خَلِيفَةًۭ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ فَٱحْكُم بَيْنَ ٱلنَّاسِ بِٱلْحَقِّ وَلَا تَتَّبِعِ ٱلْهَوَىٰ فَيُضِلَّكَ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ ۚ إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ يَضِلُّونَ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌۭ شَدِيدٌۢ بِمَا نَسُوا۟ يَوْمَ ٱلْحِسَابِ
EN [We said], "O David, indeed We have made you a successor upon the earth, so judge between the people in truth and do not follow [your own] desire, as it will lead you astray from the way of Allah." Indeed, those who go astray from the way of Allah will have a severe punishment for having forgotten the Day of Account.
يَا دَاوُودُ إِنَّا جَعَلْنَاكَ خَلِيفَةً فِي الْأَرْضِ فَاحْكُمْ بَيْنَ النَّاسِ بِالْحَقِّ وَلَا تَتَّبِعِ الْهَوَىٰ فَيُضِلَّكَ عَنْ سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ ۚ إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَضِلُّونَ عَنْ سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ شَدِيدٌ بِمَا نَسُوا يَوْمَ الْحِسَابِ UR
Saad - 27 Page 455
وَمَا خَلَقْنَا ٱلسَّمَآءَ وَٱلْأَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا بَٰطِلًۭا ۚ ذَٰلِكَ ظَنُّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ ۚ فَوَيْلٌۭ لِّلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ مِنَ ٱلنَّارِ
EN And We did not create the heaven and the earth and that between them aimlessly. That is the assumption of those who disbelieve, so woe to those who disbelieve from the Fire.
وَمَا خَلَقْنَا السَّمَاءَ وَالْأَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا بَاطِلًا ۚ ذَٰلِكَ ظَنُّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا ۚ فَوَيْلٌ لِلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا مِنَ النَّارِ UR
Saad - 28 Page 455
أَمْ نَجْعَلُ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ كَٱلْمُفْسِدِينَ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ أَمْ نَجْعَلُ ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ كَٱلْفُجَّارِ
EN Or should we treat those who believe and do righteous deeds like corrupters in the land? Or should We treat those who fear Allah like the wicked?
أَمْ نَجْعَلُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ كَالْمُفْسِدِينَ فِي الْأَرْضِ أَمْ نَجْعَلُ الْمُتَّقِينَ كَالْفُجَّارِ UR
Saad - 29 Page 455
كِتَٰبٌ أَنزَلْنَٰهُ إِلَيْكَ مُبَٰرَكٌۭ لِّيَدَّبَّرُوٓا۟ ءَايَٰتِهِۦ وَلِيَتَذَكَّرَ أُو۟لُوا۟ ٱلْأَلْبَٰبِ
EN [This is] a blessed Book which We have revealed to you, [O Muhammad], that they might reflect upon its verses and that those of understanding would be reminded.
كِتَابٌ أَنْزَلْنَاهُ إِلَيْكَ مُبَارَكٌ لِيَدَّبَّرُوا آيَاتِهِ وَلِيَتَذَكَّرَ أُولُو الْأَلْبَابِ UR
Saad - 30 Page 455
وَوَهَبْنَا لِدَاوُۥدَ سُلَيْمَٰنَ ۚ نِعْمَ ٱلْعَبْدُ ۖ إِنَّهُۥٓ أَوَّابٌ
EN And to David We gave Solomon. An excellent servant, indeed he was one repeatedly turning back [to Allah].
وَوَهَبْنَا لِدَاوُودَ سُلَيْمَانَ ۚ نِعْمَ الْعَبْدُ ۖ إِنَّهُ أَوَّابٌ UR
Saad - 31 Page 455
إِذْ عُرِضَ عَلَيْهِ بِٱلْعَشِىِّ ٱلصَّٰفِنَٰتُ ٱلْجِيَادُ
EN [Mention] when there were exhibited before him in the afternoon the poised [standing] racehorses.
إِذْ عُرِضَ عَلَيْهِ بِالْعَشِيِّ الصَّافِنَاتُ الْجِيَادُ UR
Saad - 32 Page 455
فَقَالَ إِنِّىٓ أَحْبَبْتُ حُبَّ ٱلْخَيْرِ عَن ذِكْرِ رَبِّى حَتَّىٰ تَوَارَتْ بِٱلْحِجَابِ
EN And he said, "Indeed, I gave preference to the love of good [things] over the remembrance of my Lord until the sun disappeared into the curtain [of darkness]."
فَقَالَ إِنِّي أَحْبَبْتُ حُبَّ الْخَيْرِ عَنْ ذِكْرِ رَبِّي حَتَّىٰ تَوَارَتْ بِالْحِجَابِ UR
Saad - 33 Page 455
رُدُّوهَا عَلَىَّ ۖ فَطَفِقَ مَسْحًۢا بِٱلسُّوقِ وَٱلْأَعْنَاقِ
EN [He said], "Return them to me," and set about striking [their] legs and necks.
رُدُّوهَا عَلَيَّ ۖ فَطَفِقَ مَسْحًا بِالسُّوقِ وَالْأَعْنَاقِ UR
Saad - 34 Page 455
وَلَقَدْ فَتَنَّا سُلَيْمَٰنَ وَأَلْقَيْنَا عَلَىٰ كُرْسِيِّهِۦ جَسَدًۭا ثُمَّ أَنَابَ
EN And We certainly tried Solomon and placed on his throne a body; then he returned.
وَلَقَدْ فَتَنَّا سُلَيْمَانَ وَأَلْقَيْنَا عَلَىٰ كُرْسِيِّهِ جَسَدًا ثُمَّ أَنَابَ UR
Saad - 35 Page 455
قَالَ رَبِّ ٱغْفِرْ لِى وَهَبْ لِى مُلْكًۭا لَّا يَنۢبَغِى لِأَحَدٍۢ مِّنۢ بَعْدِىٓ ۖ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ ٱلْوَهَّابُ
EN He said, "My Lord, forgive me and grant me a kingdom such as will not belong to anyone after me. Indeed, You are the Bestower."
قَالَ رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَهَبْ لِي مُلْكًا لَا يَنْبَغِي لِأَحَدٍ مِنْ بَعْدِي ۖ إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْوَهَّابُ UR
Saad - 36 Page 455
فَسَخَّرْنَا لَهُ ٱلرِّيحَ تَجْرِى بِأَمْرِهِۦ رُخَآءً حَيْثُ أَصَابَ
EN So We subjected to him the wind blowing by his command, gently, wherever he directed,
فَسَخَّرْنَا لَهُ الرِّيحَ تَجْرِي بِأَمْرِهِ رُخَاءً حَيْثُ أَصَابَ UR
Saad - 37 Page 455
وَٱلشَّيَٰطِينَ كُلَّ بَنَّآءٍۢ وَغَوَّاصٍۢ
EN And [also] the devils [of jinn] - every builder and diver
وَالشَّيَاطِينَ كُلَّ بَنَّاءٍ وَغَوَّاصٍ UR
Saad - 38 Page 455
وَءَاخَرِينَ مُقَرَّنِينَ فِى ٱلْأَصْفَادِ
EN And others bound together in shackles.
