In this article we are providing hajj guidance step by step. Hajj, the journey to Makkah, is the fifth mainstay of Islam. The word Hajj is an Arabic word, means ‘to journey’. Hajj is a journey made to the Kaaba, the “Place of God” which each grown-up Muslim should make once in the course of their life. It is a journey to Mecca that each Muslim should take once during their life. It happens during the month of Dhul Hijjah. Dhu’l-Hijjah is the last month of the Islamic calender and finishes up with Eid-ul-Adha petitions.

In a Quran Allah says:

Indeed, the first House [of worship] established for mankind was that at Makkah – blessed and a guidance for the worlds. (Quran-3:96)

Hajj is [during] well-known months, so whoever has made Hajj obligatory upon himself therein [by entering the state of ihram], there is [to be for him] no sexual relations and no disobedience and no disputing during Hajj, and whatever good you do – Allah knows it. And take provisions, but indeed, the best provision is fear of Allah. And fear Me, O you of understanding. (Quran-2:197)

They ask you, [O Muhammad], about the new moons. Say, “They are measurements of time for the people and for Hajj.” And it is not righteousness to enter houses from the back, but righteousness is [in] one who fears Allah. And enter houses from their doors. And fear Allah that you may succeed. (Quran-2:189)

In a Hadith the Messenger of Allah, Last Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAWW) Says:

بخاری 772: انہوں نے پوچھا کہ یا رسول اللہ ! ہم جہاد کو بہت بڑی عبادت سمجھتے ہیں پس کیا ہم لوگ جہاد نہ کریں ؟ تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا : ” نہیں ! بلکہ عمدہ جہاد ” حج مبرور “ ہے“

بخاری 773: میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا : ” جو شخص اللہ کے لیے حج کرے پھر ( حج کے دوران ) کوئی فحش بات کرے اور نہ گناہ کرے تو وہ حج کر کے اس طرح بےگناہ واپس لوٹے گا گویا کہ آج ہی اس کی ماں نے اسے ( بےگناہ اور معصوم ) جنم دیا ہے “۔

بخاری 769: ( میرے بھائی ) فضل رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ہم رکاب تھے کہ خشعم ( قبیلہ خشعم ) کی ایک عورت آئی تو فضل اس کی طرف دیکھنے لگے اور وہ فضل کی طرف دیکھنے لگی تو نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فضل کا منہ دوسری طرف پھیر دیا ۔ اس عورت نے کہا کہ یا رسول اللہ ! اللہ کے فرض نے جو ادائے حج کے سلسلے میں اس کے بندوں پر ہے میرے بوڑھے اور ضعیف باپ کو پا لیا ہے ( یعنی حج کرنا ان پر ضرور ہو گیا ہے لیکن ) وہ سواری پر نہیں جم سکتے پس کیا میں ان کی طرف سے حج کر لوں ؟ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ہاں کر لے ۔ “ اور یہ ( واقعہ ) حجتہ الوداع میں ہوا تھا ۔