وَآخَرِينَ مُقَرَّنِينَ فِي الْأَصْفَادِ UR
Saad - 39 Page 455
هَٰذَا عَطَآؤُنَا فَٱمْنُنْ أَوْ أَمْسِكْ بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍۢ
EN [We said], "This is Our gift, so grant or withhold without account."
هَٰذَا عَطَاؤُنَا فَامْنُنْ أَوْ أَمْسِكْ بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍ UR
Saad - 40 Page 455
وَإِنَّ لَهُۥ عِندَنَا لَزُلْفَىٰ وَحُسْنَ مَـَٔابٍۢ
EN And indeed, for him is nearness to Us and a good place of return.
وَإِنَّ لَهُ عِنْدَنَا لَزُلْفَىٰ وَحُسْنَ مَآبٍ UR
Saad - 41 Page 455
وَٱذْكُرْ عَبْدَنَآ أَيُّوبَ إِذْ نَادَىٰ رَبَّهُۥٓ أَنِّى مَسَّنِىَ ٱلشَّيْطَٰنُ بِنُصْبٍۢ وَعَذَابٍ
EN And remember Our servant Job, when he called to his Lord, "Indeed, Satan has touched me with hardship and torment."
وَاذْكُرْ عَبْدَنَا أَيُّوبَ إِذْ نَادَىٰ رَبَّهُ أَنِّي مَسَّنِيَ الشَّيْطَانُ بِنُصْبٍ وَعَذَابٍ UR
Saad - 42 Page 455
ٱرْكُضْ بِرِجْلِكَ ۖ هَٰذَا مُغْتَسَلٌۢ بَارِدٌۭ وَشَرَابٌۭ
EN [So he was told], "Strike [the ground] with your foot; this is a [spring for] a cool bath and drink."
ارْكُضْ بِرِجْلِكَ ۖ هَٰذَا مُغْتَسَلٌ بَارِدٌ وَشَرَابٌ UR
Saad - 43 Page 456
وَوَهَبْنَا لَهُۥٓ أَهْلَهُۥ وَمِثْلَهُم مَّعَهُمْ رَحْمَةًۭ مِّنَّا وَذِكْرَىٰ لِأُو۟لِى ٱلْأَلْبَٰبِ
EN And We granted him his family and a like [number] with them as mercy from Us and a reminder for those of understanding.
وَوَهَبْنَا لَهُ أَهْلَهُ وَمِثْلَهُمْ مَعَهُمْ رَحْمَةً مِنَّا وَذِكْرَىٰ لِأُولِي الْأَلْبَابِ UR
Saad - 44 Page 456
وَخُذْ بِيَدِكَ ضِغْثًۭا فَٱضْرِب بِّهِۦ وَلَا تَحْنَثْ ۗ إِنَّا وَجَدْنَٰهُ صَابِرًۭا ۚ نِّعْمَ ٱلْعَبْدُ ۖ إِنَّهُۥٓ أَوَّابٌۭ
EN [We said], "And take in your hand a bunch [of grass] and strike with it and do not break your oath." Indeed, We found him patient, an excellent servant. Indeed, he was one repeatedly turning back [to Allah].
وَخُذْ بِيَدِكَ ضِغْثًا فَاضْرِبْ بِهِ وَلَا تَحْنَثْ ۗ إِنَّا وَجَدْنَاهُ صَابِرًا ۚ نِعْمَ الْعَبْدُ ۖ إِنَّهُ أَوَّابٌ UR
Saad - 45 Page 456
وَٱذْكُرْ عِبَٰدَنَآ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ وَإِسْحَٰقَ وَيَعْقُوبَ أُو۟لِى ٱلْأَيْدِى وَٱلْأَبْصَٰرِ
EN And remember Our servants, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob - those of strength and [religious] vision.
وَاذْكُرْ عِبَادَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَإِسْحَاقَ وَيَعْقُوبَ أُولِي الْأَيْدِي وَالْأَبْصَارِ UR
Saad - 46 Page 456
إِنَّآ أَخْلَصْنَٰهُم بِخَالِصَةٍۢ ذِكْرَى ٱلدَّارِ
EN Indeed, We chose them for an exclusive quality: remembrance of the home [of the Hereafter].
إِنَّا أَخْلَصْنَاهُمْ بِخَالِصَةٍ ذِكْرَى الدَّارِ UR
Saad - 47 Page 456
وَإِنَّهُمْ عِندَنَا لَمِنَ ٱلْمُصْطَفَيْنَ ٱلْأَخْيَارِ
EN And indeed they are, to Us, among the chosen and outstanding.
وَإِنَّهُمْ عِنْدَنَا لَمِنَ الْمُصْطَفَيْنَ الْأَخْيَارِ UR
Saad - 48 Page 456
وَٱذْكُرْ إِسْمَٰعِيلَ وَٱلْيَسَعَ وَذَا ٱلْكِفْلِ ۖ وَكُلٌّۭ مِّنَ ٱلْأَخْيَارِ
EN And remember Ishmael, Elisha and Dhul-Kifl, and all are among the outstanding.
وَاذْكُرْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ وَالْيَسَعَ وَذَا الْكِفْلِ ۖ وَكُلٌّ مِنَ الْأَخْيَارِ UR
Saad - 49 Page 456
هَٰذَا ذِكْرٌۭ ۚ وَإِنَّ لِلْمُتَّقِينَ لَحُسْنَ مَـَٔابٍۢ
EN This is a reminder. And indeed, for the righteous is a good place of return
هَٰذَا ذِكْرٌ ۚ وَإِنَّ لِلْمُتَّقِينَ لَحُسْنَ مَآبٍ UR
Saad - 50 Page 456
جَنَّٰتِ عَدْنٍۢ مُّفَتَّحَةًۭ لَّهُمُ ٱلْأَبْوَٰبُ
EN Gardens of perpetual residence, whose doors will be opened to them.
جَنَّاتِ عَدْنٍ مُفَتَّحَةً لَهُمُ الْأَبْوَابُ UR
Saad - 51 Page 456
مُتَّكِـِٔينَ فِيهَا يَدْعُونَ فِيهَا بِفَٰكِهَةٍۢ كَثِيرَةٍۢ وَشَرَابٍۢ
EN Reclining within them, they will call therein for abundant fruit and drink.
مُتَّكِئِينَ فِيهَا يَدْعُونَ فِيهَا بِفَاكِهَةٍ كَثِيرَةٍ وَشَرَابٍ UR
Saad - 52 Page 456
۞ وَعِندَهُمْ قَٰصِرَٰتُ ٱلطَّرْفِ أَتْرَابٌ
EN And with them will be women limiting [their] glances and of equal age.
۞ وَعِنْدَهُمْ قَاصِرَاتُ الطَّرْفِ أَتْرَابٌ UR
Saad - 53 Page 456
هَٰذَا مَا تُوعَدُونَ لِيَوْمِ ٱلْحِسَابِ
EN This is what you, [the righteous], are promised for the Day of Account.
هَٰذَا مَا تُوعَدُونَ لِيَوْمِ الْحِسَابِ UR
Saad - 54 Page 456
إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَرِزْقُنَا مَا لَهُۥ مِن نَّفَادٍ
EN Indeed, this is Our provision; for it there is no depletion.
إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَرِزْقُنَا مَا لَهُ مِنْ نَفَادٍ UR
Saad - 55 Page 456
هَٰذَا ۚ وَإِنَّ لِلطَّٰغِينَ لَشَرَّ مَـَٔابٍۢ
EN This [is so]. But indeed, for the transgressors is an evil place of return -
هَٰذَا ۚ وَإِنَّ لِلطَّاغِينَ لَشَرَّ مَآبٍ UR
Saad - 56 Page 456
جَهَنَّمَ يَصْلَوْنَهَا فَبِئْسَ ٱلْمِهَادُ
EN Hell, which they will [enter to] burn, and wretched is the resting place.
جَهَنَّمَ يَصْلَوْنَهَا فَبِئْسَ الْمِهَادُ UR
Saad - 57 Page 456
هَٰذَا فَلْيَذُوقُوهُ حَمِيمٌۭ وَغَسَّاقٌۭ
EN This - so let them taste it - is scalding water and [foul] purulence.
هَٰذَا فَلْيَذُوقُوهُ حَمِيمٌ وَغَسَّاقٌ UR
Saad - 58 Page 456
وَءَاخَرُ مِن شَكْلِهِۦٓ أَزْوَٰجٌ
EN And other [punishments] of its type [in various] kinds.
وَآخَرُ مِنْ شَكْلِهِ أَزْوَاجٌ UR
Saad - 59 Page 456
هَٰذَا فَوْجٌۭ مُّقْتَحِمٌۭ مَّعَكُمْ ۖ لَا مَرْحَبًۢا بِهِمْ ۚ إِنَّهُمْ صَالُوا۟ ٱلنَّارِ
EN [Its inhabitants will say], "This is a company bursting in with you. No welcome for them. Indeed, they will burn in the Fire."
هَٰذَا فَوْجٌ مُقْتَحِمٌ مَعَكُمْ ۖ لَا مَرْحَبًا بِهِمْ ۚ إِنَّهُمْ صَالُو النَّارِ UR
Saad - 60 Page 456
قَالُوا۟ بَلْ أَنتُمْ لَا مَرْحَبًۢا بِكُمْ ۖ أَنتُمْ قَدَّمْتُمُوهُ لَنَا ۖ فَبِئْسَ ٱلْقَرَارُ
EN They will say, "Nor you! No welcome for you. You, [our leaders], brought this upon us, and wretched is the settlement."
قَالُوا بَلْ أَنْتُمْ لَا مَرْحَبًا بِكُمْ ۖ أَنْتُمْ قَدَّمْتُمُوهُ لَنَا ۖ فَبِئْسَ الْقَرَارُ UR
Saad - 61 Page 456
قَالُوا۟ رَبَّنَا مَن قَدَّمَ لَنَا هَٰذَا فَزِدْهُ عَذَابًۭا ضِعْفًۭا فِى ٱلنَّارِ
EN They will say, "Our Lord, whoever brought this upon us - increase for him double punishment in the Fire."
قَالُوا رَبَّنَا مَنْ قَدَّمَ لَنَا هَٰذَا فَزِدْهُ عَذَابًا ضِعْفًا فِي النَّارِ UR
Saad - 62 Page 457
وَقَالُوا۟ مَا لَنَا لَا نَرَىٰ رِجَالًۭا كُنَّا نَعُدُّهُم مِّنَ ٱلْأَشْرَارِ
EN And they will say, "Why do we not see men whom we used to count among the worst?
وَقَالُوا مَا لَنَا لَا نَرَىٰ رِجَالًا كُنَّا نَعُدُّهُمْ مِنَ الْأَشْرَارِ UR
Saad - 63 Page 457
أَتَّخَذْنَٰهُمْ سِخْرِيًّا أَمْ زَاغَتْ عَنْهُمُ ٱلْأَبْصَٰرُ
EN Is it [because] we took them in ridicule, or has [our] vision turned away from them?"
أَتَّخَذْنَاهُمْ سِخْرِيًّا أَمْ زَاغَتْ عَنْهُمُ الْأَبْصَارُ UR
Saad - 64 Page 457
إِنَّ ذَٰلِكَ لَحَقٌّۭ تَخَاصُمُ أَهْلِ ٱلنَّارِ
EN Indeed, that is truth - the quarreling of the people of the Fire.
إِنَّ ذَٰلِكَ لَحَقٌّ تَخَاصُمُ أَهْلِ النَّارِ UR
Saad - 65 Page 457
قُلْ إِنَّمَآ أَنَا۠ مُنذِرٌۭ ۖ وَمَا مِنْ إِلَٰهٍ إِلَّا ٱللَّهُ ٱلْوَٰحِدُ ٱلْقَهَّارُ
EN Say, [O Muhammad], "I am only a warner, and there is not any deity except Allah, the One, the Prevailing.
قُلْ إِنَّمَا أَنَا مُنْذِرٌ ۖ وَمَا مِنْ إِلَٰهٍ إِلَّا اللَّهُ الْوَاحِدُ الْقَهَّارُ UR
Saad - 66 Page 457
رَبُّ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْغَفَّٰرُ
EN Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them, the Exalted in Might, the Perpetual Forgiver."
رَبُّ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا الْعَزِيزُ الْغَفَّارُ UR
Saad - 67 Page 457
قُلْ هُوَ نَبَؤٌا۟ عَظِيمٌ
EN Say, "It is great news
قُلْ هُوَ نَبَأٌ عَظِيمٌ UR
Saad - 68 Page 457
أَنتُمْ عَنْهُ مُعْرِضُونَ
EN From which you turn away.
أَنْتُمْ عَنْهُ مُعْرِضُونَ UR
Saad - 69 Page 457
مَا كَانَ لِىَ مِنْ عِلْمٍۭ بِٱلْمَلَإِ ٱلْأَعْلَىٰٓ إِذْ يَخْتَصِمُونَ
EN I had no knowledge of the exalted assembly [of angels] when they were disputing [the creation of Adam].
مَا كَانَ لِيَ مِنْ عِلْمٍ بِالْمَلَإِ الْأَعْلَىٰ إِذْ يَخْتَصِمُونَ UR
Saad - 70 Page 457
إِن يُوحَىٰٓ إِلَىَّ إِلَّآ أَنَّمَآ أَنَا۠ نَذِيرٌۭ مُّبِينٌ
EN It has not been revealed to me except that I am a clear warner."
إِنْ يُوحَىٰ إِلَيَّ إِلَّا أَنَّمَا أَنَا نَذِيرٌ مُبِينٌ UR
Saad - 71 Page 457
إِذْ قَالَ رَبُّكَ لِلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ إِنِّى خَٰلِقٌۢ بَشَرًۭا مِّن طِينٍۢ
EN [So mention] when your Lord said to the angels, "Indeed, I am going to create a human being from clay.
إِذْ قَالَ رَبُّكَ لِلْمَلَائِكَةِ إِنِّي خَالِقٌ بَشَرًا مِنْ طِينٍ UR
Saad - 72 Page 457
فَإِذَا سَوَّيْتُهُۥ وَنَفَخْتُ فِيهِ مِن رُّوحِى فَقَعُوا۟ لَهُۥ سَٰجِدِينَ
EN So when I have proportioned him and breathed into him of My [created] soul, then fall down to him in prostration."
فَإِذَا سَوَّيْتُهُ وَنَفَخْتُ فِيهِ مِنْ رُوحِي فَقَعُوا لَهُ سَاجِدِينَ UR
Saad - 73 Page 457
فَسَجَدَ ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ كُلُّهُمْ أَجْمَعُونَ
EN So the angels prostrated - all of them entirely.
فَسَجَدَ الْمَلَائِكَةُ كُلُّهُمْ أَجْمَعُونَ UR
Saad - 74 Page 457
إِلَّآ إِبْلِيسَ ٱسْتَكْبَرَ وَكَانَ مِنَ ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ
EN Except Iblees; he was arrogant and became among the disbelievers.
إِلَّا إِبْلِيسَ اسْتَكْبَرَ وَكَانَ مِنَ الْكَافِرِينَ UR
Saad - 75 Page 457
قَالَ يَٰٓإِبْلِيسُ مَا مَنَعَكَ أَن تَسْجُدَ لِمَا خَلَقْتُ بِيَدَىَّ ۖ أَسْتَكْبَرْتَ أَمْ كُنتَ مِنَ ٱلْعَالِينَ
EN [Allah] said, "O Iblees, what prevented you from prostrating to that which I created with My hands? Were you arrogant [then], or were you [already] among the haughty?"
قَالَ يَا إِبْلِيسُ مَا مَنَعَكَ أَنْ تَسْجُدَ لِمَا خَلَقْتُ بِيَدَيَّ ۖ أَسْتَكْبَرْتَ أَمْ كُنْتَ مِنَ الْعَالِينَ UR
Saad - 76 Page 457
قَالَ أَنَا۠ خَيْرٌۭ مِّنْهُ ۖ خَلَقْتَنِى مِن نَّارٍۢ وَخَلَقْتَهُۥ مِن طِينٍۢ
EN He said, "I am better than him. You created me from fire and created him from clay."
قَالَ أَنَا خَيْرٌ مِنْهُ ۖ خَلَقْتَنِي مِنْ نَارٍ وَخَلَقْتَهُ مِنْ طِينٍ UR
Saad - 77 Page 457
قَالَ فَٱخْرُجْ مِنْهَا فَإِنَّكَ رَجِيمٌۭ
EN [Allah] said, "Then get out of Paradise, for indeed, you are expelled.
قَالَ فَاخْرُجْ مِنْهَا فَإِنَّكَ رَجِيمٌ UR
Saad - 78 Page 457
وَإِنَّ عَلَيْكَ لَعْنَتِىٓ إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ ٱلدِّينِ
EN And indeed, upon you is My curse until the Day of Recompense."
وَإِنَّ عَلَيْكَ لَعْنَتِي إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ الدِّينِ UR
Saad - 79 Page 457
قَالَ رَبِّ فَأَنظِرْنِىٓ إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ يُبْعَثُونَ
EN He said, "My Lord, then reprieve me until the Day they are resurrected."
قَالَ رَبِّ فَأَنْظِرْنِي إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ يُبْعَثُونَ UR
Saad - 80 Page 457
قَالَ فَإِنَّكَ مِنَ ٱلْمُنظَرِينَ
EN [Allah] said, "So indeed, you are of those reprieved
قَالَ فَإِنَّكَ مِنَ الْمُنْظَرِينَ UR
Saad - 81 Page 457
إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ ٱلْوَقْتِ ٱلْمَعْلُومِ
EN Until the Day of the time well-known."
إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ الْوَقْتِ الْمَعْلُومِ UR
Saad - 82 Page 457
قَالَ فَبِعِزَّتِكَ لَأُغْوِيَنَّهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ
EN [Iblees] said, "By your might, I will surely mislead them all
قَالَ فَبِعِزَّتِكَ لَأُغْوِيَنَّهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ UR
Saad - 83 Page 457
إِلَّا عِبَادَكَ مِنْهُمُ ٱلْمُخْلَصِينَ
EN Except, among them, Your chosen servants."
إِلَّا عِبَادَكَ مِنْهُمُ الْمُخْلَصِينَ UR
Saad - 84 Page 458
قَالَ فَٱلْحَقُّ وَٱلْحَقَّ أَقُولُ
EN [Allah] said, "The truth [is My oath], and the truth I say -
قَالَ فَالْحَقُّ وَالْحَقَّ أَقُولُ UR
Saad - 85 Page 458
لَأَمْلَأَنَّ جَهَنَّمَ مِنكَ وَمِمَّن تَبِعَكَ مِنْهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ
EN [That] I will surely fill Hell with you and those of them that follow you all together."
لَأَمْلَأَنَّ جَهَنَّمَ مِنْكَ وَمِمَّنْ تَبِعَكَ مِنْهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ UR
Saad - 86 Page 458
قُلْ مَآ أَسْـَٔلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ أَجْرٍۢ وَمَآ أَنَا۠ مِنَ ٱلْمُتَكَلِّفِينَ
EN Say, [O Muhammad], "I do not ask you for the Qur'an any payment, and I am not of the pretentious
قُلْ مَا أَسْأَلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ أَجْرٍ وَمَا أَنَا مِنَ الْمُتَكَلِّفِينَ UR
Saad - 87 Page 458
إِنْ هُوَ إِلَّا ذِكْرٌۭ لِّلْعَٰلَمِينَ
EN It is but a reminder to the worlds.
إِنْ هُوَ إِلَّا ذِكْرٌ لِلْعَالَمِينَ UR
Saad - 88 Page 458
وَلَتَعْلَمُنَّ نَبَأَهُۥ بَعْدَ حِينٍۭ
EN And you will surely know [the truth of] its information after a time."
وَلَتَعْلَمُنَّ نَبَأَهُ بَعْدَ حِينٍ UR
Az-Zumar - 1 Page 458
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ تَنزِيلُ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ مِنَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلْعَزِيزِ ٱلْحَكِيمِ
EN The revelation of the Qur'an is from Allah, the Exalted in Might, the Wise.
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ تَنْزِيلُ الْكِتَابِ مِنَ اللَّهِ الْعَزِيزِ الْحَكِيمِ UR
Az-Zumar - 2 Page 458
إِنَّآ أَنزَلْنَآ إِلَيْكَ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ بِٱلْحَقِّ فَٱعْبُدِ ٱللَّهَ مُخْلِصًۭا لَّهُ ٱلدِّينَ
EN Indeed, We have sent down to you the Book, [O Muhammad], in truth. So worship Allah, [being] sincere to Him in religion.
إِنَّا أَنْزَلْنَا إِلَيْكَ الْكِتَابَ بِالْحَقِّ فَاعْبُدِ اللَّهَ مُخْلِصًا لَهُ الدِّينَ UR
Az-Zumar - 3 Page 458
أَلَا لِلَّهِ ٱلدِّينُ ٱلْخَالِصُ ۚ وَٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّخَذُوا۟ مِن دُونِهِۦٓ أَوْلِيَآءَ مَا نَعْبُدُهُمْ إِلَّا لِيُقَرِّبُونَآ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ زُلْفَىٰٓ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَحْكُمُ بَيْنَهُمْ فِى مَا هُمْ فِيهِ يَخْتَلِفُونَ ۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يَهْدِى مَنْ هُوَ كَٰذِبٌۭ كَفَّارٌۭ
EN Unquestionably, for Allah is the pure religion. And those who take protectors besides Him [say], "We only worship them that they may bring us nearer to Allah in position." Indeed, Allah will judge between them concerning that over which they differ. Indeed, Allah does not guide he who is a liar and [confirmed] disbeliever.
أَلَا لِلَّهِ الدِّينُ الْخَالِصُ ۚ وَالَّذِينَ اتَّخَذُوا مِنْ دُونِهِ أَوْلِيَاءَ مَا نَعْبُدُهُمْ إِلَّا لِيُقَرِّبُونَا إِلَى اللَّهِ زُلْفَىٰ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَحْكُمُ بَيْنَهُمْ فِي مَا هُمْ فِيهِ يَخْتَلِفُونَ ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يَهْدِي مَنْ هُوَ كَاذِبٌ كَفَّارٌ UR
Az-Zumar - 4 Page 458
لَّوْ أَرَادَ ٱللَّهُ أَن يَتَّخِذَ وَلَدًۭا لَّٱصْطَفَىٰ مِمَّا يَخْلُقُ مَا يَشَآءُ ۚ سُبْحَٰنَهُۥ ۖ هُوَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلْوَٰحِدُ ٱلْقَهَّارُ
EN If Allah had intended to take a son, He could have chosen from what He creates whatever He willed. Exalted is He; He is Allah, the One, the Prevailing.
لَوْ أَرَادَ اللَّهُ أَنْ يَتَّخِذَ وَلَدًا لَاصْطَفَىٰ مِمَّا يَخْلُقُ مَا يَشَاءُ ۚ سُبْحَانَهُ ۖ هُوَ اللَّهُ الْوَاحِدُ الْقَهَّارُ UR
Az-Zumar - 5 Page 458
خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ بِٱلْحَقِّ ۖ يُكَوِّرُ ٱلَّيْلَ عَلَى ٱلنَّهَارِ وَيُكَوِّرُ ٱلنَّهَارَ عَلَى ٱلَّيْلِ ۖ وَسَخَّرَ ٱلشَّمْسَ وَٱلْقَمَرَ ۖ كُلٌّۭ يَجْرِى لِأَجَلٍۢ مُّسَمًّى ۗ أَلَا هُوَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْغَفَّٰرُ
EN He created the heavens and earth in truth. He wraps the night over the day and wraps the day over the night and has subjected the sun and the moon, each running [its course] for a specified term. Unquestionably, He is the Exalted in Might, the Perpetual Forgiver.
خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ بِالْحَقِّ ۖ يُكَوِّرُ اللَّيْلَ عَلَى النَّهَارِ وَيُكَوِّرُ النَّهَارَ عَلَى اللَّيْلِ ۖ وَسَخَّرَ الشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَ ۖ كُلٌّ يَجْرِي لِأَجَلٍ مُسَمًّى ۗ أَلَا هُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الْغَفَّارُ UR
Az-Zumar - 6 Page 459
خَلَقَكُم مِّن نَّفْسٍۢ وَٰحِدَةٍۢ ثُمَّ جَعَلَ مِنْهَا زَوْجَهَا وَأَنزَلَ لَكُم مِّنَ ٱلْأَنْعَٰمِ ثَمَٰنِيَةَ أَزْوَٰجٍۢ ۚ يَخْلُقُكُمْ فِى بُطُونِ أُمَّهَٰتِكُمْ خَلْقًۭا مِّنۢ بَعْدِ خَلْقٍۢ فِى ظُلُمَٰتٍۢ ثَلَٰثٍۢ ۚ ذَٰلِكُمُ ٱللَّهُ رَبُّكُمْ لَهُ ٱلْمُلْكُ ۖ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ۖ فَأَنَّىٰ تُصْرَفُونَ
EN He created you from one soul. Then He made from it its mate, and He produced for you from the grazing livestock eight mates. He creates you in the wombs of your mothers, creation after creation, within three darknesses. That is Allah, your Lord; to Him belongs dominion. There is no deity except Him, so how are you averted?
خَلَقَكُمْ مِنْ نَفْسٍ وَاحِدَةٍ ثُمَّ جَعَلَ مِنْهَا زَوْجَهَا وَأَنْزَلَ لَكُمْ مِنَ الْأَنْعَامِ ثَمَانِيَةَ أَزْوَاجٍ ۚ يَخْلُقُكُمْ فِي بُطُونِ أُمَّهَاتِكُمْ خَلْقًا مِنْ بَعْدِ خَلْقٍ فِي ظُلُمَاتٍ ثَلَاثٍ ۚ ذَٰلِكُمُ اللَّهُ رَبُّكُمْ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ ۖ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ۖ فَأَنَّىٰ تُصْرَفُونَ UR
Az-Zumar - 7 Page 459
إِن تَكْفُرُوا۟ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ غَنِىٌّ عَنكُمْ ۖ وَلَا يَرْضَىٰ لِعِبَادِهِ ٱلْكُفْرَ ۖ وَإِن تَشْكُرُوا۟ يَرْضَهُ لَكُمْ ۗ وَلَا تَزِرُ وَازِرَةٌۭ وِزْرَ أُخْرَىٰ ۗ ثُمَّ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكُم مَّرْجِعُكُمْ فَيُنَبِّئُكُم بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ عَلِيمٌۢ بِذَاتِ ٱلصُّدُورِ
EN If you disbelieve - indeed, Allah is Free from need of you. And He does not approve for His servants disbelief. And if you are grateful, He approves it for you; and no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another. Then to your Lord is your return, and He will inform you about what you used to do. Indeed, He is Knowing of that within the breasts.
إِنْ تَكْفُرُوا فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ غَنِيٌّ عَنْكُمْ ۖ وَلَا يَرْضَىٰ لِعِبَادِهِ الْكُفْرَ ۖ وَإِنْ تَشْكُرُوا يَرْضَهُ لَكُمْ ۗ وَلَا تَزِرُ وَازِرَةٌ وِزْرَ أُخْرَىٰ ۗ ثُمَّ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكُمْ مَرْجِعُكُمْ فَيُنَبِّئُكُمْ بِمَا كُنْتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ ۚ إِنَّهُ عَلِيمٌ بِذَاتِ الصُّدُورِ UR
Az-Zumar - 8 Page 459
۞ وَإِذَا مَسَّ ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ ضُرٌّۭ دَعَا رَبَّهُۥ مُنِيبًا إِلَيْهِ ثُمَّ إِذَا خَوَّلَهُۥ نِعْمَةًۭ مِّنْهُ نَسِىَ مَا كَانَ يَدْعُوٓا۟ إِلَيْهِ مِن قَبْلُ وَجَعَلَ لِلَّهِ أَندَادًۭا لِّيُضِلَّ عَن سَبِيلِهِۦ ۚ قُلْ تَمَتَّعْ بِكُفْرِكَ قَلِيلًا ۖ إِنَّكَ مِنْ أَصْحَٰبِ ٱلنَّارِ
EN And when adversity touches man, he calls upon his Lord, turning to Him [alone]; then when He bestows on him a favor from Himself, he forgets Him whom he called upon before, and he attributes to Allah equals to mislead [people] from His way. Say, "Enjoy your disbelief for a little; indeed, you are of the companions of the Fire."
۞ وَإِذَا مَسَّ الْإِنْسَانَ ضُرٌّ دَعَا رَبَّهُ مُنِيبًا إِلَيْهِ ثُمَّ إِذَا خَوَّلَهُ نِعْمَةً مِنْهُ نَسِيَ مَا كَانَ يَدْعُو إِلَيْهِ مِنْ قَبْلُ وَجَعَلَ لِلَّهِ أَنْدَادًا لِيُضِلَّ عَنْ سَبِيلِهِ ۚ قُلْ تَمَتَّعْ بِكُفْرِكَ قَلِيلًا ۖ إِنَّكَ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّارِ UR
Az-Zumar - 9 Page 459
أَمَّنْ هُوَ قَٰنِتٌ ءَانَآءَ ٱلَّيْلِ سَاجِدًۭا وَقَآئِمًۭا يَحْذَرُ ٱلْءَاخِرَةَ وَيَرْجُوا۟ رَحْمَةَ رَبِّهِۦ ۗ قُلْ هَلْ يَسْتَوِى ٱلَّذِينَ يَعْلَمُونَ وَٱلَّذِينَ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ ۗ إِنَّمَا يَتَذَكَّرُ أُو۟لُوا۟ ٱلْأَلْبَٰبِ
EN Is one who is devoutly obedient during periods of the night, prostrating and standing [in prayer], fearing the Hereafter and hoping for the mercy of his Lord, [like one who does not]? Say, "Are those who know equal to those who do not know?" Only they will remember [who are] people of understanding.
أَمَّنْ هُوَ قَانِتٌ آنَاءَ اللَّيْلِ سَاجِدًا وَقَائِمًا يَحْذَرُ الْآخِرَةَ وَيَرْجُو رَحْمَةَ رَبِّهِ ۗ قُلْ هَلْ يَسْتَوِي الَّذِينَ يَعْلَمُونَ وَالَّذِينَ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ ۗ إِنَّمَا يَتَذَكَّرُ أُولُو الْأَلْبَابِ UR
Az-Zumar - 10 Page 459
قُلْ يَٰعِبَادِ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ ٱتَّقُوا۟ رَبَّكُمْ ۚ لِلَّذِينَ أَحْسَنُوا۟ فِى هَٰذِهِ ٱلدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةٌۭ ۗ وَأَرْضُ ٱللَّهِ وَٰسِعَةٌ ۗ إِنَّمَا يُوَفَّى ٱلصَّٰبِرُونَ أَجْرَهُم بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍۢ
EN Say, "O My servants who have believed, fear your Lord. For those who do good in this world is good, and the earth of Allah is spacious. Indeed, the patient will be given their reward without account."
قُلْ يَا عِبَادِ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اتَّقُوا رَبَّكُمْ ۚ لِلَّذِينَ أَحْسَنُوا فِي هَٰذِهِ الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةٌ ۗ وَأَرْضُ اللَّهِ وَاسِعَةٌ ۗ إِنَّمَا يُوَفَّى الصَّابِرُونَ أَجْرَهُمْ بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍ UR
Az-Zumar - 11 Page 460
قُلْ إِنِّىٓ أُمِرْتُ أَنْ أَعْبُدَ ٱللَّهَ مُخْلِصًۭا لَّهُ ٱلدِّينَ
EN Say, [O Muhammad], "Indeed, I have been commanded to worship Allah, [being] sincere to Him in religion.
قُلْ إِنِّي أُمِرْتُ أَنْ أَعْبُدَ اللَّهَ مُخْلِصًا لَهُ الدِّينَ UR
Az-Zumar - 12 Page 460
وَأُمِرْتُ لِأَنْ أَكُونَ أَوَّلَ ٱلْمُسْلِمِينَ
EN And I have been commanded to be the first [among you] of the Muslims."
وَأُمِرْتُ لِأَنْ أَكُونَ أَوَّلَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ UR
Az-Zumar - 13 Page 460
قُلْ إِنِّىٓ أَخَافُ إِنْ عَصَيْتُ رَبِّى عَذَابَ يَوْمٍ عَظِيمٍۢ
EN Say, "Indeed I fear, if I should disobey my Lord, the punishment of a tremendous Day."
قُلْ إِنِّي أَخَافُ إِنْ عَصَيْتُ رَبِّي عَذَابَ يَوْمٍ عَظِيمٍ UR
Az-Zumar - 14 Page 460
قُلِ ٱللَّهَ أَعْبُدُ مُخْلِصًۭا لَّهُۥ دِينِى
EN Say, "Allah [alone] do I worship, sincere to Him in my religion,
قُلِ اللَّهَ أَعْبُدُ مُخْلِصًا لَهُ دِينِي UR
Az-Zumar - 15 Page 460
فَٱعْبُدُوا۟ مَا شِئْتُم مِّن دُونِهِۦ ۗ قُلْ إِنَّ ٱلْخَٰسِرِينَ ٱلَّذِينَ خَسِرُوٓا۟ أَنفُسَهُمْ وَأَهْلِيهِمْ يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ ۗ أَلَا ذَٰلِكَ هُوَ ٱلْخُسْرَانُ ٱلْمُبِينُ
EN So worship what you will besides Him." Say, "Indeed, the losers are the ones who will lose themselves and their families on the Day of Resurrection. Unquestionably, that is the manifest loss."
فَاعْبُدُوا مَا شِئْتُمْ مِنْ دُونِهِ ۗ قُلْ إِنَّ الْخَاسِرِينَ الَّذِينَ خَسِرُوا أَنْفُسَهُمْ وَأَهْلِيهِمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ۗ أَلَا ذَٰلِكَ هُوَ الْخُسْرَانُ الْمُبِينُ UR
Az-Zumar - 16 Page 460
لَهُم مِّن فَوْقِهِمْ ظُلَلٌۭ مِّنَ ٱلنَّارِ وَمِن تَحْتِهِمْ ظُلَلٌۭ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ يُخَوِّفُ ٱللَّهُ بِهِۦ عِبَادَهُۥ ۚ يَٰعِبَادِ فَٱتَّقُونِ
EN They will have canopies of fire above them and below them, canopies. By that Allah threatens His servants. O My servants, then fear Me.
لَهُمْ مِنْ فَوْقِهِمْ ظُلَلٌ مِنَ النَّارِ وَمِنْ تَحْتِهِمْ ظُلَلٌ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ يُخَوِّفُ اللَّهُ بِهِ عِبَادَهُ ۚ يَا عِبَادِ فَاتَّقُونِ UR
Az-Zumar - 17 Page 460
وَٱلَّذِينَ ٱجْتَنَبُوا۟ ٱلطَّٰغُوتَ أَن يَعْبُدُوهَا وَأَنَابُوٓا۟ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ لَهُمُ ٱلْبُشْرَىٰ ۚ فَبَشِّرْ عِبَادِ
EN But those who have avoided Taghut, lest they worship it, and turned back to Allah - for them are good tidings. So give good tidings to My servants
وَالَّذِينَ اجْتَنَبُوا الطَّاغُوتَ أَنْ يَعْبُدُوهَا وَأَنَابُوا إِلَى اللَّهِ لَهُمُ الْبُشْرَىٰ ۚ فَبَشِّرْ عِبَادِ UR
Az-Zumar - 18 Page 460
ٱلَّذِينَ يَسْتَمِعُونَ ٱلْقَوْلَ فَيَتَّبِعُونَ أَحْسَنَهُۥٓ ۚ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ هَدَىٰهُمُ ٱللَّهُ ۖ وَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمْ أُو۟لُوا۟ ٱلْأَلْبَٰبِ
EN Who listen to speech and follow the best of it. Those are the ones Allah has guided, and those are people of understanding.
الَّذِينَ يَسْتَمِعُونَ الْقَوْلَ فَيَتَّبِعُونَ أَحْسَنَهُ ۚ أُولَٰئِكَ الَّذِينَ هَدَاهُمُ اللَّهُ ۖ وَأُولَٰئِكَ هُمْ أُولُو الْأَلْبَابِ UR
Az-Zumar - 19 Page 460
أَفَمَنْ حَقَّ عَلَيْهِ كَلِمَةُ ٱلْعَذَابِ أَفَأَنتَ تُنقِذُ مَن فِى ٱلنَّارِ
EN Then, is one who has deserved the decree of punishment [to be guided]? Then, can you save one who is in the Fire?
أَفَمَنْ حَقَّ عَلَيْهِ كَلِمَةُ الْعَذَابِ أَفَأَنْتَ تُنْقِذُ مَنْ فِي النَّارِ UR
Az-Zumar - 20 Page 460
لَٰكِنِ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّقَوْا۟ رَبَّهُمْ لَهُمْ غُرَفٌۭ مِّن فَوْقِهَا غُرَفٌۭ مَّبْنِيَّةٌۭ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ ۖ وَعْدَ ٱللَّهِ ۖ لَا يُخْلِفُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلْمِيعَادَ
EN But those who have feared their Lord - for them are chambers, above them chambers built high, beneath which rivers flow. [This is] the promise of Allah. Allah does not fail in [His] promise.
لَٰكِنِ الَّذِينَ اتَّقَوْا رَبَّهُمْ لَهُمْ غُرَفٌ مِنْ فَوْقِهَا غُرَفٌ مَبْنِيَّةٌ تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ ۖ وَعْدَ اللَّهِ ۖ لَا يُخْلِفُ اللَّهُ الْمِيعَادَ UR
Az-Zumar - 21 Page 460
أَلَمْ تَرَ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ أَنزَلَ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءًۭ فَسَلَكَهُۥ يَنَٰبِيعَ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ ثُمَّ يُخْرِجُ بِهِۦ زَرْعًۭا مُّخْتَلِفًا أَلْوَٰنُهُۥ ثُمَّ يَهِيجُ فَتَرَىٰهُ مُصْفَرًّۭا ثُمَّ يَجْعَلُهُۥ حُطَٰمًا ۚ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَذِكْرَىٰ لِأُو۟لِى ٱلْأَلْبَٰبِ
EN Do you not see that Allah sends down rain from the sky and makes it flow as springs [and rivers] in the earth; then He produces thereby crops of varying colors; then they dry and you see them turned yellow; then He makes them [scattered] debris. Indeed in that is a reminder for those of understanding.
أَلَمْ تَرَ أَنَّ اللَّهَ أَنْزَلَ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ مَاءً فَسَلَكَهُ يَنَابِيعَ فِي الْأَرْضِ ثُمَّ يُخْرِجُ بِهِ زَرْعًا مُخْتَلِفًا أَلْوَانُهُ ثُمَّ يَهِيجُ فَتَرَاهُ مُصْفَرًّا ثُمَّ يَجْعَلُهُ حُطَامًا ۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَذِكْرَىٰ لِأُولِي الْأَلْبَابِ UR
Az-Zumar - 22 Page 461
أَفَمَن شَرَحَ ٱللَّهُ صَدْرَهُۥ لِلْإِسْلَٰمِ فَهُوَ عَلَىٰ نُورٍۢ مِّن رَّبِّهِۦ ۚ فَوَيْلٌۭ لِّلْقَٰسِيَةِ قُلُوبُهُم مِّن ذِكْرِ ٱللَّهِ ۚ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ فِى ضَلَٰلٍۢ مُّبِينٍ
EN So is one whose breast Allah has expanded to [accept] Islam and he is upon a light from his Lord [like one whose heart rejects it]? Then woe to those whose hearts are hardened against the remembrance of Allah. Those are in manifest error.
أَفَمَنْ شَرَحَ اللَّهُ صَدْرَهُ لِلْإِسْلَامِ فَهُوَ عَلَىٰ نُورٍ مِنْ رَبِّهِ ۚ فَوَيْلٌ لِلْقَاسِيَةِ قُلُوبُهُمْ مِنْ ذِكْرِ اللَّهِ ۚ أُولَٰئِكَ فِي ضَلَالٍ مُبِينٍ UR
Az-Zumar - 23 Page 461
ٱللَّهُ نَزَّلَ أَحْسَنَ ٱلْحَدِيثِ كِتَٰبًۭا مُّتَشَٰبِهًۭا مَّثَانِىَ تَقْشَعِرُّ مِنْهُ جُلُودُ ٱلَّذِينَ يَخْشَوْنَ رَبَّهُمْ ثُمَّ تَلِينُ جُلُودُهُمْ وَقُلُوبُهُمْ إِلَىٰ ذِكْرِ ٱللَّهِ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ هُدَى ٱللَّهِ يَهْدِى بِهِۦ مَن يَشَآءُ ۚ وَمَن يُضْلِلِ ٱللَّهُ فَمَا لَهُۥ مِنْ هَادٍ
EN Allah has sent down the best statement: a consistent Book wherein is reiteration. The skins shiver therefrom of those who fear their Lord; then their skins and their hearts relax at the remembrance of Allah. That is the guidance of Allah by which He guides whom He wills. And one whom Allah leaves astray - for him there is no guide.
اللَّهُ نَزَّلَ أَحْسَنَ الْحَدِيثِ كِتَابًا مُتَشَابِهًا مَثَانِيَ تَقْشَعِرُّ مِنْهُ جُلُودُ الَّذِينَ يَخْشَوْنَ رَبَّهُمْ ثُمَّ تَلِينُ جُلُودُهُمْ وَقُلُوبُهُمْ إِلَىٰ ذِكْرِ اللَّهِ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ هُدَى اللَّهِ يَهْدِي بِهِ مَنْ يَشَاءُ ۚ وَمَنْ يُضْلِلِ اللَّهُ فَمَا لَهُ مِنْ هَادٍ UR
Az-Zumar - 24 Page 461
أَفَمَن يَتَّقِى بِوَجْهِهِۦ سُوٓءَ ٱلْعَذَابِ يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ ۚ وَقِيلَ لِلظَّٰلِمِينَ ذُوقُوا۟ مَا كُنتُمْ تَكْسِبُونَ
EN Then is he who will shield with his face the worst of the punishment on the Day of Resurrection [like one secure from it]? And it will be said to the wrongdoers, "Taste what you used to earn."
أَفَمَنْ يَتَّقِي بِوَجْهِهِ سُوءَ الْعَذَابِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ۚ وَقِيلَ لِلظَّالِمِينَ ذُوقُوا مَا كُنْتُمْ تَكْسِبُونَ UR
Az-Zumar - 25 Page 461
كَذَّبَ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ فَأَتَىٰهُمُ ٱلْعَذَابُ مِنْ حَيْثُ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ
EN Those before them denied, and punishment came upon them from where they did not perceive.
كَذَّبَ الَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ فَأَتَاهُمُ الْعَذَابُ مِنْ حَيْثُ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ UR
Az-Zumar - 26 Page 461
فَأَذَاقَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلْخِزْىَ فِى ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنْيَا ۖ وَلَعَذَابُ ٱلْءَاخِرَةِ أَكْبَرُ ۚ لَوْ كَانُوا۟ يَعْلَمُونَ
EN So Allah made them taste disgrace in worldly life. But the punishment of the Hereafter is greater, if they only knew.
فَأَذَاقَهُمُ اللَّهُ الْخِزْيَ فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا ۖ وَلَعَذَابُ الْآخِرَةِ أَكْبَرُ ۚ لَوْ كَانُوا يَعْلَمُونَ UR
Az-Zumar - 27 Page 461
وَلَقَدْ ضَرَبْنَا لِلنَّاسِ فِى هَٰذَا ٱلْقُرْءَانِ مِن كُلِّ مَثَلٍۢ لَّعَلَّهُمْ يَتَذَكَّرُونَ
EN And We have certainly presented for the people in this Qur'an from every [kind of] example - that they might remember.
وَلَقَدْ ضَرَبْنَا لِلنَّاسِ فِي هَٰذَا الْقُرْآنِ مِنْ كُلِّ مَثَلٍ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَذَكَّرُونَ UR
Az-Zumar - 28 Page 461
قُرْءَانًا عَرَبِيًّا غَيْرَ ذِى عِوَجٍۢ لَّعَلَّهُمْ يَتَّقُونَ
EN [It is] an Arabic Qur'an, without any deviance that they might become righteous.
قُرْآنًا عَرَبِيًّا غَيْرَ ذِي عِوَجٍ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَّقُونَ UR
Az-Zumar - 29 Page 461
ضَرَبَ ٱللَّهُ مَثَلًۭا رَّجُلًۭا فِيهِ شُرَكَآءُ مُتَشَٰكِسُونَ وَرَجُلًۭا سَلَمًۭا لِّرَجُلٍ هَلْ يَسْتَوِيَانِ مَثَلًا ۚ ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ ۚ بَلْ أَكْثَرُهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ
EN Allah presents an example: a slave owned by quarreling partners and another belonging exclusively to one man - are they equal in comparison? Praise be to Allah! But most of them do not know.
ضَرَبَ اللَّهُ مَثَلًا رَجُلًا فِيهِ شُرَكَاءُ مُتَشَاكِسُونَ وَرَجُلًا سَلَمًا لِرَجُلٍ هَلْ يَسْتَوِيَانِ مَثَلًا ۚ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ ۚ بَلْ أَكْثَرُهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ UR
Az-Zumar - 30 Page 461
إِنَّكَ مَيِّتٌۭ وَإِنَّهُم مَّيِّتُونَ
EN Indeed, you are to die, and indeed, they are to die.
إِنَّكَ مَيِّتٌ وَإِنَّهُمْ مَيِّتُونَ UR
Az-Zumar - 31 Page 461
ثُمَّ إِنَّكُمْ يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ عِندَ رَبِّكُمْ تَخْتَصِمُونَ
EN Then indeed you, on the Day of Resurrection, before your Lord, will dispute.
ثُمَّ إِنَّكُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ عِنْدَ رَبِّكُمْ تَخْتَصِمُونَ UR
